A top-class hotel. Very, very friendly staff. The atmosphere is simply fantastic. You felt like a king in the breakfast room. The restaurant in the cellar vault was great. We'll be back.

Very Very friendly and profesional staff. All very good. Room very clean and not something i can complain about. A big thank you to front offfice for they were extremely helpful and proffesional in the needs of myself. I would also like to make a point of mentioning one collegue in particulaur Mr Bergen from Front Office who did everything he could do make us feel welcomed to the hotel. He was polite, helpful and caring to the needs of others. It wasn`t just me but in fact to the other guests. This type of profesional and effort is unfortunetly not always found in the hotels today. So it was great to see a hotel keeping all if it`s standards. You should definetly book here! I will be in future all the time along with my collegues. Many thanks!!!

Great location, within walking distance of all the main attractions in town. The breakfast in the former ballroom of the Orangerie is absolutely worth it.

Rooms are clean and spacious enough, breakfast was great and specially in the historic and beautiful section of the orangerie :) loved it.

An historic location in the heart of this city of great heritage. Our first choice hotel in Fulda, very good facilities and ideal to explore the city. We have stayed a number of times before. The room was quiet and spacious. Beds are comfortable and access is easy. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is taken in the Orangery, worth a visit in its own right, full of baroque splendour. The Landesgartenshau was a short bus journey away for those who intend a visit before it finishes in October.

This is a standard comfortable hotel, but what lifts it to an altogether higher level is breakfast. You walk along a corridor and emerge into the most amazing baroque hall, a garden room, with white pilasters and painted ceiling. And the food matches the venue - it is sumptuous and everything is extremely tempting.

Stayed here for two nights with family.
First of all, don’t fall into their trap of pictures. The hotel is only attached to the historic castle and is actually an overly ugly 1970s building.
Worst of all, the hotel does not have air conditioning at all. It was hot during my stay in September and without opening the door to the balcony the heat in the room would be unbearable. Be aware if you stay in summer - I don't believe a baby can sleep in this hotel.
Otherwise rooms are small and in urgent need of a refurb. Wifi spotty.
Woke up during the second night given loud noises made by other guests. All rooms are located around an interior lobby where the hotel offers alcohol to buy. Noise isolation is super bad so it was quite loud even on the second floor. There are even rooms which have their door directly into the lobby - never seen such a nonsense arrangement and these rooms must be overly loud.
Staff are friendly though and location is good. Breakfast offering is also ok.
Overall, I won’t came back. Rooms are overpriced for such a dated property. There are better options in Fulda. This property is past its best times and won't see me again.
