The heated outdoor pool in January, the sauna and the staff, all first class.

We had a wonderful time in the hotel and restaurant. We were travelling with our 4 months old son. All staff was extremely friendly and kept attention to detail. Travelling with a little child can be challenging and they ease our trip. We will come back 😊

Great Hotel directly on the lake of Constance. Breakfast as well as restaurant are excellent and located directly on the lakefront. Wellness area was clean and well equipped with fruit and beverages. Clear recommendation!

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay. The room was very nice and spacious and the location is right on the lake top. Breakfast and 4-course dinner, we were able to take outside on the terrace, were delicious. We will be back :-).

Far exceeded my expectations. The location is great, right on the lake. The hotel is vast but not a cramped beehive, the rooms were large, well-equipped, and comfortable. Immaculately clean. Food was high quality and there was a huge amount of it. Secure parking. Very good service, friendly multi-lingual staff.

Really nice views and atmosphere but very stressed personnel. They blocked our card to the room 15 minutes before checkout and they start removing the breakfast 5-10 minutes before closing and are constantly on your table telling you they close in something like 10 minutes but they actually close in 20.

The hotel is very nice. Great breakfast and nice downtown area in a small town. The rooms do not have air conditioning, so keep that in mind depending on the part of the year.

Great location in the heart of the beautiful town of Überlingen. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. 24 hour car park available (15 euro max/24 hour period at time of booking) around 7 minutes walk from hotel. You are able to drop and pick up luggage at the hotel door which is in a pedestrian zone, no problem. Town is easily walkable everywhere. Good restaurants are all nearby.

Nice, modern hotel with an attached restaurant where breakfast is served in the morning. The hotel is located directly at the train station. With the window closed, the trains could not be heard. The lakeshore is just a few minutes' walk away. The on-site team is very friendly and courteous and responded quickly to my emails when I made the booking.

Super friendly receptionist. A modern and comfortable hotel, the room had a huge shower and was squeaky clean. There are locked boxes for the bicycles. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for two days during the main season.

Stayed for a long weekend and had 2 double rooms. Loved one of the rooms with superb views on Lake Constance. The other room was ok, no views, recently refurbished but not as nice as the other one. On upside, the hotel was very flexible to arrange an extra bed to accommodate our 7 year old kid. Breakfast was good and included in room rate, only bottleneck were the coffee machines. Our room was big enough and, above all, clean. The breakfast buffet is very extensive, varied and fresh. Everything you need is offered. We never experienced anything being empty for more than a few minutes. The staff constantly keeps an eye on the tables and the buffet and is very accommodating and friendly. We had the most amazing hotel stay ever here! Sadly we only stayed one night but it was the night of our first wedding anniversary. I booked a special panoramic lake view room however they surprised us with an upgrade to a lake view suite and oh my goodness the views were breathtaking! The suite was gorgeous and huge, with a huge tub, lots of space, huge windows and 2 balconies overlooking the lake...

The area is worth a trip, many beautiful and interesting towns nearby, but a car is necessary! We were greeted very friendly and that was not artificial friendliness, but came from the heart. The guy at the reception was so nice and helpful, I wish all hotels had this kind. You get free train / bus around the lake (german side). There is a private beach (no sand) open 24/7, table tennis , giant chess, and kids stuff.

The view was amazing but I recommend this place for families and not couples or groups of friends since there isn't much to do in and around the property. It does make for a good break from the city life though

The hotel exceeds expectations! Design, all in excellent condition, new furniture! The food is good, cleaning every day, beach! For children even has its own programme of evening, children's Playground, respectively, but many families with children! Suggest!!!!

Love the unique Aloha theme in this boutique hotel conveniently located outside of Konstanz and other area points of interest (Mainau Insel). Restaurant was delicious, rooms were large, clean and very comfortable, parking garage on site was a plus.

Super equipped and nice and cool with the air conditioning in summer. The bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen are particularly good. The "Samba Staircase" is a little bit adventurous and can easily hurt yourself. The star deduction is there for the fact that there is no pool and a table tennis table, you can expect that in this price range. All in all, it is very recommendable.

The apartments are very modern equipped - even with air conditioning - very high standard. Defects: Too few and too narrow parking spaces. In addition, a few basic things are missing, such as a table tennis table. A small pool would also be desirable in this price range.

