Phantastic view over Lake Constance from our balcony

Our third stop for the Missus and I along with our Canadian Westcoast cycling group was the Parkhotel St. Leonhard. The hotel was located on a property high enough to have a fabulous view of Lake Constance. Check-in went smoothly with a very friendly and helpful reception. The rooms were very clean and spacious.

Thank you for the front desk for making special arrangements to squeeze our group in for the early dinner session. After a long hard day of cycling, we were all famished. The food and service was a 10/10. Also the breakfast buffet available in two rooms was excellent with many food options.

We all agreed it was definitely our favourite stay on our Lake Constance cycling journey. It’s challenging to ride uphill most of the way to the hotel but the reward at the end was worth it.

Beautiful hotel with a view of the lake. The booked double room has a beautiful view of Lake Constance. The room and other areas used were very clean. The breakfast was great and the dinner was a dream every day. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. For us it was the best decision to stay not just one night but for several days. So the stay for us was just relaxing and we could enjoy the days. We will recommend the hotel to others and will definitely visit it again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

This is a beautiful and well-kept hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The food, venison with spaetzle, was very tasty. The beautiful view of the lake and the Swiss mountains completed the experience.

Stayed for a long weekend and had 2 double rooms. Loved one of the rooms with superb views on Lake Constance. The other room was ok, no views, recently refurbished but not as nice as the other one. On upside, the hotel was very flexible to arrange an extra bed to accommodate our 7 year old kid. Breakfast was good and included in room rate, only bottleneck were the coffee machines. Staff is very nice. Overall very pleasant stay

A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. Staff was all very friendly, though despite us speaking German and English, at times there were some language-based communication challenges with restaurant staff that could be improved. Our family also very much liked the breakfast buffet.

It was super easy to grab a bus at a nearby bus stop to head down into town and enjoy the promenade.

If there would be two things I'd love to see improve, it would be dedicated smoking / non-smoking sections for the restaurant's terrace. Like us, I noticed several other guests being disturbed by other guests smoking and taking away from what is otherwise a great outside breakfast and dining experience.
The second thing, which I recognize will not be easy and certainly isn't a fault of the hotel / staff, would be to find a way to keep wasps at bay. There were plenty of wasps disturbing guests--including our kids--and it also took away from the experience while eating on the terrace.

This was our first stay here and surely not our last--we look forward to coming back to this property!

Very clean. Friendly staff and great service. Awesome breakfast buffet and bar. Terrace available for breakfast or just relax with a cup of coffee or a drink. Large, comfortable rooms with balcony. Awesome view from balcony over the Bodensee. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it.
