It is advertised as a four star which I would say is correct for the breakfast buffe (fresh honeycomb was a really nice touch!) and spa area but not for the rooms. These are more of three star quality. The locations is in a tiny quiet village two km away from Oberstdorf which you can walk to if you want.

Please note: only reviewing the restaurant, since I didn't spend the night here. Service is written with capital letters here. Very attentive staff. Food is generally good, but lacks a little bit of uniqueness compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood. The restaurant looks and feels more modern compared to other local places which is a nice refreshing experience. Can recommend!

The hotel was a very nice Alpine hotel. The breakfast in the morning was so nice. A big selection and very well cooked and prepared. Omelets to order, pancakes, local cheeses, coffee bar and lots more. The options for the kids was so nice. A lovely indoor pool, indoor play gym, games, pool table, air hockey table, outdoor play area. It was very nice touches especially with kids. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was helpful and assisted us with the language and provided us ideas to sightsee. The srea is amazing. Hiking, the gorge, the small towns....just perfect. We were very happy with the hotel and our visit to the area.

The employees there are not treated well. They look tired and sad.

Went here on vacation a little while back and still thinking about how bad management was. We got the wrong room we booked and when asking about the issue they said it was not their fault that we got the wrong room. Id never stay here again unless management changes. the staff that worked there were nice and helpful.

The organisation to avoid Covid contact was remarkable. And the food was delicious.
