I had a great stay at the "Stadt Cuxhaven". Staff are extremely friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was equally great, a vast selection, quality and tasty choice. I would stay there any time again when in the area. Nice restaurants are also nearby in the harbour.

Not bad, but the fact there is no reception facilities and check in after hours is a major disadvantage to travellers. No restaurant in house and very little choice for dinner in the immediate neighborhood

A very reasonably priced hotel, which at thel moment is being renovated to make it light and bright my room was great small but everything right at your fingertips. A great breakfast buffet and warm smiling staff!!!

Cozy hotel close to the harbor. The rooms are fresh and nicely decorated, but you can see that it is an older building. Bathrooms could be a bit bigger and more modern and the elevator can feel somewhat claustrophobic. Still, the location, friendly staff and quiet surroundings make up for it.

Very tasty burger with sweet potato fries. Friendly conditions. Unfortunately, our reservation didn't work out at all. We then got a table in the middle of the terrace. Unfortunately the heaters there were broken and the wind there was freezing like our food after 5 minutes. A shame

The room was clean and the mattresses good. The facility is functional and in good shape but badly in the years to come. The bathroom needs to be renovated, the sixties can easily be recognized. The Breakfast was very good, I ask for the price but also. The pitches for the wheels were not only covered but not lockable, really cyclist friendly. The staff was very friendly.

A beautiful place, competent and nice wardens and waitresses, maybe too few members of staff for too much work at certain rush hours, yet the people who work there are nice to deal with.

Beautiful Wattwagen ride with a cheerful and well-informed driver to Neuwerk. The handling of the animals was caring. There was a lot of information for the guests. The stay is unfortunately very short, so that you can hardly do anything. But that's due to the flood. But the journey alone is worth it.

Great hotel, with a lovely pool and spar, the only down side is I know the hotel is in Germany but all the signs inside the room and around the hotel were only in Germany no other languages so if you don't understand German you are in trouble ,they should at least be in English.

It is a lovely hotel, with a great pool and hot tub close to the sea, we had a great view of the sea from our 3rd floor room. I stayed there for one night. The room was quite spacious, the breakfast room offers a good view on the sea (and of course a delicious breakfast). The hotel also has a relaxing sauna area. It was a really enjoyable stay.

Positive, the light-flooded rooms with large balcony and lake view, very good mattresses, a very rich Breakfast buffet, the swimming Pool, very nice reception, everything was well maintained and clean were: However, the bathroom is too small, the shower is much too tight. In the case of a longer stay, we'd have been disturbed, for the 3 days it was ok.

Great breakfast and friendly staff! I visited on a business trip and the staff ensured everything ran smoothly. Good breakfast with great views over the port. Room was adequate and clean. Lots of extra welcome touches like coffee/tea in the foyer and cosy chairs throughout the lobby and bar for some down time of an evening. There's a spa too!

We stayed here for one night before our trip to Helgoland. The next morning, we couldn’t get a taxi, but the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and managed to book one for us early in the morning. Excellent service—highly appreciated! Five stars!

Really great location right next to the forest and close to the beach. Nice little hotel. We had a spacious room right under the roof, so it was sometimes quite warm there. But everything was very clean. Unfortunately, the whirlpool was closed due to Corona. Breakfast was great.
