a great location with very friendly personnel. I can heartily recommend taking the diner at the castle!
The staff is really sweet and helpful. They went the extra mile to make our stay with our baby more comfortable. Location is good, the onsite restaurant serves great food. Old school charm and very clean
Nice setting. Had a lovely caesar salad there. Friendly staff.
Interesting concept, we were in the tower suite and it was a very large and clean room. The view was nice too. However for what you get, I feel it's too expensive. The breakfast was OK, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt, fruits and muesli style cereal. The only cooked item was scrambled egg or a boiled egg. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was tasty and cooked well, but again nothing special...
Lovely hotel with some authentic and beautiful rooms.

The view from the aparthotel is stunning. The size of it (2 actually separate bedrooms, bathroom, extra separate toilet, living, dining, breakfast areas, kitchen and terrace! You get access to the pool, which the children really enjoyed. The restaurant had delicious food (loved the wild mushroom soup ad starters) and the service was great!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food very good. Accommodation worn out and wellness could get an upgrade. No wifi in our room despite announced.
Room was big, but a little bit old, bathroom was very nice. Food and beer also pretty good! Pool, sauna and sitting outside....perfect...The environment is beautiful. Take a walk to Grüne Holle.
The hotel is in a nicely isolated country side. The scenery is beautiful even in the rain. The suite rooms were nice. The bathroom was nice with Whirlpool bath. The decor makes it look like from the 70s but it actually seems very recently renovated. Floor heating and spacious. But the colour scheme of the kitchen is a bit too retro looking. The location is close to the Luxembourg border. Things I...
Great service, nice people food and also great view!! Room was very big so nothing to complain,
Lovely stay in this hotel. Very nice breakfast and good dining options. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the small valley. Great location.

The week there was very relaxing. Thanks to the guided hikes, yoga classes in the morning, hot sauna and large relaxation room. Quiet location with a view of the Saur valley. Echternach is close and worth seeing. You can book alkaline fasting in the hotel. Nutritional lectures and various massages. The audience is international. Owners also speak NL, French, Luxembourgish.
We enjoyed the very nicest lady (84 years old) and her husband (86) who is a cook, and who still knows how to prepare a delicious meal. The son is just as friendly and helpful. We would definitely book here again for a week.
Hotel at the end of a hill, near the 'Youth Hostel', JugendHeberge; Nice hotel, good facilities, impossible to locate without GPS, cooperative staff, good breakfast. Gesund +
The hospitality and help with planning bike routes is very good. Regional cuisine and always freshly prepared. Agriculture, a dream. The Luxembourg border in the middle of the Sauer river. Simply very beautiful. The hop growing nearby is worth seeing
Quiet, peaceful, comfortabele. Helpful personell. Furniture old fashioned. Wifi only at lounge.

Inexpensive, hospitality was great! Would love to come back during the summer...well hiden treasure in the valley of Bitburg

Simple, neat, clean, quiet, awesome views, friendly staff! Got to love nature and walking. Well worth it! -1 star as its rather dated -1 star as the kitchenette wasnt what was expected (small)
Top Notch for long stays. Dorint Apartments are great. The staff is wonderful. Most can converse in English. I'd stay here again & again. Breakfast is the best. Bar, restaurants, squash courts, bowling alley, pool, sauna, small gym. Highly recommended.

Very nice upscale hotel close to the city center. Great steak house onsite (Kobe beef is excellent). On site spa and wellness. Outside terrace. Covered onsite paid parking.
Few breakfast options, right in the city center, many attractions nearby, such as the Great Black Gate and Marx's former residence
Beautiful modern hotel right on the edge of the old city center. Staff was super friendly and helpful!
Hands down, THE place to stay when in Trier ! Location is amazing - right in the heart of the old centre with easy parking and delightful shops and walking street just a stone's through from the property. The courtyard restaurant, with its comfy seating, selection of finest beef, including Kobe, fine wines, is a highlight in the region. Service is highly professional on all levels.

