Hotel opened in 1974, renovated in 2013. In this mini-hotel 107 rooms, 6 floors.
Policies and conditions

There is a so cool hotel.
Clean, calm, in center.
Room was so clean and chic.
Personal was so kimd and helpful. Especially thank you for everything reception personal that is Manuel.
Breakfast is better than the other German hotels.
Hotel is close to Colegne Catedral, mall and restaurant.
Transport is so easy.

Old hotel, but pleasant staff + amenities.
PROS:
+ The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly! Whenever we had a problem, they found a solution for it.
+ Location is good, not too far from the city center and the main train station (which is where the Kölner Dom is).
+ High-quality amenities. The bed + pillows were comfortable, the towels were proper towels, and the hairdryer was an actual made-in-Italy hairdryer.
+ Decent water pressure and temperature.
CONS:
- The TV didn't work. When I turned it on, it shut down with a crackle, so we just left it off for the duration of our stay.
- There is one central elevator for everything, even cleaning staff, so it might take a while to get to your floor. After checking in, we waited over ten minutes for the elevator to arrive because it stopped for quite a while on every floor. This was especially discouraging after a long journey.

The location of the hotel is within walking distance from Koln Hbf. The walk is quite enjoyable because you get to see the old Roman Townwall, 2 Roman towers, and Roman fountain along the way!
The street where the hotel is located is incredibly quiet. The breakfast is out of the world! You can have fresh honey from the honeycomb and fresh juice right from the juicer!
Sleeping in the room is wonderfully comfortable. The front desk staff is super friendly. I even got three packs of free wildflower seeds from a receptionist.
All in all, you get food and room beyond your money's worth. Not only is this hotel highly recommended, but I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Koln!

I had an excellent stay in this hotel during a trip. Staff did a great job snd always tried to help out. We got in our room much faster than anticipated. Location is excellent just around 10 min. from central station by foot. We had an awesome view of the Cologne Cathedral from our window.

A very nice hotel!
I stayed here with my boyfriend and the service we received here exceeded our expectations. The staff is very helpful and nice, the location of the hotel is perfect. Close to shopping streets with cafes and restaurants. The only small downside is that the beds are a bit hard, but the rooms are really worth the price. We really enjoyed our stay here, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. :)

I was accommodated in the period June 22/24, 2024.
A lot of negative points for this 4-star hotel, they don't have a refrigerator, they don't have personal hygiene products, they don't have a coffee maker, room slippers, etc...
The most important negative aspect is the fact that at breakfast my bag containing money, cards and identity documents was STOLEN!
I received NO help from the staff and the surveillance cameras were not working!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
Another aspect to consider:
The hotel deleted the review from their page!

WORST reception ever. If person is not able to answer “good morning” and continue ignore the guest for minutes there must not work at a reception.

Rooms are very nice tho a bit small but to be honest it is all you need for your stay. It is very centrally place, it’s a 15 minute walk from Köln HBF - also you can easly walk to many shopping streets - the area itself where the hotel is located is totally quiet

Nice sized room and the hotel is 15 minutes walk away from the cathedral and a few minutes walk from a shopping area. There's a bar downstairs but no restaurant (except for breakfast). Restaurants in easy walking distance. Staff here were helpful and small issues were fixed in a reasonable amount of time. It was quiet at night.
The rooms could have done with usb chargers as well as sockets, we were very surprised to find none. The pillows are unbelievably uncomfortable. They do offer a pillow menu, but there was only one other kind available which also offered none of its promised support. Every time we arrived or left through the front door there was a group of people smoking on the top step and no effort was apparently made to encourage them to smoke elsewhere.

The hotel is unfriendly. I booked hotel with a free cancelation option but when selected looks unfundable if cancel. In same seconds asked to change my reservation as free cancelation option. The representative is very unpolite and not change my request. Very bad experience.