And here are the reasons why I didn't give 5 stars: - this isn't a good location for vegetarians and even worse for vegans (fur pillows at the entrance 😐, only one vegetarian option, no vegan) - not a good location for kids (No toy corner or a playground). But breastfeeding is not a problem 😊.

Friendly traditional German hotel in a superb location. Had a one bedroom apartment with a balcony. It was dated but clean with minimum cooking facilities but enough for our stay. Good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Hotel Knaus is an older Hotel directly at the sports harbour. We had the suite under the roof which is a pretty spacious flat that easily accommodates 4 people and offers a terrace with a great view over Lake Constance.

Great hotel at a great location. Five minutes walking distance to the pier serving various ferries including one to Mainau. Pretty good breakfast selection (scrambled eggs, bread, cold cut meats, cereal, fruits, and more). The attached restaurant also serves pretty good dishes. Internet access intermittently available in the room, and when connected, speeds were not sufficient to support Skype calls...

we visited as a family. our kids had a blast with all the possible activities, pool, great food. also we had some time in the spa… simply perfect. it’s within walking distance to the lake… very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, we loved it. it was a wonderful stay.

But three things were standing out in today’s visit: 1.) although it was very busy and many guests queuing in front of the restaurant the service was friendly and efficient. We had almost no waiting time for being served, getting drinks and even food arrived in only 20 mins. 2.) though it was busy a young waiter dropped a tray with drinks...

They helped with recommendations on transit and what to do as well as ordering a pizza over the phone for us with our limited German and the pizza place only speaking limited English. Aqua hotel has very friendly staff that make one feel at home and offers a kids friendly environment. They offer a very good breakfast buffet with a lot variety (including avocados every morning!). The front desk is very nice. The hotel is not in the city center but they will give you a bus voucher which takes only about ten minutes and can be used for two days. Although we didn't use it, hahaha. There are Aldi, Lidl and gas stations around. Parking is free, which is very good. The room is big and the breakfast is OK. Recommended for self-driving. I love Lake Constance so much!

Super nice to sit outside on the terrace by the water and enjoy the great service of the house. This hotel met expectations for a one-star hotel — everything is very basic. It’s an Ibis “Budget”. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep in. Reception service was also very basic and not particularly friendly.

I was very happy during my stay at Ibis Budget Konstanz/DE. The room is spacious, although you cannot expect full facilities for a budget hotel. For example, there is not water kettle available for the guests, the window is actually a window door that can only be reclined, not opened. The bathroom is comfortable because it has a large sink and vast space all around it to deposit your toiletries...

I thought somehow the room was shared by people but actually it was for the individual, that was a good surprise. The breakfast is buffe style.

A standard hotel with good value for money. Far from the city center, and check-in is complicated after 10 p.m. because the reception is closed. The reservation number I had didn't work. There's an emergency number you have to call to get a new one.

It took around 20-30 minutes to arrive at the hotel from the train station by taking bus 6. The hotel is comfortable and affordable if you're on a budget or just stay for a night. They offer breakfast, the bus station is near, supermarket like norma and Kaufland is abt 300 meters from the hotel, and you also have McDonald's and burger king just near it.

The room is a standard chain hotel. As a hotel for independent travelers, the area is large enough and worth recommending. The location is also quiet in a bustling city, and there is a supermarket nearby, which is worth recommending.

The hardware is a bit old, with only reception service at the front desk (pay the card directly when checking out). Breakfast is extra, and the price/performance ratio is not high. Maybe it is closer to Switzerland. The hotel gave us a 2-day ticket and we went to the town for a walk, mainly for the lake view and shopping. Not recommended to stay here

This was a good place to stay as home base for a few days of diving. They kindly let us dry our gear in the nearby shed and the food was good enough to keep us coming back every night.

The angus burger was amazing!! It is smoky, juicy, one of the most satisfying burger I have ever had. It is shame that we already had dinner so we were able to eat only a burger as a dessert 🤪 I could have ordered and eaten a lot more food. I highly recommend this resto!!

We booked a superior room, but we didn't like the room (it was dark and next to the elevator). We had to pay €88 per night for a deluxe room.
