We enjoy the nice rooms, very friendly and attentive staff, the huge wellness and spa area and of course the delicious food throughout the whole day. This is a beautiful hotel in one of our favorite areas in the black forest, Hinterzarten. Parkhotel Adler oozes black forest charm, boasting a superb restaurant, great wellness area with a heated outdoor pool and super friendly staff. It is fantastic for a short magic weekend getaway or longer stay. We absolutely loved it here. Special mentions: the spa and breakfast and truly amazing staff.

My stay was delightful. The breakfast was good for European standards and quite satisfying. Dinner impressed with its quality. I particularly enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi area, appreciating the lack of crowds. The hotel's distinctive architecture, featuring an old historic building connected to more modern buildings via subterranean passages, added a unique charm to the experience.

Their webpage is very rudimentary, so you’re better off just phoning them. The location is beautiful, the grounds perfectly kept, as is the spa and pool. The rooms are spacious and have great views. great facilities and rooms. excellent service. highlights were the breakfast and the attention ate staff. They helped return a lost watch back to the UK once found and that was a great relief. great to know there are places like these still around were people can be so welcoming and trusted. definitely recommended !

We had a very nice one-night stay at this hotel which offers their style of "full board" as standard. The hotel has spacious rooms, still retaining some old-fashioned chart, as well as a spa (2x saunas, steam room, indoor pool, outdoor pool and jacuzzi). This was my 3rd visit to Hotel Thomahof so clearly I have been satisfied. I like the spa and wellness facilities and they were never too crowded. The new rocking beds in the relaxing room are HEAVEN. I think I‘d come back just for them. Food quality is also very good and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The gym is small but had everything I needed and I had it to myself.

We lacked nothing. The service was excellent, the staff always friendly. The food in the restaurant was above average, as was the breakfast. The wellness area is a dream with a wonderful view. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel 100%!

One of the best hotels we have ever visited, perfect service, perfect kitchen, perfect room .. The hotel is located a little outside the center of the village, on a hill. Very good starting point for hikes, Freiburg can also be reached quickly for a visit. All in all perfect!

Haven’t been in hotel it self, BUT the restaurant is really good! Staff is super friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere, good for couples and family, good wine.

We stay here when we want to visit Hinterzarten. Excellent buffet frühstück with fresh made waffles and eggs to order. Room were clean and will be updated next year but price for what you get is best in town. Next to several bike & hiking paths as well as amenities in town. Their Ebikes were fun to ride. Amazing peaceful quit place in the middle of the black forest. The hosts are very nice and lovely, Wifi is limited and not working everywhere in the hotel. We will definitely come back here.

My wife and I spent a week at Waldhotel Fehrenbach last September and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean, modern and pleasant to stay in, but not luxurious. Herr Fehrenbach is a great chef and very knowledgeable about wine. He knows a lot about the plants and mushrooms that grow in the surrounding woods and uses this expertise to the benefit of his guests by cooking wonderful, locally sourced...

We have 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Josef is a great person. We felt immediately welcomed and so well taken care of. He is an amazing cook and loves his job! Diners and breakfasts are delicious and abondant. Rooms are very comfortable and surroundings are beautiful, peaceful. Extremely well located for trekking, cycling. We really recommend. After visiting many Michelin Star Restaurants all over the world, it's not easy to impress me. Mr. Fehrenbach did so! His incredible knowledge about accompanying wines makes the delicious meals even better. The whole evening was truly inspiring. This hotel is situated in the middle of the village, right by the train station, with gorgeous views all around of the mountains and the forest. The food is very traditional, absolutely delicious and in large portions. You can walk it all off on the many little trails surrounding the village. We came in winter, so we did a lot of cross country skiing and playing in the snow to burn off the calories...

Nice and Tippical hotel, good situated. We were 2 adults and 1 child, we get a nice and spacious room. The bathroom was large and with all the facilities. The breakfast was varied and copious. The personnal was friendly. We eat one vegetarian diner, it was appetezing and good.

At the end of a dead way street with Hiking trails on both ends it is perfectly located. The servers was great with good breakfast and a natural pool. The two downsides are the parking and the chairs in the room were a bit too stiff

From 08/08/20 to 08/09/20 I found a very nice, quiet and well-kept area to relax as described! Nice and cosy stay.. Felt like at home..We had got an apartment which was quite big - with a small furnished kitchen, dining area, living room and a bedroom. Breakfast was also sufficient. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean and the interior is something to see so much about the town and maps of walks ect. The room was fantastic very big with WiFi tea coffee and local bottled water the view was great looking over hinterzarten. Stayed here for training at the nearby lymphedema clinic. Owners were very friendly and accommodating! Daily breakfast was delicious and lovely. Running trails nearby. Highly recommended.

There is no better and more individual way of living a bed & breakfast concept. It was our second stay at Hollhouse with our two kids (3 months and 2years old) and it was even better than the first. Andrea and Robert are fantastic hosts. They helped us planning our days en looking foor good places tobeat. And it is a beautifull place if you like walking, a d relaxing!

Our stay just before Christmas Eve 2019 for two nights was just fantastic! The hosts Andrea and Robert are incomparable and you feel incredibly comfortable with them. We especially enjoyed the breakfast. It was definitely not our last vacation with them.

Staying at HollHouse completely changed our minds about holiday accommodations. We're both big friends of small individual places. Beautiful spacious room with private balcony, super clean and comfortable. Best sleep we had in a while. Food was delicious.

The rooms are pretty small, and a bit noisy since the stairs are creaking. I happened to get sick shortly after arriving and the staff helped me a lot to see a doctor immidiately. However, there's no wifi in the rooms and the host is not so kind. The hotel posses a small dog and a cat which walk freely in the dining room. The dinner is fixed (there's no menu) but it's prepared on the spot.

The house is super cute and comfy. We have quiet room with balcony. And have wonderful breakfast with beautiful view. We enjoy a lot.

Nice room and very friendly people! From the window you can enjoy the nice landscape of black wood. Also the breakfast is surprisingly good. More than to recommend.
