Located in the quiet part of the city center the hotel is well organized. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of fresh bread, coffee, scrambled eggs and baked beans. The room was almost perfectly clean, only a small stain on the toilet seat and something sticking in the sink ruined the perfect impression.

From the first day everything went badly. First of all our room wasn't cleaned-we found hairs on the pillows and it was really disgusting. Thanks for amazing employee we could change the room. We asked to clean our room just only one time and this wasn't completed properly. Shower gel and soap bottles were empty. I can't understand why it is so difficult to change it to full bottles? I went to reception to told that, but employee said that it is normal in her opinion, just a mistake.no excuses, nothi g. She was really rude and such persons like she can't work with clients. Finally she gave me skower gel and soap, but she was very rude doing that. In her opinion I asked something whatI shouldn't get. It is insane how workers like she can workin reception. Next day I tried to talk to General manger but I couldn't find her. I told everything to other woman in reception, but I am not sure that she told anybody.. such an "amazing view" to customers! Breakfast was untasty and there were just a small choise of food. You eat like in canteen, not in hotel. By the way employee never greets you, it seems that you owe something when you meet them. One of the worst experience.

This was a nice hotel with updated rooms, in a convenient part of town. The highlight, however, was the staff!
We had nothing but a great experience with the employees from the first moment. Check in was so friendly, and helped us get rooms next to each other. We also had a friendly interaction with a staff member at breakfast! They taught my son how to make a flower out of a napkin, and it was very sweet and fun.
Rooms were clean, and breakfast was a great variety with a nice coffee machine. I would stay again!

This isn't a fancy hotel, but for the price it is clean and comfortable. I stayed here while handling some paperwork in Luxembourg, and it was perfect for me. I had a nice stay, enjoyed the breakfasts, and found myself right in the middle of Trier for some sightseeing.

Together with my two sons (9 and 11) we stayed at this friendly hotel in the centre of Trier. Perfect location – we were able to visit all the highlights while walking. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast buffet. We had a very pleasant and relaxed stay!

The room is big, but there's no fridge, no kettle, no amenities for bathroom, no slipper, no glass / cup, no tea/coffee.. I just don't understand, it feels like staying in hostel but private room.. I stayed in Ibis Saigon and they had all those things eventho the room was small.. Soo, definitely not recommended

While Trier was not our favorite city this hotel was a very pleasant suprise. The ibis Styles is new to us and it now a chain we will seek out. The rooms were HUGE with very thoughtful additions, like a fold away writing desk and suitcase stand. The only issue we had with this location was that the bikes were not locked away in a garage but in a corner behind the hotel. While they were fine the situation did cause some bike angst.

The originally-assigned room has some ventilation noise problem and the staffs help us out immediately. The place is well-located in the Trier old town area so we had a great experience roaming around the city. The only pity is the air-co system is not quite functional, so, it is a bit stuffy at the beginning. Once we opened the windows it got a bit better.

Excellent modern and clean hotel (think business casual) inserted inside a 19th century post office building. Located a couple of blocks off the Hauptmarkt (chief market square), if is central to all of Trier's points of interest. Price is reasonable considering the excellent location. Breakfast is available for extra cost. Parking is available but limited. Free wifi for guests. Many restaurant, eating, and drinking options are located close by.
