Together with my two sons (9 and 11) we stayed at this friendly hotel in the centre of Trier. Perfect location – we were able to visit all the highlights while walking. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast buffet. We had a very pleasant and relaxed stay!

The room is big, but there's no fridge, no kettle, no amenities for bathroom, no slipper, no glass / cup, no tea/coffee.. I just don't understand, it feels like staying in hostel but private room.. I stayed in Ibis Saigon and they had all those things eventho the room was small.. Soo, definitely not recommended

While Trier was not our favorite city this hotel was a very pleasant suprise. The ibis Styles is new to us and it now a chain we will seek out. The rooms were HUGE with very thoughtful additions, like a fold away writing desk and suitcase stand. The only issue we had with this location was that the bikes were not locked away in a garage but in a corner behind the hotel. While they were fine the situation did cause some bike angst.

The originally-assigned room has some ventilation noise problem and the staffs help us out immediately. The place is well-located in the Trier old town area so we had a great experience roaming around the city. The only pity is the air-co system is not quite functional, so, it is a bit stuffy at the beginning. Once we opened the windows it got a bit better.

Excellent modern and clean hotel (think business casual) inserted inside a 19th century post office building. Located a couple of blocks off the Hauptmarkt (chief market square), if is central to all of Trier's points of interest. Price is reasonable considering the excellent location. Breakfast is available for extra cost. Parking is available but limited. Free wifi for guests. Many restaurant, eating, and drinking options are located close by.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel. Even though we had to search a little bit to find the parking with the roadworks in progress. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The maxi-bar was a daily stop and the free coffee/tea and apples were much appreciated. Rooms were clean and spacious.

When you are at the address of the hotel it's quite a challenge finding the reception.
The hotel is right in the center of town with most sights within walking distance.
The rooms are clean and modern and the beds are comfortable.
The staff is German and English speaking.
Good place to stay for a night or a week.

... I came back 1 year later and check-in precedures haven't changed. Obviously the management promises but doesn't deliver. I gave it a second chance, there will be no 3rd, Melanie!...
The hotel is spot on in the city center. Rooms are small but designed in a way that the desk folds in giving you more space. Very nice idea regarding the donation for every night that went without cleaning my room. Unfortunately checking in is a disaster. You need to fill out and sign 4x pieces of paper! Yes, 4!... Way too bureaucratic, time consuming, and unhygienic (people gather inside to fill everything out, pens are passed around without desinfecting). Then you need to pay in full. Check-in should be the easiest thing but instead this hotel doesn't get it right. Parking was full on both days we stayed here

Very nice hotel in the city center. We have the family room and its pretty big. Other hotels offer 2 rooms for 4 people
