Stayed thete for a work related trip in Flensburg. Location: it is next to Flensburg ZOB and the walking street. Several restaurants and bars are at walking distance. Location wise it is 5/5. Service: The staff was helpful and as expected. Both (check in and check out were fast) Room: The room was clean, and had good aesthetics. I checked out early morning, so couldn't enjoy their breakfast.

It was a nice hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had some issues with my room with the minifridge lights flashing, but they were quick to send people to help. The breakfast was ok, like your average hotel breakfast menu. It is close to a police station and hospital so there were lots of traffic passing by with sirens on. It was not too loud however if you had your window closed

Overall good experience. Mostly friendly staff, clean and modern room, nice view of lake.

The hotel facilities are very nice and the location is amazing. We were however not impressed with the lack of roomservice. We did however recieve a couple of clean sheets and towels when confronting the front desk to change ourselves.

One of the good hotels in the city, very popular, clean and you can come to eat there. We were there when it was a music festival in Flensburg.

Room is good and comfortable. Minibar(empty) fridge is a good thing to have and here I have it. Full floor carpet at room and it is not my favorite thing. Service is good and breakfast was also good. Seem to be peaceful rooms at least on the back side of the hotel. No excess sounds like traffic sounds are coming to the room.

Hotel in central and easy to reach location. Very friendly service. But rooms urgently need an upgrade. Too expensive for the level of quality.

Clean and spatious rooms, old fashioned but that has its own charm. 24/7 reception and a good breakfast.

But for the kind young lady at the reception and the nice habit to offer coffee & sweets in the afternoon, the rooms are without air con, very noisy until 10:00pm as looking over garages and parking places, breakfast poor, no safe in rooms,definitely too pricey for the offered average quality.

Just passing by Flensburg on our way back to Sweden. Good breakfast, nice beds and friendly staff. Free parking if they have any in spare. Been here twice. Just a bit to expencive.

Nice quite place - easy to access.

Lovely quiet hotel.. even beside the main road, it's pleasant, the manager is so sweet and treats you like a life long friend.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. However the hotel was overall very good for the price. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well.

Very pleasant hotel in Flensburg quiet room but a few locals in the rear car park playing music.Excellent buffet breakfast.

A room under the roof is very hot when the temperature outside is 31 dog C. Changed room to one on the first floor, then ok. Nice breakfast. Prices in the higher end.

Not a fancy hotel, but the restaurant has nice decorations and it's just at the Danish border.

Cosy family hotel a couple of km north of Flensburg. Large room for 2 adults and a child. Friendly manageress and the staff. Decent breakfast. Recommended.

Last weekend we were guests at the Boardinghouse Flensburg by Zimmer FREI. We can really recommend this accommodation warmly. Super clean, well-kept, classy furnished and an absolute TOP location! Any time! Even the coffee in bed is secured by a fully automatic machine. If you are lucky you can get a parking space right in front of the door. Now we are waiting for our things that we have forgotten...

We felt very comfortable! The booking was very uncomplicated, the rooms perfectly clean and tidy. A few special requests such as an additional pillow and a few blankets were ready with a friendly greeting card the next day. Highly recommended!!! Price / performance fits mega here! Very clean and family friendly place, everything was well thought and nice organised for the guest, the location is also perfect, a maximum 10 min walk from the center, beautiful area, beautiful place. We would go anytime back! 😊

These days people like to eat fruits, cereals, yokurts etc, which can be brought in and stored in the community fridge. The buns were not included in the room price, but jams, butter, coffee and tea.

This is a Hotel that could do with significant modernization. Infrastructure wise, it's ancient. We booked a double room. The Bad: 1. The sliding door to the balcony had no lock. It just... slides. We called the reception for it to be fixed and a basic screw-in stud was installed. 2. No fridge or mini bar in the room 3. No air conditioning - when we felt hot, we opened the sliding door 4. No ice machine...

The bathroom shower was not safe! The shower head was very high on a very high ceiling. Hence water went everywhere. But the worst was the fact that the shower floor was extremely slippery. Thankfully we did not fall!!!!

Lovely hotel and town. A little expensive in the restaurant but you get what you pay for! Can’t fault hotel in any way.

Had a good time. Room felt very spacious and modern. Welcomed the complimentary non-alcoholic drinks when I arrived. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would choose again and hopefully have enough time to also visit the wellness area.

I arrived on a Sunday and it said on ******* that the reception would be manned until 18, but when I arrived there was a sign on the door that said that the reception was not manned on Sundays. I called the number on the sign and a very nice lady gave me information about how to get to my room. ******* should update the information on their website, otherwise it was a nice stay.

Last time we visited this hotel it was a clear 5 so we booked again inviting our son and daughter in law. Well, they had the most fantastic X-mas setup at the beach, really cosy but with that, nothing else was okay. The window in the room was wide open so inroom temperature was like 6-7 degrees and we never managed to get enough heat in the room so we had to cover op with quilts and blankets making...

We wanted to give the restaurant a second chance because we weren't really happy with the food there a while ago. Today, the family of five ate there and it was really delicious and the young waitress was really great. We'd love to come back again.

Real classical hotel Service,the staff love their work..it shines in their eyes .They made me very happy.The Cook is reaaaaally good.Lovely breakfast selection,fluffiest scrambled egg I ever had.Expensive but worth every penny and more.

Hotel and restaurant are both quite nice on an overall scale, but decisively overpriced for the quality they offer. Both are also understaffed.
