The restaurant is very interesting
We came to visit the Christmas market, and although there were loads of people coming, the traffic to the parking was well organised and fluid. The Christmas market itself is not big, but as accès is limited, it’s ok. Be aware you have to book many months in advance to get a room during December.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We found the hotel pretty expensive for what it was, but as it is the only one in this location, it’s ok. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special. The menu card and the food is average too, and not all he food seemed home made, but everything was otherwise ok. Although in the evening the hotel restaurant was extremely busy, the food was served without delays.
The hotel is child and pet friendly, which gives it a pleasant human touch. Our beds were doing noises when turning round at night and there was only one very soft cushion per person. It was well heated which we really enjoyed.
As there aren’t any other restaurants on site, we would have loved the Christmas market to open at midday rather then 2 p.m. so that one can drink and eat something for lunch time.
My stay was outstanding. The property was lovely clean. The staff was efficient friendly. Everything was so accommodating.
