Everything very clean. Breakfast very 😋. staff very friendly.

Super pleasant and quaint! With a view of the Alps and a delicious beer, you can relax on your little balcony! Only 4 stars because the fluorescent tube above the bed was a bit annoying, but I would still like to come back anytime! And: the ristorante in town is fantastic !!! ;)

In this hotel/guesthouse, time has stood still around 1980. Renovations were made but the bathroom was very cramped and an electrician should have a look at the electrical system above the bed, although the cables were isolated and a junction box without a cover was not possible. The range of bread rolls is manageable, at least on Sundays. You can take a conclusion, but you don't have to

Genuine German House of Guests This is a genuine house of Guests. The location is beautiful and it is close for a visit to Salzburgo. The hosts are a very nice family, Maria and Lutz. The rooms are clean and peaceful. We have not tried better cooked eggs for breakfast, we should definetely come back.

Amazing breakfast. You wouldn't expect that from a random bed&breakfast. Also, the owners are so friendly and helpful. It's only 2 minutes away from the highway!

we spent a nice holiday in there 06.2018. Chiemsee is a nice spot for short vacation. Hotel is well connected either with train or by car. Room is quite & nice breakfast served.

Although we arrived much too early, a nice exception was made and we were able to move into our room. That was really good. Otherwise only praise for this accommodation. Great rooms with a balcony and a small kitchen, delicious breakfast with lots of homemade things. Bicycle storage is also available. Unfortunately we were only there one night. Amazing breakfast. The rooms have great views. It is tranquil and relaxing. They have a restaurant with pretty decent food. Everything that you need. It's also very close to the highway if you need to leave early.

The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and the view from the room is amazing. Also the breakfast was very good and various. I highly recommend the hotel. It was only a 14 minute drive from Chiemsee.

Host is very accomodating and nice. Scenic views and pleasant. Must go for people looking for peaceful outing and chiemsee is a 20 min drive from here.

Very lovely place in the heart of country, very much off the beaten track. No elevator so too much of a chore to bring suitcases up to the rooms. Cheerful & helpful staff during breakfast which was a bit limited in the selection.

Stopped here on the way to the national park. Excellent food, service and portions for the lunch crowd. Nice outside eating area with valley views and chirping birds. Parked on a side street but stalls are also available across the street.

The stay at the Hotel Steffl was very nice and we felt very comfortable. We had a great time with our one-year-old daughter at the Chiemsee and in the mountains and felt absolutely welcome in the hotel! The hotel is very familiar and very, very friendly and clean. You feel welcome right from the start, you get enough information about excursion destinations and there is a sufficient breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Inexpensive for Ruhpolding, although I don't know what it looks like when the Biathlon World Cup takes place there. We loved it and will come again. 👍👌 Thomas Felsch

We liked everything: location, stuff, rooms (extremely clean) , food (we celebrated here christmas) swimming pool. The only min was - it was extremely WARM in the restaurant. It was so warm that I couldn't enjoy the atmosphere.

We had a perfect stay. The food was outstanding and the also have a brand new Spa. All the staff was so helpfull with advise to visit places nearby. Salzburg is just about 30 minutes away. The rooms are refurbished and we one on the top floor with a mountain view.

Nice and quick service in the beer garden in the afternoon for good price so decided to test it for dinner also. Good atmosphere inside and quick service. Really good desert and was possible to get a small cognac to it.

Traditional nice hotel. Service can be improved both at the reception desk and at breakfast. For hiking: in Aug most of the cable cars were closed.

We booked a week at the Alpenhotel Wittelsbach , opting for the romantic suite, to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The room itself was breathtaking. The service exceptional. Marus and Anya are amazing hosts. Ruhpolding is an excellent place for walking, recharging the batteries and generally enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature.

In the cozy pension / hotel you feel completely at ease. Excellent, very nice hosts, the breakfast is delicious, rich and something for everyone and the rooms are clean and spacious. Decorations are in the style of the '70s. I don't mind, but for some won't be enough. We've been given a small chambre in the attic, yet we've paid full price. They said they were full. We stayed one night only, and have plenty of good memories about it: quiet location, clean and cosy rooms (renovated!), drinks available 24/7 (self service, paid at check out), a very kind owner, delicilous breakfast and many others. It is very good place to stay for a week. Clean room, nice breakfast, normal service. Haus Alpine has a very good location in the Ruhpolding - 5 minutes to the Vita Alpina, 5 minutes to the center. You can park car near house, no problem.

It's a very nice, small but modern restaurant. It can be seen that all dishes as prepared at the moment, very less from cans or refrigerated, everything tastes very good and fresh. Service is very good, there is always someone around taking care of your needs. They are very friendly and helping to know what to order. I would definitely come again if I'm somewhere here near.

I just loved this place. The breakfast served was good. They provided us with a diaper changing mat and baby bed on request. Of course it costs 15€ additional price. They also let us wax the cross country skis and were very accommodating with check-in times too. Definitely will choose them when in the Ruhpolding

Only stayed one night but thought the hotel (and town) was worth a longer visit. Nice location, excellent room, the hotel has character and is in a nice spot.

Clean and rustic hotel. Rooms were very clean and plenty of room, including rails for drying wet ski wear. Staff were extremely friendly and polite and helpful. Would visit again.

Outstanding place to stay. On our recent visit to Ruhpolding from Ireland, we stayed at the Alte Sage. Stefanie and Harry were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room - Super. Breakfast - Super. Nice big and clean apartments, with all the basic equipment you need. Decent prices and kind staff. Free WiFi, an outside pool, a sauna and breakfast-rolls service to top it all off. Booked several apartments for a larger group and certainly enjoyed the stay.
