Very nice restaurant at Bernburg city. The food was delicious and the waiter, Ahmed, was very gentle. Even the kitchen closes at 21h, they attended me preparing a fauvolous dessert! Highly recommended!

The staff are friendly, especially those who clean the rooms at the hotel. They do their best. The room becomes very clean and neat when they pass through. The location is not bad. But the parking fee is 6 euro daily. On the ground floor, there is a restaurant and bar.

I like it when a place gets it just right. This place did for me. In covid times some people are put off going out I'm glad I felt very comfortable there. I found the staff very attentive and friendly. They went the extra mile. Rooms were very clean. Check-in and check- out was easy. I felt at home there.

Very nice place to stay after we rode our motorbikes from Krakow. We had no problems booking the room for four guys. Two rooms within one, quite unusual but fitted the bill perfectly. Very clean and tidy. I would recommend it to anyone who is traveling wanting an hotel.

Location with view to these lake. Gratis minigolf or boat rental. Beautiful spa area with gratis tea and chill area inside and outside. We really enjoyed everything a lot. We did a bike tour to Berlin and could recharge or batteries! :)

Fair price for a satisfactory stay Stay and price match each other nicely. We were on our way back from Austria and in that connection the hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. Air conditioning was a bit lacking, but on the other hand the breakfast was quite nice

Hello, I would like to tell you a little about my experience at this hotel. Spacious rooms and cleaned daily as they should be, friendly staff in any problem you may have, breakfast more than enough even for the picky eaters, the restaurant has many very friendly waiters who also know English. I recommend staying at this hotel to anyone passing through this area.

Good acomodation in the middle of the city

Location of the hotel in city center is ok but there is no parking place if you arrive late, small rooms are newly furnished and tidy, unfortunately something wrong was in my bathroom - the smell was disgusting.

Having a bit more space in the bathroom would've been nice. Breakfast was good. Overall a good experience but for a longer (business) stay the bigger rooms are advised.

I stayed here one night during my bike trip to Berlin (from the Netherlands). The hotel was a little bit besides my route, but I found it worthwhile. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere. In (German) ratings I read something about limited staff, but this did not bother me. It feels a little bit like Fawlty Towers if the receptionist is also the waiter in the restaurant. The places really felt authentic. The rooms gave you that castle feeling and breakfast was really nice. The spa area is surprisingly nice and the nearby pond really complimented the experience. Would absolutely recommend!!

We were this weekend with the DOC Leipzig in the hotel and were super satisfied from start to finish. The welcome was very friendly, our room right by the pool was amazing. I like the charm of the house and the attention to detail. We had dinner at the pizzeria next door. Breakfast in the house was perfect. We will be back. 👌👍🏼

I have visited this hotel several times. All in all it it a good hotel with good service. The only problem is the rooms have no aircondition. Really needed in this hot weather.

Large room with comfortable, quiet rooms, pleasant staff and good location. Car parking was a small walk from hotel and just €3/day. Breakfast was nice, and although I found it to be expensive, it was the least expensive during my trip….it’s a Euro thing ;-)

Nice hotel. A Clean facility with clean rooms. Self check in Kiosk on after hours when reception is not present. Pet friendly. A good place to spend the night while traveling or taking a day trip in the city.

One night stayover Very nice little hotel on the shore of Elbe. Beautiful located veranda on which had a beer before dinner. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good. City Inn - a cheap Bed & Breakfast "Hotel". Beds were OK. Room was very small but clean (~10m², incl. the open bathroom inside the room). The room was very spacious with 2 double beds (we were 3 people), with enough space for luggage and belongings. The breakfast was great and the staff thoughtful. They offered free parking at the place and it"s really close to all touristic places of the city. Recommend.

Has been cost efficient, easy and provided me with everything I needed : A shower, a bed and breakfast. You can even boil your own tee there, damn it did bug me that I haven't had that with me. All in all simple yet sufficient.

You can feel hotel has it's age. But overall it's super clean, stuff super nice. Breakfast has huge variety of options. Good place to stay over night. Good value for the money.

It was a good hotel but with diner it is difficult. After 8 or 9 pm you cannot order anything at the hotel self. But they allow takeaway or delivery from another restaurant.

I have been staying at this hotel for 8 years now and every year that passes things get better, this year was just as comfortable and caring as before. However the bar and restaurant have re-opened and the barmanager is doing an excellent job and was very engaging when i ate there. I will come again!

Just beautiful. It is one of the rare old style German hotels that are not streamlined by the big hotel chains. The owners are very helpful, the location is excellent and breakfast more than we have expected. The neighborhood gives view to a number of great mansions dating back to the Wilhelminian period.

We visited this hotel some 14 years ago and we are still talking about the experience we then had. For us Hotel Residenz Joop has become the standard for the quality of hotels.
