Super nice hotel with a great winter garden and perfect location. Only 500m from the ski slope in the snow. The hotel has a nice view of the mountains and a good breakfast. To recommend !

The food in the restaurant is very tasty, especially the small schnitzel with potatoes. The atmosphere is friendly and soulful. On the day of departure, my mom and I got ice cream and coffee on the house. Many thanks.

We stayed in hotel Berwanger Hof for a week. For some time together for the two of us. And as a base for cycling tours around the Allgäu. The place is great. Very nice location: quit, with a wonderful view. Nice spa (to relax after cycling or treat yourself to wonderful, professional massages). Amazing food. And everybody here is super nice and attentive. Simply everything we hoped for.

Everything was very nice and well taken care of. The Hotel has a lot of small details for the guests that make the stay really enjoyable. The wellness area is wonderful with a dim lighting that helps to get into relaxation mood and wonderful views to the mountains. A special thanks to the restaurant crew for always having alternatives for people with food intolerances. We will definitely come back

Water lounge with resting area (with hammocks and beds) is very extraordinary and relaxing. All the details are taken care of. Very well maintained, super good organized ( they clean your room when you are at breakfast , so you are not disturb later in your leisure time) and clean hotel.

We spent a few nights at the Alpenhotel as a family with our young son. Our stay was just a dream. The kitchen is excellent, we haven't eaten so well in a long time. The staff is very friendly and tries to fulfill every wish. We would definitely book again.

A very nicely renovated house. Top modern apartment. Super WLan supply. Fly screens on the windows, handicraft room, bicycle cellar, ski cellar, laundry room, washing machine and dryer, sauna, whirlpool, breakfast... what more could you want. The host families are very friendly, courteous and try to make everything possible. The hosts are also good sources of information as tourist information.

This is the second time we have stayed in the very nice Talwind apartment. The size is perfect for 2 people, because the balcony is really big. Ms. Schratt is always very hard and super friendly, you just feel good. We'd love to come back

We really liked it in the sun room. Decor and furniture looked very new, the beds were very comfortable. The bread service that is offered is great. We also felt comfortable in the small sauna in the basement of the house. All in all, it was a great starting point for us to explore the region.

I loved my stay in Alpenhotel Oberstdorf, Outside the town, for relaxing time to spend. Room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was a wide range of food, which I liked. It is advertised as a four star which I would say is correct for the breakfast buffe (fresh honeycomb was a really nice touch!) and spa area but not for the rooms. These are more of three star quality. The locations is in a tiny quiet village two km away from Oberstdorf which you can walk to if you want.

Second time here. I love this resort. It’s truly in a beautiful location and has an incredible spa. Dining is a bit expensive but worth it. Take time to hike around the region. Live music in the evenings is a bonus!

Sport hotel with class! A great hotel, a bit outside of Oberstdorf. But there is a bus right outside the hotel. It takes only a couple of minutes - and you get a card from the hotel - so no charge. Huge breakfast buffet, lovely staff and a really nice spa area. The hotel bar was also great. The only minus was that my room was in a corner and the amazing view from the balcony was a bit blocked.

What a fab family run hotel nestled in the mountains of Oberstdorf. Even had a pool that we could use anytim day or night. The staff were sooooo friendly and we sat up at the bar chatting to them after our meal. Which was lovely and great value

The hotel is quietly located on the outskirts with a wonderful view of the meadows and mountains. You can walk to the center in about 10 minutes. We stayed at the Gerberhof for one night and had a cozy and very clean room in the country house, we immediately felt at home. The whole hotel is very well maintained and family run, there is a small but nice indoor swimming pool. The breakfast is rich, varied and really very good. We didn't miss anything and we can recommend the hotel without reservation, we will definitely come back!

Das Hotel Engel ist ein sehr persönlich geführtes Hotel. Es ist zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Auf individuelle Wünsche wird gerne eingegangen. Die Zimmer sind modern und dennoch gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, bietet regionale, frische Produkte und ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Frau Engel ist bei Fragen immer ansprechbar, das Personal äußerst freundlich.

Good hotel with nice views, good breakfast and near the village centrum. Kind and service minded staff. Unfortunately I forgot my swim shorts (A pair of CK) in the pool/sauna area. The staff couldn't find it so somebody has stolen them. So beware of pick pockets!
