We stayed in hotel Berwanger Hof for a week. For some time together for the two of us. And as a base for cycling tours around the Allgäu. The place is great. Very nice location: quit, with a wonderful view. Nice spa (to relax after cycling or treat yourself to wonderful, professional massages). Amazing food. And everybody here is super nice and attentive. Simply everything we hoped for.

Super nice hotel owners who are very attentive and hospitable. The breakfast was very GOOD, the fruit fresh, cheese and sausage of good quality, the daily Schmank'l is also recommended. The rooms are clean and comfortable and everything you need is there. The price for bed and breakfast is completely reasonable. In summary a lovely family run hotel, highly recommended.

Beware of the free WiFi: they only give you access to one device per person (or is it two per room?) and it's one of those extremely annoying internet systems where you need to keep everything a password to their website each day. We were here at the end of September Small, fine, clean hotel in a beautiful location, nice and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was also really good, everything was available and if something was missing it was quickly refilled. We were in the new building and had a really nice room with a wonderful view. We would be happy to come back.

The food in the restaurant is very tasty, especially the small schnitzel with potatoes. The atmosphere is friendly and soulful. On the day of departure, my mom and I got ice cream and coffee on the house. Many thanks.

Fantastic authentic Bavarian hotel and restaurant with great views of Nebelhorn! Indoor pool, beautiful sauna and outdoor seating next to their own stream with mountain views. The food was great and the service friendly and attentive! Would definitely recommend to others!

It’s a fine hotel with a very nice view when you have a room on the south site. Rooms are clean, spacious and wel equipped. The food is very good. Friendly people, and good for walking and biking.

This truly is the most beautiful Bavarian experience. We have stayed here twice on our travels to Germany. Lovely hotel and wonderful staff. Food was outstanding.

Die Lage war ruhig und angenehm. Es waren fast keine Kinder im Haus. Das Frühstück war ab dem 3 Tag langweilig, da es nichts Neues bot. Jeden Tag den selben Joghurt und die selben Käsesorten. Kein zum sofortigen Verzehr zubereitetes Obst.

We had a really good stay for a week. The staff was very kind and paid the utmost attention to our wellbeing. They also served the food without lactose for me.

We stayed here two nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious, clean and the breakfast on the terrace in the sun was a highlight! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

I can only agree with the positive reviews. The small but subtle difference to the restaurants in Downtown-Fischen is that here the tables are only allocated once per evening! So you really eat (the very tasty trout) in peace! We would love to come back.

The hotel is oldfashioned, at least spotlessly clean. The welcome was not warm either. Apart from a nice breakfast and a lovely lady serving us there was not much one would come back for. Maybe the nature around.

Very cozy family run hotel. The rooms are clean, the view is gigantic, the sauna area with fitness invites you to relax. Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but we will definitely come again. The Vesper was delicious.

Everything was very nice and well taken care of. The Hotel has a lot of small details for the guests that make the stay really enjoyable. The wellness area is wonderful with a dim lighting that helps to get into relaxation mood and wonderful views to the mountains. A special thanks to the restaurant crew for always having alternatives for people with food intolerances. We will definitely come back

Water lounge with resting area (with hammocks and beds) is very extraordinary and relaxing. All the details are taken care of. Very well maintained, super good organized ( they clean your room when you are at breakfast , so you are not disturb later in your leisure time) and clean hotel.

I loved my stay in Alpenhotel Oberstdorf, Outside the town, for relaxing time to spend. Room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was a wide range of food, which I liked. My family of 4 stayed here while visiting for the event where they bring the cows down from the mountain. It was our first experience staying at Hostel. The place was very clean but tight room space. The staff was nice. A few things in our bathroom were broken and breakfast was so crowded we had no where to sit. They were also doing construction so parking was tricky. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. The infrastructure is really good and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a proper meal. Great place. Stayed there with my family for 1 night but really enjoyed it. Rooms are basic, but bright, modern and clean. Overall facility has all u need... kitchen, media room with PlayStation, fireplace, outdoor soccer and basketball etc. Breakfast ist great and so is the location.

It's relatively far (one hour walk and buses every once in a while) from the actual town of oberstdorf. Otherwise perfect stay, perfect staff and a great experience.

Very basic for the price..most Hotels in that price range provide basic toiletries, only hand wash in the bathroom, nice continental breakfast, bar area nice polite & helpfull staff, and Mcdonalds is only across the road 😀

Very personal, private guesthouse with cozy rooms, delicious breakfast and an attractive location right next to the Breitachklamm and only 15 minutes by car from the Nebelhornbahn and 25 minutes from the Fellhornbahn.

We were here in August 2020. Everything was wonderful. We would have liked real rolls for breakfast. Unfortunately, there were only Aufbackweckle, which were then rock hard. Pity!

We had a ground floor room facing the parking lot. The room was not cleaned during the stay (Fri-Sun). Reception very friendly, luggage storage on the day of departure possible. Breakfast selection plentiful. Sauna small but sufficient for summer.

It is advertised as a four star which I would say is correct for the breakfast buffe (fresh honeycomb was a really nice touch!) and spa area but not for the rooms. These are more of three star quality. The locations is in a tiny quiet village two km away from Oberstdorf which you can walk to if you want.

Food is generally good, but lacks a little bit of uniqueness compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood. The restaurant looks and feels more modern compared to other local places which is a nice refreshing experience. Can recommend!
