Great hotel in the middle of Cloppenburg, near the museum village. Each room is individually designed. Many rooms have a balcony or a small terrace, in addition to the normal amenities of a hotel. This hotel is clean and functional. Fair prices and parking space in front of the building. Nothing really special, but definitely good enough for a business trip.

Nice hotel close to the center of Cloppenburg - 1 street away. When you are there, though, it is a bucolic experience, like staying in the middle of a park! The fixtures are first rate, the rooms clean and in good repair. The included breakfast? Amazing

I stay for the second time, everything suits: the location, the rooms and the breakfast. I was afraid it would be noisy, as the windows face the street, but the room is quite quiet.

Nice hotel in the city center. They have a very cosy backyard for dinners nd events, but expensive and fully booked.

24h reception would be very much appreciated. Window imitations in some of the rooms are not my cup of tea either. Other than that, solid hotel

Nice friendly staff, even if little English - moved her car out of the car park so I could park in secure yard - beyond the call of duty! Interesting town with several restaurants but sadly NOT a single German one. That was a pity but not hotel's fault.

Lovely rooms. We had a double ensuite which had a shower. Some ensuites have baths and the bathrooms were massive! We stayed for one night with family members. The staff knew enough English to check us in. Great location. Just a short walk from the high street.

Super friendly service, familiar atmosphere and a great breakfast buffet in a traditional north european enviroment. Perfect location if you wanna discover Cloppenburg and the rural region.

My go to place when in Cloppenburg. Owners and staff extremely hospitable and friendly. We had a delicious dinner at acceptable prices. Will be back next time. Thank you.

Arrived today. By bike 74 km driven, of which 50 km by heavy rain. And here everything is great. Great room, great service, great dinner. The breakfast will be great too. Tomorrow we continue, the good memory remains ....

I had small holidays wirh family and we had mood to change atmosphere. Our choice was spontaneous and we was really surprised about quality of hotel and services. Personal of hotel was very attantive and food of restaurants was reallu tasted.

Really nice stay. We traveled with an infant, and when he started crying we asked if it was OK to bring our food to the room. They were very understanding and helpful.

Nice hotel. Not to far from centre and several restaurants. Though grilling specialty in Hotel is recommended. Great private parking area. Tablet with WiFi in the room. But temporary connection problems where they work on. Long time since I hadn't slept on a waterbed. So good relaxed night.

Very well received by the owner. Besides the very good room in the annex we also booked a table in the restaurant, which showed to be excellent. All in all we had a great stay.

Very happy to stay here , enough parking space at the back of the hotel. Good host and also chef, ordered the Hahnschitzel and Herrencreme for dessert. Room, nice clean and cosy so 5 stars!

Good rooms which are very nice and clean and there is parking. They are extremely friendly at the hotel. The breakfast is good, nothing is missing and the food in the restaurant is of very high quality.

It is one of good hotels in Oldenburg, conveniently located near some shopping malls (e.g. schlosshöfe). The hotel is clean with very nice and varieties in its breakfast package.

A lovely place to stay for us to visit Oldenburg & meet up with friends. The spacious room with wood panelled ceiling was pristine, and presented in a very welcoming style. Nice bathroom & lovely design. Sascha was very helpful with arranging access. Top marks for the Oldenburger Mühler!

Easy parking, excellent facilities and the room had everything you could need and more! Room had a king size bed, very comfortable, a kitchenette and bathroom with large corner bath and shower.

A very nice place to stay for a short trip to Oldenburg. We were very happy with the room. Nice location, nice rooms, friendly and easy handling with the owner. Sufficient parking space available. Delicious breakfasts possible in approx. 300 m distance. We will definitely book again for another family visit.

Awesome buffet for a big group of people.

This is a modern and very nicely designed hotel in a good location only minutes from the centre of Oldenburg. The room was very interestingly decorated and had a very comfy bed and great bathroom. Staff were helpful although the building is unstaffed between 6pm and 8am. A fridge full of drinks & snacks was available outside these hours, and they also offer free bike hire... we didn't try this...

Very relaxing place with a beautiful cafe. I stayed there for a few days. Breakfast is straightforward but high quality and the staff is motivated and obliging. Wlan was very fast and reliable throughout the whole building.

Was only there for breakfast, as a friend was staying there. The eating room was nice and spacious, and clean. Breakfast served was great. Nice warm bread, great taste, and lots of toppings to choose from.

Super cozy hotel. Nice and clean with no noise. I had very little time to get breakfast so the receptionist made me a packed breakfast and I didn't even ask for it. That is going above and beyond! Amazing customer service :) Thank you

Almost everything. Location was great. Room was great. There were even adjustable beds, which was a big bonus. And everything was very clean. The choice and quality of food for breakfast was exceptional. All the staff were very helpful.

Pros: very helpful staff, very nice breakfast and really good location! Cons: it can be quite noisy at night for those who stay in rooms that face the main street (Damm). Even though I closed all windows I could still hear the cars and people's chatting. One night there was a couple next door who were having a big fight in the middle of the night and I could literally hear everything. So the walls...

Very clean and tidy hotel. My room was a bit small but I personally don't care as long as it's clean and has everything I need. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great. You definitely should try taking breakfast on one of the tables that offer a beautiful view of the street outside. Otherwise, the other tables are awesome too :)

My wife and I were able to spend our 10-day summer bike holiday here. We were very very satisfied. Food good home cooking, service very professional and friendly . Oh yes, there was something else, there is a lot of investment and expansion here, it is no coincidence. 👌

Yesterday I followed an invitation and came here with a larger group to eat asparagus. The food was delicious 😋 and a request for intolerance was responded to immediately and the food was changed. I ate way too much because it was constantly being refilled. I would love to come back and can only recommend it. Hospitality is still alive here

Had a one night stopover in Oldenburg and Altera was a great choice. Central location, spacious room, gorgeous hand soap (green tea & ginger) and very helpful staff. Our 2 bikes were safely stowed overnight while we explored the sights on foot. Oh, an the free Haribo was a nice touch too.

Very pleasant staff helps to make this a nice venue. Breakfast offers many fresh choices, and the hotel’s own parking lot is conveniently outside the side door. Rooms are OK, and those preferring hard mattresses will be happy. Bathroom has a tub, shower head, and hand nozzle with string pressure and plenty of hot water. Telekom WiFi in building works well. Great choice in Oldenburg.

Had a workshop here. Hotel staff were nice, but a bit unaccustomed to the request to provide power outlets for more than 8 people in a meeting room. The meeting room was very cold and could not be heated sufficiently - even though the staff equipped it with a mobile radiator. Rooms were very nice and modern. Room was also very quiet. Would stay here again - but preferably won't have another workshop...

The location of the hotel was very good. Staff was very helpful and always available. Coffee and drinks were freely available.

EXACTLY what I needed after six hours travelling from Denmark! The free drinks, coffee and ice cream in the public areas made a real difference to the experience. The room was very pleasant and the shower room was exceptionally clean.

Receptionist was very welcoming.

Immaculately clean hotel very convenient to the train station. The rooms are large with comfortable seating, with a kitchenette. There is also a full German breakfast included with sausage meats cheeses yogurt muesli and fruit. A full compliment of hot and cold beverages.
