Excellent location, very in the centre of the Black Forest.

3 wonderful days, a short vacation couldn't be nicer! We will be back soon and enjoy the wonderful gastronomy.

Located in a nice valley the hotel is one of about ten houses there including a chapel, and we loved the place. The old stone bridge above the Ravennaschlucht which is next to the hotel is pretty and reminds of a miniature train landscape. Slice of heaven to visit My stay was outstanding. The property was lovely clean. The staff was efficient friendly. Everything was so accommodating.

The hotel is quite old and stuck in time. The owner, however, was very nice. The breakfast is very basic, but okay for 10 euros. We had a room facing the street, which was quite loud. We paid 125 euros per night, but unfortunately, it wasn't worth it.

Loved this place! This was a great place to stay. It had its own parking spots and was central to walking for food and groceries. Very beautiful area! After visiting many Michelin Star Restaurants all over the world, it's not easy to impress me. Mr. Fehrenbach did so! Food was magnificent. The chef was first class with his dishes to eat.

The rooms are pretty small, and a bit noisy since the stairs are creaking. I happened to get sick shortly after arriving and the staff helped me a lot to see a doctor immidiately. However, there's no wifi in the rooms and the host is not so kind. The hotel posses a small dog and a cat which walk freely in the dining room. The dinner is fixed (there's no menu) but it's prepared on the spot.

Front of house needs attention ! Not a friendly welcome …asked if we could get help with the bags due to bedroom was on the second floor …I ended up having to make 2 trips as they said they were very busy !!!! Overall we would say this hotel is in a perfect position in Hinterzarten but we would say the offer from the hotel is not of good value we are sorry to say !!

This was my 3rd visit to Hotel Thomahof so clearly I have been satisfied. I like the spa and wellness facilities and they were never too crowded. The new rocking beds in the relaxing room are HEAVEN. I think I‘d come back just for them. Food quality is also very good and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The gym is small but had everything I needed and I had it to myself.

We lacked nothing. The service was excellent, the staff always friendly. The food in the restaurant was above average, as was the breakfast. The wellness area is a dream with a wonderful view. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel 100%!

One of the best hotels we have ever visited, perfect service, perfect kitchen, perfect room .. The hotel is located a little outside the center of the village, on a hill. Very good starting point for hikes, Freiburg can also be reached quickly for a visit. All in all perfect!

We stay here when we want to visit Hinterzarten. Excellent buffet frühstück with fresh made waffles and eggs to order. Room were clean and will be updated next year but price for what you get is best in town. Next to several bike & hiking paths as well as amenities in town. Their Ebikes were fun to ride. A clean, cosy, warm hotel with huge luxerious rooms with a great shower for decent prices. The bed was also nice and clean, the view was wonderful. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very nice and luxurious. Only downside is that it is quite some distance from the nearest points of interest by foot. By car it's very doable :)

Definitely good value for the price. We stayed here because we had friend‘s wedding near by. The room was simple but quite spacious and breakfast was solid. We also had dinner and the portion was huge. Service was okay but not so friendly. It looked like a dog friendly restaurant.

My teen daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were clean and nice. Plenty of room. The town is an easy walk and plenty to do/see in the area. Can’t beat the beautiful view and serene area.

At first, we were disappointed that we were given a studio uphill from the beautiful house pictured here, but soon found out that it was a new elegant and spacious room overlooking the lake with our own terrace. We only ate at their restaurant, and were we happy to have stopped here?!?! There is a wonderful view over Lake Titisee and a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and service friendly. Parking available but limited. There is also a small place where children can play after having eaten. There is easy access down to the lake, after having eaten.

It was a nice hotel location I tried through booking to book two nights but it didn’t work so I books separate nights with different names as we are a couple ! Good basic hotel across from the train station in Titisee. Free parking was helpful, and it was in walking distance to the Badeparadis. The included breakfast was good and well stocked. Note that there are rooms on the fourth floor and there is no lift, so that can be a slog. The rooms are traditional and a bit beaten around the edges, but fine — the only thing we missed were curtains for the window...

Great stay but way too complicated for check in and getting a Konos card (we never got one). The breakfast door was locked and folks were trying to figure out how to get in, and only entered when someone left. Rooms are great for families.

Unfortunately we had a lot of problems with the check-in. It's an automated check in and when the system encountered problems, we had to make so many calls to fix the check in problems, and again lots of calls to get the right codes for the room. One should be prepared to have a phone & enough battery so you can make phone calls as there is no reception for check in. Also this happened to us around...

A gorgeous gem in a romantic area. Great accomodations and an absolutely top notch spa facilities for guest use. The sauna, infrared room, steam bath, salt bath, dip chamber etc etc, 2 pools and a floating dock on the lake. Just wow. This is the only place to stay on the water and it is gorgeous
