Where to stay in Cuxhaven

a great hotel with very good service, comfort, clean and modern rooms (we had room number 16). Both breakfast and dinner were of good quality in terms of taste and appearance. A big compliment to the staff who were very friendly, attentive and nice in all areas.

Great hotel, with a lovely pool and spar, the only down side is I know the hotel is in Germany but all the signs inside the room and around the hotel were only in Germany no other languages so if you don't understand German you are in trouble ,they should at least be in English.

It is a lovely hotel, with a great pool and hot tub close to the sea, we had a great view of the sea from our 3rd floor room. The only thing that let the hotel down was even though it is a 4star hotel all the signs around the hotel and in the rooms were in German, I know the hotel is in Germany but in this day and age of travel shouldn't the signs be other language's as well especially English as this...

I stayed there for one night. The room was quite spacious, the breakfast room offers a good view on the sea (and of course a delicious breakfast). The hotel also has a relaxing sauna area. It was a really enjoyable stay.

The room was OK, the Service and the food in the Restaurant , but the Breakfast - both remotes have heard of friendliness, nothing yet, already in at 9.30 am, the buns were all , even though Breakfast goes until 10: 00 . Positive, the light-flooded rooms with large balcony and lake view, very good mattresses, a very rich Breakfast buffet, the swimming Pool, very nice reception, everything was well maintained and clean were: However, the bathroom is too small, the shower is much too tight. In the case of a longer stay, we'd have been disturbed, for the 3 days it was ok.

Very good hotel, nice breakfast, good spa area, quiet rooms. Even the room closest to spa was quiet. In the room bathrobe, extra towel and slippers - all handy for the use in spa. Parking area is sufficient, two parkings one in the front of the main entrance and one in the backyard. Costs 10€ per night, but always spots available.

Nice cozy place, nice relaxing area (kinda spa zone) hot, wet, steam saunas, pool....all nice. Restaurant food was very nice and we did enjoy the taste . And the morning wake up.....just HEAVEN, no sound pollution, just bird trills and pure fresh sea breeze .

We booked 3 nights. The hotel is not far from the beach in Döse. Very friendly staff, rooms well equipped, comfortable beds, bathrooms well equipped. We chose the Moin! Hotel for a short trip to Cuxhaven. We were absolutely happy with our choice, it was wonderful. Our room was small, but cozy and in perfect condition. We spent a few days in this hotel in January. We even got a junior suite with a free minibar. Very clean, large bathroom. Staff very well trained and always there for you. We really liked the hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful. A lot of effort is put into the buffet and there is a huge selection. The location is also ideal: 3 minutes to the beach and about 3 minutes to the nearest restaurants. The rooms are cozy and nicely furnished. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back! :)

Really great location right next to the forest and close to the beach. Furnished functionally, even if it would be better if, for example, the wicker chair was not defective, and if you had a few coat hooks and the like. Really great breakfast with lots of choice. We were there 2 nights and very happy! You can walk to the beach in 2 minutes and there was a car park right outside the hotel. The room was cozy and clean, the same goes for the pool. I had a great stay at the "Stadt Cuxhaven". Staff are extremely friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was equally great, a vast selection, quality and tasty choice. I would stay there any time again when in the area. Nice restaurants are also nearby in the harbour.

We stayed in this hotel for one day, from the booking until arrival the service was amazing. The team puts in effort to let you feel comfortable and welcome! Very tasty burger with sweet potato fries. Friendly conditions. Unfortunately, our reservation didn't work out at all. We then got a table in the middle of the terrace. Unfortunately the heaters there were broken and the wind there was freezing like our food after 5 minutes. A shame

The room was clean and the mattresses good. The facility is functional and in good shape but badly in the years to come. The bathroom needs to be renovated, the sixties can easily be recognized. We were now in the Wattenkieker for the second time. Again a very nice stay. Friendly staff, spacious and clean room with a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea. Unfortunately we are deducting one point this time. After a week, the same breakfast selection becomes a bit boring. Otherwise everything was great!

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days it is spotlessly clean the owners bend over backwards to help in any way they can'and the food is the best I've ever had at any hotel anywhere'would love to go back!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Nige Hus on Neuwerk. Our arrival and departure was not easy because of the unpredictable weather. All the more we felt that we were in good hands. Awesome! This is the first word that comes to me when I stay here. The food, staff and rooms are all first class. I am an American with limited German language and had no problems communicating in English with the staff and owners. I highly recommend this establishment.
