Where to stay in Bernkastel-Kues

Beautiful property... about a 25min walk to historical down town. You can take a cab but it’s a awesome walk thought wine country! The hotel staff was very nice this is a large property with lots todo.

Hospitable and professional staff. Beautiful scenery overlooking Bitchen and it's breweries. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Germany.

It's good, not excellent. It's dated, the "rooms" are pretty small but the apartments are of a good size. Plumbing, kitchen, shower/bathtub is ok. German granny style :). Colors are basically Brown and dark brown and tad's of gold. (Don't get your hopes up, it's all fake). In this (extreme) hot period it's also very hot and humid in the rooms even at night. (No airco) Food is reasonable, nothing to...

Needs work Wlan is bad, food wasn't very good. The little shop wasn't opened long enough. To much meds given. For me it was a waste of time.

Value for money, located in nice hiking Mosel area.

Absolutely the best Mosel wines! Very nice and large rooms and so beautiful old house by the river Mosel. Helpfull and nice staff. Breakfast is five star as well!

Great location. Public parking around the corner. We had two rooms. A perfect hotel in the heart of historic Aachen.

We had a very nice room with a roof terrace and a view of the Moselle, everything was clean and well-kept. It's a historic building, so I can see the light soundproofing in the rooms. The only drawback, we booked with a dog. Breakfast included. But the dog is not allowed to stay alone in the room? But not in the breakfast room either... uhmmm, how am I supposed to have breakfast then, please? Therefore...

Very welcoming. Very friendly. Very helpful. All the more appreciated since it is not so common in such a touristic region.

Very simple hotel. The room functional, clean with a nice bathroom. The location in the old town great only for sleeping very noisy. The breakfast not appealing. Very basic, paid €100 for one night in a double room. Wouldn't book there again.

Barrier-free, as there is an elevator and only a small step in the shower. But the entrance cannot be reached by car. The location in the old town is otherwise great, but you have to be able to walk well. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the beds were a disaster. The staff was very friendly!

Payment only in cash. No bank cards. Prefer to go to Luxembourg or France, bank cards of course, cash rarely.

Very, very nice, exceptionaly clean rooms and a great cafe serving delicous food in a peacfull setting with woodland walks nearby. The owners (Jan Ernst) are extreemly friendly and accommadating and the breakfast delicious. 5 stars from me for sure.

The rooms are so quaint, the staff are so friendly and attentive, location is central. Restaurant across has some of the best food I've ever had. I ordered the grilles salmon, with potatoes and cooked spinach.

A beautiful town with a charming centre in the traditional German style. If your staying at a local hotel a voucher is available to allow parking in public car parks. (5euros 2019).

Ms. Müller is a warm woman who made you feel like she was having fun at her work. We had a clean room with a TV and a double bed. Nice place, not fancy and yes the decor was stuck in the 80s (70s?), but the hostess was very friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the price was right. We stayed here for the Bernkastel-Kues weinfest 2018, and it was a bit of a hike to BK, almost 3 miles. But it was a nice footpath along the river, so no regrets. And taxis were available...

The family hotel is great. The siblings are very nice and helpful. The view of the vineyards from the terrace is beautiful. Breakfast is delicious and served in the beautiful old restaurant. The rooms are simple but bright, clean and cosy. The water pressure in the shower is really cool. We'd love to come back :)

Probably quite good for cyclists, as the bikes can be parked in a garage. Gastronomy for years. Rooms are spacious but not modern and very noisy. TV much too small. Church 50 meters away provides half-hourly time information. Access via steep outside stairs. Staff very friendly.

Cozy and nostalgic hotel, rather a B&B. Close to the Moselle and bridge over it. Clean stay and nice breakfast.

Spent two nights in the Weiskopf booked comfort room unfortunately the view of the Moselle and the size of the room is only comfort and of course the price! Wife was very disappointed with the sight of the equipment! Afterwards we spent three days in Andernach also Comfort Z where everything was right u even a little cheaper u priced u also central! Getting to the Weiskopf a bit difficult but feasible...

