I just loved this place. The breakfast served was good. They provided us with a diaper changing mat and baby bed on request. Of course it costs 15€ additional price. They also let us wax the cross country skis and were very accommodating with check-in times too. Definitely will choose them when in the Ruhpolding

Only stayed one night but thought the hotel (and town) was worth a longer visit. Nice location, excellent room, the hotel has character and is in a nice spot.

Clean and rustic hotel. Rooms were very clean and plenty of room, including rails for drying wet ski wear. Staff were extremely friendly and polite and helpful. Would visit again.

Outstanding place to stay. On our recent visit to Ruhpolding from Ireland, we stayed at the Alte Sage. Stefanie and Harry were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room - Super. Breakfast - Super. Cleanliness - Spotless. Location - Super (beside the river). Stefanie, who speaks perfect English was always available for information, tips and directions. Highly, Highly Recommend. Best holiday ever.

Loved the small town, this hotel and scenery. Great hosts, delecious breakfast. Impressive attention to detail in the rooms. Lovely 😊

I stayed here 3 times so far, and I enjoyed it every time I am here. It feels like home away from home even though I stayed here mainly for business. This is also perfect for families who want to enjoy the surroundings of Ruhpolding. Please note that this hotel does not serve dinner, so anyone who reviewed this hotel complaining about bad dinner, they reviewed the wrong hotel or were paid by competitors. :) They do serve great breakfast though. I highly recommend this place!

Accommodation perfect - beautiful, clean, modern rooms. Stefanie and Harry - the owners of the best I met on my travels, Stefanie was very helpful and gave us lots of info about the area. Breakfast great - home like from mum :) . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend to all ! Thank you for everything.

This is indeed a very nice place to stay. It is easy to fi d and close to the center of Ruhpolding. The reception was very friendly and I was quickly helped getting a seat reserved at a local restaurant.
My room was nice and large but with a tiny shower. The TV was likewise small but who cares.
Breakfast is top notch with a great selection of cold cuts, cheese, yogurts, Müsli, bread, eggs, toast, coffee and tea. Loved it and was fine until I got home again in the late afternoon.
Will try to stay here when I am in the vicinity the next time.
