This was perhaps the 3rd time that I have stayed at this hotel. The staff is invariably friendly, efficient, and helpful. It's always a pleasure to overnight here.

Good rooms - only challenge was that mine only had a single window, so limited cross ventilation. However in the summers they provided a standing fan, that was helpful. The service was good. They have a reasonable breakfast spread (juices, coffee, tea, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, bread, grilled vegetables). The assortment of fresh fruits was below expectations. Sauna available for a small additional fee

We absolutely loved this hotel! The room we booked was immaculate, quietly located, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff is universally friendly and helpful. We added a second night to the stay we had already booked and though the hotel was offering a higher rate on their website they kindly extended our stay at the same rate as our first night. Let me start my saying that there is technically nothing wrong with the hotel. Good breakfast, clean and a nice walk to the city center. But, our expectations where not quite met. The hotel is a bit overpriced in our opinion. For this price we expected a bigger room and an more luxorious bathroom. Due to availability we had to choose this hotel, but if we knew this in advance we would have looked further...

The service at reception and breakfast was efficient and friendly. It makes s difference! Would like to thank 'Babbet' on reception for assisting us with our re-booking. Very pleasant indeed. Rooms are Okay, on the small side but clean and in good order.

It is very good hotel but I took double room in which I was unable to find fridge. Wifi is free for up to three devices. The view from the hotel is pretty scenic. Back side of the hotel there stream of water which makes it perfect to spend holidays. On second floor you can find fitness center. On third floor there is play area for kids. Overall hotel is tidy and clean but in the morning stairs area...

Service and people working here are polite and it's ok. The breakfast is also good here. But I've got the room that has inside doors to another room and I heard everything from the second room. This should be offered for families etc. not for random, single people.

The Hotel was super cleaned and followed all the security measures due to the pandemic. The room is very spacious and beautiful. The bed and pillows are a little too soft. Unfortunately, the staff was not very friendly and quite cold people. Bamberg is a very nice town, super beautiful and fun!

Nice modern hotel in walking distance of Bamberg inner city with all the bars and restaraunts The design of the room was nice and clean, cool interior design details, like the round circular light over the bed. Only downside was the really thick blankets, when it was still really warm (mid September). Breakfast was delicious with good selection of food and drinks.

Beautiful luxery hotel in the centre of Bamberg. Free parking, hospital staff, great room and a very fine breakfast buffet. I was on a business trip but I recommend it to anybody. Getting on the top is hard! They managed. Staying on that position is even harder. I expect they will stay there for the upcoming years. Thank you for letting me enjoy my stay at your hotel.

Staff was so nice and the rooms were great. The air conditioning was amazing and just enjoyed my short stay completely.

Fantastic budget hotel, super close to the city center. Staff is super nice and friendly, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet has all you need. They also have a large open parking lot in the back and snack machines for the evening. Great location. We'll be back.

Although the room was small it was nice and comfortable; the receptionist was very kind; the hotel has a good location: near the station and at a few minutes from the center.

Good breakfast at a reasonable price, our bath had only a bathtub with a handheld showerhead without a curtain. Our room was large and had three big windows, a lot of light. Good bed, I slept well. Friendly night staff, had a good chat. Still, not 4* in my book.

Booked the hotel because of its 4 stars and the good votings. But some it turned out to be misleading. The hotel itself is somehow historical and the public rooms look great. Rooms: I could see quite a few rooms. Most of them had a strange setup. When you enter the room/apartment you are.in the middle if your bathroom/toilet. Kind of strange. Exceptional hotel in the heart of Bamberg. Placed in a historical building it has a nice classical flair in the public areas and stairway. Yet, the rooms are large and well equipped with modern interior. The breakfast very good. There is a parking garage underneath the hotel with direct elevator access. Loved this hotel! It's small, and old but in a good way. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Centrally located to most of the sites we wanted to visit. The breakfast (included in rate) was very nice! Clean, modern bathroom, fair rates.

Internet connection difficult to impossible with modern security conscious browsers, parking available but difficult, continental breakfast good. Room and bed good. Location good.

