We had booked the apartment/holiday apartment with two bedrooms. We didn't realize that this wasn't directly in the hotel, but 1km further away in Haus Tannengrün. When we arrived, the bed in the second bedroom was unmade. But it was done quickly after calling. The second bedroom is not directly in the apartment, but on the ground floor and you have to go through the hallway. May be difficult for families...

If you are looking for a quiet hotel without service, bar and restaurant, this is the right place for you. The hotel is idyllically located in the middle of the forest. No cell phone reception. Free WiFi with 1 bar. Dinner only if you book it, then only warmed up, no changes possible. The same cake was in the fridge all week. "Bar" closes at 8 p.m. "Biergarten" only with self-catering from fridge...

A wonderful hotel.. Not only do the rooms and the atmosphere score points, the surroundings are fantastically beautiful.. I can definitely recommend.... There is a sauna area and a large winter garden invites you to eat. For larger celebrations, a lovingly designed room is available separately... I was a completely satisfied guest...

Rooms are small but nice if you don't have high expectations. In other words, a small closet for things, no safe in the room. Service is friendly and makes an effort. Food is so holla, you shouldn't have too high expectations, you'll get full, everything isn't what it looks like. There's nothing going on at this time of year, not even in the hotel itself 🏨 and the outside area just looks like it does...

Room not cleaned upon arrival. Overall, some things seemed unprofessional. It's a shame because the hotel has potential. Blaming everything these days on a lack of staff and sustainability is getting annoying. After all, I'm paying for it too. Breakfast and dinner okay. Nicely decorated rooms, good beds. Staff tried hard. We were accommodated when invoicing. Sauna area was great!

A glimpse of hope. Culinary very good, also the breakfast. The rooms as well as the house consistently and successfully in Art Nouveau style. It is important to the staff that we feel comfortable as guests. With pleasure again.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel was super cozy, and we immediately felt comfortable. One of the great bonuses was that we arrived on a Sunday evening, and were pleased to find out that the restaurant/bar was open until 9pm. Our stay here was more than wonderful, everything was just done in a perfect way! Especially the location, the park and the furniture of the whole castle are super beautiful and an absolute reason to come here again! Additionally to this, the service team is amazing, as we forgot something in the room and it was send to us without additional effort for us, which is surely nothing every hotel does!

My husband and I spent two nights here on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed this hidden gem! Breakfast on the castle terrace each morning was amazing. There isn't a whole lot to do nearby but the surrounding area is beautiful and it was nice to hike the local trails and see the calcium spring. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend!

This hotel was really cool! It was built in 1896, and has been well maintained. The breakfast spread was the best I have ever seen, and the employee serving breakfast was top notch. During the evening, a siren went off that sounded like an air raid alarm, but it turned out to be an alarm at the local fire department. The house has a nice and family atmosphere. Staff and owners are very friendly. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. Breakfast could offer a little more choice. Environment good. The garden is great for the summer, especially for children.

The only drawback, the clairaudience of the room, is perhaps because the TV is on the wall, where the bed is in the other room. We were there for lunch ... great service, a delicious fish soup and the fish plate with 3 different fillets were a pleasure !!! Thanks to the nice service, we felt comfortable! We will definitely be back, there are other delicacies (the game specialties) waiting for us!

We had actually only booked for one night (2 people with 2 dogs), before leaving we had considered staying for one night, unfortunately fully booked…. Pity …. We had already paid and were about to leave when the owner came towards us in the stairwell with another key - the man makes it possible and we could stay - thank you again - gladly again

Definitely suitable for a short stay. Everything you need is there. If there were any problems, the host was there immediately and found a quick solution to the problem. If you have walking difficulties, the apartments are not recommended as the apartments can only be reached by stairs. There are many things to see and experience all around. Thanks.

We were there with 5 people and had 3 apartments. It was a dream vacation. Only for people with disabilities it is not entirely recommended.

A wonderful hotel for in between with many small details, such as a kettle, hairdryer, soap and storage space in the rooms.
