Where to stay in Fallingbostel

Decent hotel for single night. Spacey rooms, renovated bathrooms. Some may complain it is rather cold in the rooms (due to size?). Good breakfast - large choice of various products. Decent value for money (we booked via booking.com) Good contact with reception.

The location is nice, I book here for the Weltvogelpark. Breakfast is also lovely. My room is not clean, I find some hair definitely not mine on the table and my blanket. Also find some finger nail piece on the floor and I step on it. Please improve the cleaning.

We loved everything here. Room was big, bed was very large and comfortable, big screen TV, breakfast was free and tasty. Easy to reach from the highway and yet in a quiet, pretty neighbourhood. Even our dogs were welcome, there was only a small extra payment.

The location and the mattresses are top-notch. The rooms are tidy, although some areas could use some renovation. Upon arrival, a quick check of the room and amenities should be done, and any complaints should be addressed immediately. Location is good, we only went there for 1 day. So we were not able to see much of the area. But what we saw was a green and peaceful environment. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Furthermore, the staff was also friendly. The bird park and serengeti safari park in Walsdorf are also nearby (by car), just check in advance if they are open...

Very clean, Good service and well lit parking lot

We booked a family room at this hotel. We got one on the second floor. It was nice and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the green garden. The second room I booked on the ground floor was less roomy. In the evening we reserved breakfast and breakfast time. In the morning all was prepared for us. Breakfast was pretty good, staff were friendly. A good place to stay on our way to Serengeti park.

I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Haus am Walde during an official trip to Hannover. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going on business or holiday. The service responds to requests/complaints immediately. Great praise! The reception should be occupied longer and I missed a small bistro with sandwiches, wraps or potato salad with sausages as well as non-alcoholic beer/wine, tea and coffee specialties. From 8 p.m. you need the room key to get into the building. Children forget the time while playing, tears sometimes fall until the parents/caregivers...

very friendly staff, very calm place. We enjoyed our time there. the room is super clean, there is a BBQ under request, playground, and a children's play corner inside for rainy days. I like everything there but the breakfast could be improved a little bit more.

We booked a room trough Expedia and something went wrong at their system. There was no reservation in the hotel. Expedia customer service didn’t help us at all. And there was no room available for my family of 5 in the hotel. Luckily the very friendly owner went to much trouble to help us out. He offered his Holliday house nearby for the price of the room. It was great. I worked in a 4 star hotel myself. But the quality of Forellenhof is really unique. The crew is very friendly, experienced and you feel like you are in safe hands. Unfortunately, I could not leave as much tip as the staff deserves. The first time you come there and do not want to leave. Everything was great: food, mattress, etc.

We were passing through and decided to stay at the Theeshof for 2 nights. That turned out to be a real stroke of luck. We were welcomed in a friendly and nice way, just like old friends. You rarely get as much attention as on this farm. We'll definitely be back.

Heidehotel Anna is near to a supermarket and the city center. When staying there, I noticed, that it is really quiet in and outside the Hotel. I enjoyed this really much. The food (we had one breakfast there) was excellent and also the rooms. I recommend to take one of the rooms 1-7, because they are more comfy. All in all it is tidy, quiet and a good choice to stay there.

Wir haben ein Hotel für unseren Aufenthalt im Heide Park gesucht. Bei der Preis/Leistung kann man nicht meckern. Das Hotel hat einen urigen Stil und man fühlt sich daheim wie bei Oma. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Zimmer war sauber und Frühstück sehr lecker. Außerdem gibt es einen Parkplatz im Innenhof.

A fridge with a selection of beverages for self-service was available to welcome you. Breakfast was adequate and the nearby steak house well worth a visit. My room on the ground floor, in permanent shade, looked a bit damp and cool, especially since the heating was not running continuously. Bed and bathroom were ok

One of the coziest hotela I’ve stayed in. Exeptionaly friendly staff. Very clean large rooms. We stayed in a room with a balcony with a view to the park. The park is nice for a stroll or to let tour kids plat. Be sure not to miss the breakfast! Although limmited, the food was top notch! Very reasonable price!

We stayed here for 1 night in the family room. The room looked better than in the photos. All was nice and clean and all beds were made for us. Also the babybed was brought in quickly. Minor thing was the noise coming from the kitchen below, however that was over around 9-10pm. The hotel is in Soltau near a park. The center is in walking distance, which is nice.

We stayed here in a family room (us and our five year old son). It's a very pleasant hotel, friendly staff and good-sized room. The steakhouse is lovely for dinner and breakfast here is amazing and plentiful! There is a great park nearby for kids, and it's so close to Heide Park theme park! Would 100% recommend this place!

Nicely located in the middle between the center of Soltau and the autobahn, this quiet and well-maintained hotel is a relaxing and pleasant place to spend the night. Nothing super-fancy, but given the very reasonable prices it's excellent value. They have 2 chargers for electric cars available at the hotel, and use of these is free for hotel-guests.

Very good hotel with restaurant. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was very tasty. There was a play area in the house and a great playground outside - very family friendly. The team was very nice and accommodating throughout. There was also a public refrigerator where we could store supplies from our trip.

We were looking for an 'insider tip' and are very happy to have discovered this hotel for our stopover. For us, the family room with 2 and 5 year old children was just right. A great, high-quality playground outside, a games room inside right next to the restaurant and great food with organic ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

Fairly close to the Autobahn. Small but sufficient and tasty breakfast. The restaurant serves good food that suits a family. Ok rooms, we had problem with the air condition but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Electric car charging is possible for two cars, although it is priced the same as an expensive supercharger which is a bit too much.

I rate the food here. And the service. We haven't eaten so well for a long time. Big compliments to the kitchen. The service was first class anyway. It was a pleasure.

Stayed here to go to Heide Park nearby, and I highly recommend it. The rooms look newly renovated and are very nice. They are small, but are made to feel spacious. The large windows in the rooms are an added bonus. The included complimentary breakfast for us was a bonus, and the selection of breakfast food was endless. Check-in and check-out was fast and efficient, just the way it should be. No complaints...

We stayed in this hotel because of proximity to Heide adventure park. It was probably about 7 min drive which was very convenient. Hotel situated in the forest, green, with lots of activities to do. Room very clean. Breakfast and dinner had great buffet offers, one could choose to sit inside or outside. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here one night on our roadtrip. Our room (503) was clean and in good shape and the staff really friendly. The highlight for me was the breakfast offering cereals, hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, yoghurt, breads/rolls, a variety of cheeses, spreads, sausages, jams, honeys, and even prosecco. If you need a place to stay the night or need a bite to eat, I recommend this place.