Beautiful property in old Bamberg. Located in the heart of the historic district. Michelin star winning property is a guaranteed good stay. Comfortable and clean rooms. The service is always outstanding. The food is also fantastic. If nothing else, come for the Bavarian style breakfast and relaxing atmosphere.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good location. Beautiful building. Noisy guests! No fan, no air con. We arrived in the heat wave, 40 degreese C.... Photos rather old...garden not tended to, rather sad and derelict. Parasols long gone from the terrace... Parking, 12€/day. Expensive? I don't think so. Overall, good value for money I would say

The hotel is located on the top of the hill so if you have a heavy luggage then you may consider taking a taxi from a train station. It's still a walking distance anyway. Rooms are clean and cosy, friendly and helpful staff. Full continental breakfast with a glass of fizz was a nice surprise! :)

Please AVOID this place at all cost. If You do not arrive between 15 -20 pm You will not get access to the rooms.???!!!?? ...they will charge You full cost and You will not be permitted even next day ..and money are already gone. It is shame ..this is not a hotel service ...it cost us us a lot of stress trouble and 612EUR

After reading some other reviews we weren't sure what to expect, but parking was not a problem. Checkin went easily. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is pretty awesome. We spent two days walking around Bamberg after leaving our car in the hotel parking area and though we logged over 23 km during those two days I'd still say anything you want to see is within walking distance.

We stayed from the 13. on the 14.05.2016 in the Arkaden hotel. Our room was in the old renovated wing, so that we could look in the courtyard. The facilities and cleanliness is very good. The room, as the Apartment was cozy and the price reasonable. All in all, this would be a great accommodation if because of the Boss (Senior Manager?) not. I stayed here for four nights in August and I rate it as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly, welcoming and also quite funny! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was huge and with a large variety. There is not a elevator for the 4th floor. Had to carry luggage up One flight without assistance. On this floor, in the room, a modified bedroom,attic room.? Bathroom only for one person as is room. Nice but tight shower with little place to put personal soap bar and such Room clean and staff very friendly. Will provide ice if asked. No refrigerator in room. No food service at night. No cola in reception...

Really nice rooms. Quite spacious when getting a room for 3-4 and putting 3-4 people and their luggage in it. Housekeeping was perfect. Only complaints are the wifi is spotty in some areas/rooms and they could have used more luggage stands.

The rooms are nothing special but clean with enough space for luggage. The service is very friendly. Shopping locations and restaurant set in a lovely historic city center are just a short walk away. Over the street is a small beer shop with local and international brewing specialities.

This is a cozy, family-run hotel conveniently located near Bambergs quaint downtown, as well as a couple of brewpubs. We loved our stay here!

Typical B&B hotel but very new. Was able to get a parking spot. Front desk boy was nice and helpful. He gave us early check-in and reheated the dinner for us. A little bit far if walking to the major tourist attractions.

If it hadn’t been so costly it would have been a good compromise. The floor (carpet) didn’t leave a hygienic impression, the rest was simple but ok. Underestimated the far distance from the beautiful part of Bamberg. Great parking.

We booked a room last minute and we were happy with how easy it was to park, check in and catch the bus out front to explore the city. We also had our dog with us for a small fee.

We were lucky to get free car parking. Do get in before 2200 hrs as the check in and access entry is based on hotel reservation booking no. It may be possible to do a walk in booking after 2200 hrs electronically. Decent hotel and a simple breakfast spread.

We stayed at the B&B hotel in Bamberg. The Hotel is located near the center of Bamberg and you can walk to center of travel with the bus with is nearby. I use B&B hotels more often and i'm satisfied with the quality, personel and good rooms and breakfast. Top!

Standard B&B rooms. Modern and clean so no worries there. Check-in took quite long with large groups of young people waiting and only one person on reception. I don't know what it is about B&B hotels but there are always random people hanging around the entrance drinking alcohol and smoking. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Standard German meats and cheeses with yoghurt and fruit so don't expect...

