BRUGGER' S Hotelpark Am Titisee

I have stayed here before. The customer service was always not that great.
Now i wanted to enquire about a potential stay and it seems that they do not even want to answer their email.

Not very business and customer oriented.

The rooms can be very loud, depending on the one that you get

We are a big family, and we came every summer to enjoy our vacation in Europe. It was our worst experience ever. We have usually been welcomed and treated very well. We always found Europeans are very friendly and kind, But those guys in this hotel were really weird. They wrote on their page that children of all ages are welcome, but then we were surprised that only some of the room categories and not the suites. Then they decided (by the woman who claimed she is the owner) that all of our kids are not welcome in all categories! They said that we did not mention the number of kids during the reservation. Sadly, when we tried to explain that is because we didn’t need any extra beds for them and we also were ready for any additional charge, they didn’t even listen. They forced us to cancel our reservation! (by the way, last week, we did not mention our kids during the reservation process on both Düsseldorf- intercontinental and NH collection of Amsterdam, and our kids were welcomed upon check-in and even included in the breakfast). What hotel in the world insists on separating young kids from their parents!! I can not leave my 2 and 5 years old children alone in a separated room !! And l believe it is against the law in many countries.
We were shocked by how they spoke to us and their uncivilized behavior. We came all overseas to discover and enjoy many places, including this fantastic lake. We arrived very late, just before sundown. It was a long drive for more than five hours with our kids and parents who needed to rest after that long day. Unfortunately, they didn’t consider any of that.
Actually, this hotel was below our standards, but we chose it because of the location and the lake view. They try to make it a luxurious hotel, but it will never be. Especially if they treat their customers the way they dealt with us (I kept my two kids with me at the most luxurious hotels in the world, they never been refused, and it never considered a kind of people stocking like what the staff said to us). Was it a kind of racism? No one knows!! . I hope we never meet those kinds of people again.
