This is a hotel with very nice and helpful staff, very nice, airy and nice rooms. The gym is great Dinner and breakfast were good and it was nice to send a thank you to the chefs. In other words, a fantastic hotel with charm. We will be happy to come back

Fair price for a satisfactory stay Stay and price match each other nicely. We were on our way back from Austria and in that connection the hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. Air conditioning was a bit lacking, but on the other hand the breakfast was quite nice

Hello, I would like to tell you a little about my experience at this hotel. Spacious rooms and cleaned daily as they should be, friendly staff in any problem you may have, breakfast more than enough even for the picky eaters, the restaurant has many very friendly waiters who also know English. I recommend staying at this hotel to anyone passing through this area.

I have visited this hotel several times. All in all it it a good hotel with good service. The only problem is the rooms have no aircondition. Really needed in this hot weather.

Have been here often. The hotel is in a good location. Service personnel is friendly and always helpful. Rooms are spacious. However no aircondition in rooms. Pet friendly hotel. But a safe place to stay on business or for vacation.

Large room with comfortable, quiet rooms, pleasant staff and good location. Car parking was a small walk from hotel and just €3/day. Breakfast was nice, and although I found it to be expensive, it was the least expensive during my trip….it’s a Euro thing ;-)

The location is quiet and near a large farm. Everything else is good, except for the poor Wi-Fi.

Excellent room, very friendly reception, sadly breakfast is 16 Euro per Person. No alternative (small breakfast). However, super friendly, and pets allowed which is great but a one-off charge 15 Euros. Plenty parking too but is charged 6 Euro per day nowerdays. Overall are other locations becoming more interesting now.

Room was musty, very dirty windows in the morning hours, unfriendly reception staff

Quick stopover from Poland to Germany on the way to London and it was a very reasonable price for a night at €45. Clean and comfortable room with a restaurant and lobby.

What can I say? It's a palace. The rooms are indeed palatial in decor and space.

The Hotel Staff is very friendly. The Breakfast is great. The restaurant serves great food. I would gladly stay at the ElbRivera again. There is nothing bad about it. It's a traditional hotel where guests are treated well by the very friendly staff.

You can feel hotel has it's age. But overall it's super clean, stuff super nice. Breakfast has huge variety of options. Good place to stay over night. Good value for the money.

It was a good hotel but with diner it is difficult. After 8 or 9 pm you cannot order anything at the hotel self. But they allow takeaway or delivery from another restaurant.

One night stay Stopped off in Magdeburg on my way to Berlin and opted for Mercure hotel. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was clean, comfortable and had good WiFi coverage. Bike friendly, which was a bonus. Would happily use again

Things seem to be going downhill. The underground car park is now closed and the Italian restaurant in the building is permanently closed. The rooms look old and are now really due for a comprehensive renovation. Motivated employees are still holding everything together well, but it is very clear that renovations will soon take place. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I would like to come back...

This hotel was just for one night each way on our journey. Close to motorway. Nice, quiet. Has own parking - 10 euros for one night but also is possible to park outside for free.

I've stayed here twice, and each time I can't really fault the hotel. OK, the late-night check is fiddle and not something you want to go through when you are tired and in need of sleep. We booked a family room. Nice bright and spacious with a king size bed and bunk. The room was air-conditioned and with all amenities needed apart from the phone. You can get a cold buffet breakfast with a half price discount for a child.

The hotel is right next to the train station and is a good starting point for a city trip. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are accordingly older and leave something to be desired. It was very cold when I arrived in Magdeburg. The warmest place was the hotel. I slept in the hotel every day and didn't want to go out. The service was very good, the hotel decoration was also good, there was a very open lobby, and the surrounding area was also very convenient, a few minutes away from the station

The hotel is best located, 5 to 10 min walking distance from the main station, 10 min to the Bauhaus museum and 15 min to the Bauhaus building. The breakfast is super and serve continental food. Good hotel in excellent location, in the centre of Dessau with a very convenient underground car park (paid separately). Rooms are spacious and comfortable, however a little bit tired, for example a carpet in the room was stained. Generally the hotel is OK and I think I would stay there again.

I spent the last Thursday night of August 2024 in the Kurt Weil suite of this hotel. The room was fine, the bed and shower excellent. The best was that I was treated to a cold beer waiting for me in my room after having checked in with a 1000 km drive in my bum and the outdoor temperature at +35. The breakfast room is depressing and the quality of the products served does not match the star rating...

Ok, not for long accommodation, rooms and path rooms are less than ordinary, nice reception and restaurant stuff specially the Indian stuff in the restaurant unfortunately I didn't know their names.

The Hotel themselve had its glorious times already, unfortunately you directly feel this. There is nearly no invest to keep the previous standards as well as no activities to improve the current situation. The carpets as well as curtains are worn out. The rooms are aged and the time gnaws on the furniture as well... The staff was all time very friendly and supportively, arrivals while midnight no problem...

The hotel is very quiet and modern with good amenities. Parking garage is good but tight so I'm glad my rental was compact. The staff was fine, not overtly friendly, I don't think i saw anyone smoke while I was here. I was traveling with my adult daughter and felt safe. Plenty of food options close by to walk to. It's not fancy but for the price, it's reasonable.

Had a very pleasant short stay in Dormero! The room was clean and spacious. There was a free mini bar in the room and free coffee in the lobby. Wifi worked excellently. At the same time, the price was surprisingly low. Can recommend this place!

Good place to stay - clean rooms, friendly stuff

Very central. Clean. Quite cosy. The rooms are in good shape and quite large. The beedroom is for 2 persons and nr 3 person sleept in the living room on a daybed. We only stayed for one night but it was well worth the money. Nice view to castle. Notice that if you rent a park space in the yard the gate is very narrow so large cars can't enter or exit easily.

Very spacious, but sparse. Towels were not exchanged during our 4 day stay. Breakfast was ok, plenty to eat and a good choose. We would stay again.

Totally loved my stay. I spent one night and unfortunately couldn’t make it to the gym but I love the atmosphere and the room style. Staff is super friendly and breakfast is good.

The staff is friendly and customer oriented. In the same building you can find a SPA and sauna, as well a very complete GYM. The breakfast is buffet with all basic to get charge of energy for the day. From my point of view the bed, at least the one I got is small and since is an old building the isolation against noise is not good.