Hotel adjacent to vineyard, and only a few meters from the market square Sleek, clean room, good breakfast, delicious wine, parking space is scarce.

Stayed for 7 weeks best experience! I recommend to go in this hotel! 🥳 The view is the best , small room but ok the beds were really comfortable and large the price is fine .. Top chef in the restaurant.

Not as luxurious as you'd expect given the prices and frankly disappointing. Dinner was okay, but nothing special; the breakfast was relatively meager by German standards. Worst of all, though, was getting stuck for half an hour trying to leave in the morning while hotel staff tried to get a hold of the only person who was able to check us out - apparently 8 AM is an unreasonably early hour to check...

When there is a chance and they put slots on Booking.com, definitely take it! It’s marvelous value for money, and you get very good breakfast and the whole spa for free! Only be aware: it’s 3km up from the Mosel, 3 very steep kilometers, which is hell for cyclists, and it causes you to stay where you are once there…

Best ever 5 day retreat for me and my 89 year old mum. We loved every minute, from chilling in one of the many 'Ruheraeume' and 'schlemmen' on any of the various tasty snacks or beautifully presented tasty breakfasts and dinners. I only came for a day spa. Lovely place,- modern..clean. Girl at the reception was very kind and friendly., spoke good English. Enough to do for a day - good swimming area with jacuzzi, enough sun beds. I loved the area with fireplace at the pool and the sun terrace. Lunch was OK. Buffet - priced 18,50€ . Quality was so so but there were enough options. Loved the variety of juices, coffee and cake...

The rooms are modern. Really nice bath and furniture. But I'm missing the air condition. With 38 degrees over day temperature outside... I would really recommend an air on in the room otherwise you can't get any sleep. Anyways, the spa is like a maze. But while your check-in you get a little map with all explanations, and staff is very helpful. The breakfast it big and nice. The dinner is also very...

Food is great, waiters very nice. Make sure to book massages etc in advance, it is trickier to plan it in here, as other people also use their services.

Absolutely great service at the hotel, great location for walking, boat trip etc. If your by car ask about parking ticket in the reception, 3 days costs 12€.

Stayed here last year and returning this year, an excellent comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Bernkastel-Kues is an exquisite place to visit loads of bars and restaurants and boat trips a must!

Views of the Mossel river from cozy teddy bear themed hotel. A fresh delicious breakfast with scrambled eggs made to order and friendly staff. The single room was a bit snug but very nice non the less.

Hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. This has the best private sauna. There is plenty of parking for everyone. 4 stars because breakfast was packed and we had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. Rooms are clean.

Tucked away from the touristy side of Bernkastel Kues - on the Kues side of the Mosel River. A real gem. Super friendly service made us feel really welcome. Comfortable modern rooms with more amenities than we expected! Added bonus was the hotel restaurant Ochs where we had dinner the night we stayed over. Amazing regional dishes.

Lovely spot - I called in for some food and a pint, Got the Schnitzel (Deep fried pork) they give you 2 of them with the mushroom sauce and fried potatoes it was lovely. Nice setting and very relaxing over looking the river at the other side of the road.

Stayed here in 2015 fantastic breakfast layout great service from all the staff and nice clean rooms. Lots of free parking and only 5 minutes walk in to town just takes longer to stagger back after a few local drinks.

Ein akzeptables Low-Budget-Hotel, alles was man braucht - und nicht mehr. Wären da nicht die 30 grad im Zimmer und eine nicht wirklich funktionierende Klimaanlage gewesen, die Nacht wäre vielleicht ganz passabel gewesen.

I stayed 4 nights Here for a Business Trip. Reception was Very friendly and welcoming, WiFi free and Clean room. The Bistro was Excellenz for breakfast and at night for pizza and Drinks with a bar. Recommended 10 Out of 10 for this price range

on the last evening of our stay we wanted to give the small hotel restaurant a chance. and were surprised. you can expect really good, honest BUT simple home-style cooking in the restaurant zur post. no tourist trap! the food here is much better than the food that you can get in the relevant restaurants in the old town. these "top" rated tourist traps were all a horror from a culinary point of view...