The ambience fits. You can tell that the country inn doesn't want to be a typical Franconian restaurant, which you can also tell when eating. Unfortunately the quality of the food varies depending on how busy it is as there is only one waiter and one chef. In summer you can relax in the garden with a beer. All in all well worth a visit.

The food (lunch on Sunday) was delicious. Very well seasoned sauces, tender meat, decent portions, fast friendly service and fair prices. The only downside: the very cool-looking light unfortunately creates an uninviting atmosphere in the otherwise beautiful and renovated guest rooms. Maybe exchange a few new LED bulbs with warm light for the old energy-saving bulbs and there will be 5 stars.

Very good home cooking, you can't complain. The portions are more than sufficient. The service area should be rated with 6 stars. Street food or food to order and collection is also great. We like to go to the mold or order the food by phone and pick it up. Also over the New Year's Eve menu was very good and priced ok. Too bad there wasn't one in 2017. We hope for 2018👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Delicious Franconian food and even for vegetarians there is always at least 1 dish on the menu, which is not the case in most traditional restaurants. Even when it was busy, the waitresses were always friendly and courteous and even the toilet area is modern and clean.

Friendly Hotel that I would book for short stays. The location on a main traffic route is not ideal, but the rooms to the rear are very quiet. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The Breakfast was fine, a small Buffet with a good selection. Only the Breakfast room feels a bit cold and was in the Morning also in terms of temperature to fresh.

A querky renovation including much of the owners own reclaimed furniture and artistic light fittings. Great location in the middle of the historic town, across the lane from a nice pub serving smokey beer. Owners very friendly and helpful.

Really good service overall. There's water, bread and more in the room all for free which was really good. Also you can make tea or coffee. I loved that! The place is clean, and very well maintained. I'm giving 4 stars only because of the size of the room. It's perfect for one person but the room the offer for two is just not enough.

Good time. Alright to stay there for the weekend for one's stay in bamberg. Best way to put it is it gives the feels of a modern art museum. We got the small double bed room. Structure is not too new, but with refurbished bedrooms and comfortable, you reach the town centre with a stroll of a few minutes. Excellent accommodation of bicycles. A council take a look around and feel the local beer smoked it is worth it.

The hotel is located deep within the city but not far from breweries, eateries, and local shopping. The building is narrowed in space but durable. Getting to your floors can be tricky but the staff can help with that. The staff is not 24/7. There is a elevator but because how the building was built the elevator takes you to or close to your room. For example, to get the the 300 rooms you must take...

The hotell is old with whatever comes with that. Still. The breakfast and the location on its own is worth five stars

Nice small hotel with comfortable rooms, big beds and comfortable bathroom with fan. Breakfast is very good and tasty. Close to dam on river. You can't reach it with car, only by walk. Entrance in some rooms is funny i.e. entrance for room 30x is from door around corner or from reception take lift to 2nd floor and go down stairs to the 0 level.

Great room and great service. Alina was spectacular. From reservations, check-in at reception and key issue. Did not realize that I locked my key in the room until 19.30. Called hotel and she returned 20 minutes later to unlock the room. She is fantastic. Thank you so very much for everything you did to make our stay at Hotel Molitor exceptional. Highly recommend.

Clean, affordable. Great location. Bamburg is beatiful. The hotel was partially closed when we stayed there so check-in was a bit of a nightmare involving finding another hotel several blocks away where we could pick up the keys.

The style of the decor is not to Every taste, but all very consistent. The staff is extremely friendly and the Breakfast was perfect.

i don't eat many sweet things because i don't like them and this place is the perfect one not to eat but to see the sweets. very curious pigs they had i like them:) a very cozy and authentic place perfect to sit have a tea or a coffe and some pastries maybe and read a book or write some google reviews. you can't pay by credit card like in the 70% of german places .......

Good apfelstrudel. I asked for extra whipped cream but got really nice hot vanilla cream made from scratch.

The cafe area of the hotel is a nice one, with classic decoration. It is also a patisserie, with very good variety of sweets and cakes.The coffee is good. Casual place, crowded enough, polular for travellers, dogs friendly. Outdoor space is available.
