The best staff I have ever had help us! We showed up late and they still served us dinner and made us warm drink too warm up after 12 hours on bicycle! Room was great and we slept amazingly also! Breakfast was just as good. Fresh food and drinks and even cooked extra and special request! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Situated right on the Mosela cykling road, pro biker oriented, meal very tasty and big portions, kind staff, rooms small but clean.

We stayed here last summer and it was splendid. The rooms are clean, spacious and offer beautiful views. The receptionists are too kind. We bought loads of wine and insisted on helping us putting it in the trunk. On top of that, we came back to Bernkastel this week and wanted to buy some wine again. We stayed here in late August on our first day in Germany after a long trip from the UK. This hotel vineyard was truly amazing, what a gorgeous place it is. From the moment we arrived we got a lovely welcome from the lady host of the hotel and she helped out in English when needed . This place is wonderful! Already on our first visit we made reservations here for our last evening. It was a breath of fresh air how the plates were presented. We made it taste excellent the first day. They were two nicely prepared, spacious, fresh salads. It is a spacious location on the Nutspad. There is an indoor and outdoor spaces. It is also important to make a reservation here. Below average food at a premium price. Steak (ordered medium) was tasteless and tough as an old boot. Wines are good but very pricey compared to similar wines in the region.

Hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin, die Sauberkeit und das hochwertige Frühstück. Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert. Bei den Betten handelt es sich um zwei Einzelbetten, die zusammengestellt waren. Von der Terrasse hat man einen grandiosen Blick auf die Weinberge am anderen Moselufer. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Beautiful wine tasting. While we were drinking, the vintner was able to show us the mountains where that particular grape variety grows. Freshly baked pretzels were served over and over again during the wine tasting. The winemaker responded to individual requests and showed a sense of humor. Beautiful in the sunset on the expansive terrace in the garden in early summer.

We were there with friends last year (September). We were allowed to try a lot of great wines and had a nice and fun evening with the family with a wonderful view of the vineyards. We have recently bought wine again and can highly recommend the rose wine (among others). It tastes really fruity, has a great color and is perfect for summer. This definitely deserves more than 5 stars. We are looking forward...

We had a very personal wine tasting in the beautiful garden with a beautiful view of the vineyards. The wine list is extensive. The wine tastes fabulous. The host family gave us a very warm welcome. Full 5 stars!

In the most lovely and fastest way, the eloquent staff created a bunch of flower within a reasonable price range. A small beautiful shop with a great selection of flowers and plants and if you need help selecting what is right for your loved ones, the staff is most friendly and creative.

Nice hotel for sleeping with breakfast, beautiful area for cycling and walking around the Moselle

Our conclusion: Moselle and Brauneberg, gladly again. The view of the Moselle and the vineyards is great. The hostess is tried hard, the breakfast was not outstanding but ok. Unfortunately, the bed linen and towels were already quite worn and the TV was more than small, so it was not possible to watch relaxed in the evening.

The mattresses were very good and it was clean, the chairs weren't suitable for sitting and we didn't want to use the parking lot

We were lucky and asked if there was anything else available. There was exactly one room left, it was very small, but we were told that from the start. And was great for staying overnight. The breakfast was very rich and plentiful. All in all a very great overnight stay. We'd love to come back.

Rooms functional but perfectly adequate. Great garden for the evening nightcap. Food very tasty and cheap. Motorbikes can be parked in the yard.

I was the only guest and the host set up an entire breakfast buffet just for me, it was delicious!

Walking distance from the Schloss Lieser Autograph hotel, my husband and I had dinner here. We sat outside, enjoyed a couple of snitzels, local wine and beer. The wait staff were very polite in helping us order since the menu was in German and didn't make us feel out of place.

Restaurant review only - exceptionally friendly staff in a homely atmosphere. The food is very nice; not ‘haute cuisine’ but honest, tasty and at a friendly price. Their Wine of The Week, a blanc de noir vom Spätburginder was a smashing hit. We came back a second night during our stay in Lieser and were not disappointed!

Raatz is a typical German restaurant, sitting on a very beautiful place next to the Mosel. Gave it 4 stars because of the service, but the food is probably 3 stars. The food was fine. Not brilliant, but okay considering the price. The menu wasn't very extensive, but the items the had we're pretty okay. The only thing I didn't understand as a foreigner was the fact that they only had the Schnitzel...

We stayed here one night for the wine festival. We liked it very much. The rooms were very neat and clean. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

We were greeted by very hospitable hosts and the room was bright and comfortable with a great view of the village below.

We had the pleasure to stay with this wonderful family in the wine area of the Mosl. The pictures will help you see what you have waiting for you. What they don't show is that this is a working winery making 10,000 bottles of wine. And they will give you a tour. Big suppress is that the family is from Texas so no translation problems at all.

Nice clean rooms, nice breakfast, but hostess is no longer friendly if we didn't buy wine from them. In the evening it is not allowed to sit in the guest room and it is not possible to get coffee, tea or soft drinks.

Thank you for the week! We have fond memories of the Löwen family. Both the senior citizens and the boss made every effort and looked after the guests. The rooms were cleaned properly every day, the breakfast was good and sufficient. In the evenings in the wine tavern, we had interesting conversations with the family. Was very good. The wine is also highly recommended;)

We were guests in a great apartment with a very nice panoramic view of the Moselle and the surrounding area. The hosts are very, very nice and concerned. We had a lot of fun and would be happy to come back.

We felt like we were in a family, Ms. Löwen pulled a leg for every guest. I would give this hotel / castle experience a 5 if maybe they would had giving me the opportunity to stay on the main building rather then a cottage outside. Perfect getaway weekend. Amazing staff, best hotel breakfast we’ve had in 2021, and an amazing spa experience. Just make sure to make reservations at the restaurant as it books early. Love that they are pet friendly too!

This would be a 5 star review but for one issue. I booked a castle room with a Vineyard view on the hotel site and even confirmed it in my Marriott bonvoy app. The day of check-in the reservation was missing from my app and when I searched the confirmation number it had changed to a cottage house room. We are currently in the house and really have to say that it actually doesn't get any better. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom with shower. The house as such has been renovated with great care and quality. We will definitely recommend it or even come back ourselves.

What an attractive holiday home! Everything is there, cozy living room with kitchen furnished in country style with doors opening onto a covered seating area with a view over the Moselle.
