This was a very mediocre experience. The hotel is in the process of being refurbished (building work everywhere). I got an old room which was not on the main road. Even so it was really loud if I opened the window (and I needed to as it was so stuffy with no a.c. ) It would be unbearable in summer. The hotel now has 130 plus beds and the breakfast room is far too small. There were guests constantly...
Big room, I think it was two separate rooms once upon a time. Perfect for the family, two could sleep a bit "offside". Rooms was newly renovated. No AC was a shame since we were there on a quite warm and humid day. Receptionist was friendly.
Value for money , free parking , centre at 25 meters , nice breakfast, simple but effectieve bar with fair prices., it's not the hilton but for the night over we had more than ok, goed luck

Very clean and big rooms, quiet and very comfortable beds as well.
We stayed here for three nights and everything was perfect, including the breakfast which is pretty extended.

Centrally located, very friendly staff. Room was medium sized but very functional and tastefully equipped.
My room was to the street and on a Saturday it was very noisy, but that's not really the hotel's fault. Breakfast was very good, service was very quick.

The stay was ok. Employees are hospitable, and the people we met in the reception all spoke english.
The rooms do not have aircondition, so you have to use the windows for air. that worked well enough for this time of year. There is a lot of traffic on the roads 24/7 så quite noisy, but due to the time of year we could just close the window when sleeping.

We stayed in the suite. The location is great, in the center. The staff is very friendly and breakfast good. Everything is good but some things ruined it to be 5 stars. The spa bath in our room was leaking and shower cant close. A nice touch some free drinks in the room.
Loud place, you can hear a lot from the other rooms. Girl at the desk kept talking to us in german, eventho she earlier knew english fine.. very weird. Great breakfast though :) Doors do not lock themselves, so remember to!

Clean and spatious rooms, old fashioned but that has its own charm. 24/7 reception and a good breakfast.
But for the kind young lady at the reception and the nice habit to offer coffee & sweets in the afternoon, the rooms are without air con, very noisy until 10:00pm as looking over garages and parking places, breakfast poor, no safe in rooms,definitely too pricey for the offered average quality.
Friendly staff, great placement, breakfast buffet better than expected, rooms were in good condition.
Will be returning here if I go to Flensburg again.
Just passing by Flensburg on our way back to Sweden. Good breakfast, nice beds and friendly staff. Free parking if they have any in spare. Been here twice. Just a bit to expencive.

I was there 3 days. The very well-kept hotel is lovingly furnished. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is lovingly prepared with different types of fruit. I would go back anytime to stay there. I felt good all around.
The staff is so extremely friendly and nice, you just feel very comfortable. It is cozy and nice and clean and the breakfast was very loving and you could always express small extra wishes without any problems. If I come here again, then definitely here again. You can reach a lot on foot. The location is great. The rooms nice. The staff is great anyway. Only the textiles (pillows and towels) I found...
A small but very nice hotel. The rooms are small, had a single room, but everything was very clean. The breakfast is delicious and lovingly prepared. The two owners are very nice and fulfill every wish.
You can sit outside. If it weren't for the trees, you could see the moated castle from the terrace. It's a 10 minute bike ride to the beach.
Nice hotel, welcoming staff, beautiful location at the castle, good rooms and restaurant.

The bathroom shower was not safe! The shower head was very high on a very high ceiling. Hence water went everywhere. But the worst was the fact that the shower floor was extremely slippery. Thankfully we did not fall!!!!
Lovely hotel and town. A little expensive in the restaurant but you get what you pay for! Can’t fault hotel in any way.
Had a good time. Room felt very spacious and modern. Welcomed the complimentary non-alcoholic drinks when I arrived. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would choose again and hopefully have enough time to also visit the wellness area.

I arrived on a Sunday and it said on ******* that the reception would be manned until 18, but when I arrived there was a sign on the door that said that the reception was not manned on Sundays. I called the number on the sign and a very nice lady gave me information about how to get to my room. ******* should update the information on their website, otherwise it was a nice stay.
Last time we visited this hotel it was a clear 5 so we booked again inviting our son and daughter in law. Well, they had the most fantastic X-mas setup at the beach, really cosy but with that, nothing else was okay. The window in the room was wide open so inroom temperature was like 6-7 degrees and we never managed to get enough heat in the room so we had to cover op with quilts and blankets making...
We wanted to give the restaurant a second chance because we weren't really happy with the food there a while ago. Today, the family of five ate there and it was really delicious and the young waitress was really great. We'd love to come back again.
Real classical hotel Service,the staff love their work..it shines in their eyes .They made me very happy.The Cook is reaaaaally good.Lovely breakfast selection,fluffiest scrambled egg I ever had.Expensive but worth every penny and more.
Hotel and restaurant are both quite nice on an overall scale, but decisively overpriced for the quality they offer. Both are also understaffed.
