Thanks for the cosy stay at your hotel. We spent 3 nights at your place and made use of the overwhelming wellness offer. "Erlebnissauna" is not what a Sauna purist would expect but it was a fun experience. Food was delicious and personal was always kind! The room (112) could have been more modern. Anyway well deserved 5 stars!

Great with few areas for improvement. The new sauna and the events there are great. Also the artificial lake is a very nice place. Food is very nice and buffets are great. The WiFi coverage is weak across almost all areas and re-logon every time is annoying (in particular as cell coverage is weak as well).

Nice retreat for the weekend. Service was very good and nice people. A bartender was a bit unpolished service wise. Really good Spa with excellent products.

Nice hotel in a lovely location. Food and service were good and staff friendly. Only criticism was that the curtains were very thin and so I was woken up by early morning sunlight streaming into my room in the front of the hotel. Rooms at the rear probably didn't suffer from this problem.

It's a very nice hotel, the funiture in the rooms is a bit old school in my opinion but the rooms are clean and the view from the balconies is amazing. The people working at the hotel are most friendly and helpful.

Everything is great. We had a suite, it really looked like in the photos, I especially want to note the friendliness of the staff.

It's a cheap clean hotel with very friendly staff. The only downer is the dinner, there are empty containers and bowls if you are not the first. (Salad, dessert, vegetables, etc.) The food is always tasted very late.

At dinner there is a lot of variety: sometimes there is a generous buffet, on other days you can order food fresh from the kitchen. A large selection of fruits is always included. Needs some updates. Beds and mattresses should be renewed. Wifi is not working properly throughout the whole hotel. English is an issue. Price/quality is OK.

Came to this hotel today by chance on a bike tour and stopped for a cappuccino. There was a great buffet of cakes that we could help ourselves to. So delicious, I loved it. The hotel is in a great location and is very beautiful. We will definitely book a stay here one day. We will meet again!

A really nice, albeit outdated, hotel and excellent service. Unfortunately there are not enough staff, so the guest has to wait sometimes. We booked an apartment with half board. The apartment itself and the entire hotel complex is very clean. At dinner you can choose between two main courses, which tasted very good. You also got another portion if needed. Furthermore there was always a salad buffet, a soup and a dessert. I cannot confirm negative reviews that have already been given.

The apartments are located in separate buildings within a few 100m's of the main hotel building with restaurant, sauna, spa and kids play area. It's very nice place. With very friendly personal. The kitchen is traditional and fresh. Nevertheless needs some small details like, bodylotion in the rooms, proper size of capuchino cups and cold water dipping pond in the sauna area.

You can only find the new sauna area if you ask around. It is poorly described as you have to go through the old sauna area. The outdoor pool is wonderful, the indoor pool is very noisy with many children and you can hardly swim. Dinner is great! With 4 stars one expects liquid soap and conditioner. Fantastic family run luxury hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. Great continental breakfast offering with everything you could hope for including fresh cut meats, fruit, cheese organic bread etc. Also you can have eggs your way. A first class hotel so well appointed and very welcoming

The campsite is getting a bit old. But everything is tidy and you feel good. The staff is nice and helpful. 1 star deduction for the pool opening times 10:00 to 18:00 is a bit short. The water in the pool could also be a little warmer for our well-being. All in all, we can recommend the campsite.

The mobile home has everything you need. Surroundings beautiful. There are fixed routes if you don't take shortcuts. But you can also run well there. Staff very helpful and nice. We felt comfortable all around. We'll definitely be back.

Of course, this is not a 5 star campsite, but the staff make you feel like a welcome guest here. We had problems with the landlord that are actually none of the camping staff's business, and yet the staff tried to please us. Thank you again for that. The pool is perfectly adequate and a nice change, especially in bad weather.

Excellent campsite in a beautiful setting. Sanitary is not brand new but spotless. Reception is welcoming and easy. Good explanation about Covid rules in Bayern. Stayed here for new years eve in the beautiful Bavarian forest. The hotel is not an old castle even if some rooms or an outside view from one angle looks like one. The hotel consists of a main building and some satellites. Some of those are connected by underground tunnel walkways. Some of the satellites like our 4 flat house are rather old and you must walk outside quite a bit to reach the Restaurant...

Nice hotel located in a tiny village in Bavaria near the border or czechia. The rooms are nice but I could not use the shower properly because of the roof. There is WiFi but you have to pay for it and you can only use it in the lobby and restaurants which is a downer. Besides that the food is okay. It is a very nice hotel with a lovely staff, but.. 300 EUR/1 night/2 persons is ridiculously expensive: average (but clean) room, lunch and dinner is nice but not special (for the price), not so nice area at saunas. Great breakfast, great restrooms, lovely cats:)

We have been guests of the Stadler family at the Hotel Hochriegel for many years. Pure relaxation and absolute hospitality. The wonderful new sauna area and a kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired should be emphasized. I'm looking forward to many more years in beautiful Klingenbrunn.

Always worth a visit. Now our second home in Bavaria. The Stadler family knows how to pamper their guests and enable a relaxing stay. Das Angebot für die Kinder (max 8 Jahre) war super. Das Essen war sehr vielfältig und immer lecker.

A great family Hotel, very good service for big and the small members of the family. Really nice spar and they have a lot of activity s for the kids. You can even give them into a Kindergarden if you need sometime just with your partner. I can also recommend the stay for any Tesla driver as you can charge here for free.

The hotel is located in a quiet, nice area, close to a small forest and well situated if your are planning to make other excursions around or simply stay for one night. There is no clear indication when coming by car, so keep your eyes open (or rely on your gps). The hotel is brand new (almost), fresh design and well structured with fantastic area for kids (horse, money, cows, pigs, tractors, pools...

food is great Rooms are nice and ok Service in the restaurant is very nice Hotel complex and so on all very nice Would I go again: nope, because what you read here is unfortunately true and that's poison for a holiday. We were there in 2020. If there were a gentleman nicer the hotel would get 5 stars. You feel like a disruptive factor. Unfortunately. Why so bad mood? Too bad actually

We went with great expectations in this Hotel and were not disappointed. The equipment of the rooms is well thought out and practical. The Service is outstanding. The staff very friendly and empathic. The sauna area is pleasant and invites you to Relax. Also in the outdoor area, trouble-free, like a little hideaway. We will gladly come again.

We were in August 2011, in the Biohotel Playground and it has been absolutely good. I could write whole pages about how beautiful it was there. Even if I wanted to, we could fault nothing. Hotel, staff, food, rooms, Spa, ambient, trip possibility that everything will be perfect. We can recommend a holiday stay. Thank you for letting us be with you to visit

Mich findet man mittlerweile fast nur noch in Unterkünften, in denen es keine Teppichboden mehr gibt. Von daher ist das für mich ein wichtiges Kriterium, welches unser Zimmer erfüllt hat. In unserem Zimmer gab es dazu hochwertige Holzmöbel. Man fühlt sich in den Zimmern wohl und wacht ausgeruht auf.

found this place by accident and glad we did. a bit more than we wanted to pay but definitely worth it. recently refurbished to a very high standard. breakfast buffet was delicious and the owner and his staff very friendly, helpful and professional. we are in the restaurant one night and food was very good. would definitely recommend :-)

The rustic Gottinger has very friendly welcoming staff. We had a back-facing room with a nice terrace, and despite the older style of the lobby and reception, the room itself was very modern and comfortable.