nice and clean. I booked a room through booking.com, and I arrived late after midnight. I was surprised by the kindness of the receptionist or the owner. I don't know frankly. She was very helpful and nice and the best thing about the hotel is its very reasonable price.
Ok, organisation could be smoother

A very nice staff! Above all, we really liked the quiet at breakfast because it wasn't overcrowded! The rooms were spot on too! We think the bathroom with a window is great! The hotel is also absolutely great! The only thing that has to be done is that the front of the hotel has to be made more inviting, because at first it was a deterrent! Otherwise everything is good :)
Very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located less than a 10-minute walk from the Porta Negra and all the shops, restaurants etc you could want/need. My only gripe is that the rooms don't have fans. Our room was quite warm. Not that we watched a lot of TV, but FYI - there was only one English-speaking channel (BBC Channel 37). The room booklet had outdated TV channel information. The breakfast was...

Very friendly and personal reception. The room and bathroom were very large and clean! Very close to the center!
Although only one night booked, but a warm welcome. The location to the hospital in Trier and to the centre of Trier is very good. In particular, the window had it done to us. We had a room under the roof (gable). Also feng shui was seen. We come back to shape from there.

I stayed for 4 nights, alone for a business trip. Great experience. The staff is extremely friendly. The location is fantastic. Clean. Neat. All the best recommendations. I had a late check-in at 1am and everything went smoothly.
An okay hotel. I choose it because parking is easy, and the location is convenient. However, the rooms are dull, and cleanliness is often unsatisfactory. I frequently encounter hair in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good.
Excellent hotel, as expected from Mercure. The room was clean and welcoming. Good view. Service was okay but not excellent. The hotel restaurant opens from 17:00 so just dinner. Excellent location for tourists. The rooms are not soundproofed but understandable due to its old building. Overall a great place to stay for a night or two for travel.
We appreciated the location of the hotel which is opposite Porta Nigra. The underground parking makes the stay very convenient for us. It would be even better if there were electric vehicle chargers. If you arrive at night you will not easily find the entrance to the hotel as it is dimly lit. The rooms aren't bad for one night. Receptionist Marlene was very rude. His treatment was very dismissive at the time of checking out.
I was very impressed with the personell, the rooms and the breakfast. When I arrived, I was friendly welcomed and they were very helpful with my questions. My room was comfortable and clean the entire five days that I was a quest at the hotel. The hotel is a ways from the center of Trier but there are numerous buses that stop in front of the hotel and this made no problem with getting around the city...
The front desk is quite welcoming. The location is average. I don't care about these when I'm on a business trip.
Good hotel close to the centre. In my opinion they should be giving double size duvet and two pillows for double bed (instead of single) and there should be a kettle in the room. Overall great staff and good facilities.
Extremely rude male receptionist, insulting guest. I never met with such a behaviour. Rooms are nice, beds comfortable.
New hotel, very comfortable. It's a pity that the restaurant of a larger hotel only serves breakfast. Most of the people who come to stay here are traveling by car. They are tired from traveling all day and don't want to go out to find restaurants to eat. But because this hotel restaurant does not serve dinner, it is a bit regretful.

As always, good B&B quality. A small fridge and safe in the room would be great.
Our family room reservation was canceled without prior notification. We were then given two double rooms, which were located directly above the smoking area near the entrance and, despite being non-smoking, smelled strongly of stale smoke. Very unpleasant for non-smokers and children.

Ecomony stay for family. Comfortable beds. Rewe shopping mall just 4min by walk. We had breakfats there with warm bakery. ~20-30 min by walk o the old town.
All in all the stay was mediocre. We ordered a room with three beds and for one night we definitely had enough space. Unfortunately only one bed had a power outlet right next to it. For the British visitor this hotel is a German experience in the very best sense. The rooms are spotless and decorated in a charming, homely style. The restaurant is excellent and the beer quite superb. The service is excellent and friendly. The only small snag is that it is a little away from the centre but there is a local bus service and good parking so this is a minor issue.
I recently stayed at Blesius Garten and, while the experience was decent overall, there were some downsides.
