Where to stay in Fulda

Great location and extremely convenient. Parking right across the street at a reasonable rate. Clean hotel with a great breakfast selection. Close walking distance to downtown and many scenic places. Recommended.

I only stayed for one night as I was on a road trip. The rooms are great and so was the breakfast buffet. There is a large parking lot across the street from the hotel, which was very convenient. However, the room service menu is tiny and does not specify between appetizers and main courses. Had only one main vegetarian dish.

Reception never heard the saying "the customer is king" when i arrived from the highway i had a suitcase and a laptopcase with tablet and camera equipment with me. Needed a restroom badly and the room was payed in advance already. the would not want to give me the key to go to the bathroom and secure my belongings. When they found out that i am not living in germany they wanted to copy my ID. All together...

Nice hotel. With a lovely combination of leisure and Spa Quite lovely for couples. The room we stayed was big , yet a little obsolete , floor rug - old , curtains - old, bed + mattress... old The bathroom was lovely, and seemed renovated. Kind service all around.

Huge hotel, pleasant and attentive staff. Good roo.s with nice bathroom. Mini bar well stocked. Surprisingly good breakfast and dinner -huge variety of foods - all tastes are catered for. Nice wellness area but does tend to get busy. Hotel is less than 5 mins walk from train station and close/walking distance to downtown.

Weird reception.. asked for a upgrade one said was not possible we ask at another women from reception she arranged it for us. Thank you. The new rooms are beautiful. The old rooms are really dated Breakfast is plenty of choice

Staff are very helpful and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff, are meticulous. The hotel has plenty of facilities and more cupboards and places to put your luggage, than any other hotel I have stayed in. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is the best hotel breakfast in Fulda. I have stayed iin most hotels in Fulda and this one...

Had a good experience here. Rooms are big and clean. Bed is comfortable to sleep, and also had a big modern smart television. Only downside is that there's only 1 english channel. Breakfast was also good and of great value. I would go back to stay here. 4 stars for service because they threw away my soap and shampoo. I had to get a new one because of it. But overall, I give it a 4.5.

Beautiful rooms with friendly efficient staff and excellent dining. The conference facilities were good even with the Corona restrictions and requirements. The business section is beautifully decorated and the foyer of the section has an interesting central platform that slowly rotates.

Beautiful old hotel, probably getting close to needing a refresh. Orangerie for breakfast is magnificent! Makes your stay extra special. Beware the “included breakfasts” - we checked twice and confirmed twice that our breakfast was included and still got charged for them at checkout. Not sure how communication broke down, but it did and it did end our stay on a mildly sour note.

Property is not the nice beautiful castle it shows on pictures. Its a prison with pretty buildings around it. Parking is super tight. Watched a lady make a 30 point turn trying to park. Tv in room didnt work. The other room i had, didnt have a working refrigerator. No ice is avaliable anywhere.There is absolutely no a/c. Maintance also doesnt work the weekends. So if something is broken, well its broken...

The staff was super friendly, the rooms comfy and the breakfast absolutely delicious! Also the location is amazing!! Easy to reach (especially if you go to Fulda by train) and in close proximity to the Dom and Schlosspark!

Unfriendly Staff, opens outside the couch by 15:30 and even sees the customer waiting tells us to wait 20 more minutes. Zero Respect to Customers typical Fulda!

It had a very nice view and the taste of the gin I ordered was also good . ‏ I did not like the hamburger very much but it had a good design and the potatoes and sauce were great and also the behavior of the staff was good.

A fantastic, quaint hotel right in the centre of Fulda. The room was spacious and well presented, beautiful bathroom and wonderful view from the third floor. Quiet location despite being central but one or two little oddities dropped it 1 star, namely the lack of irons in the rooms (you have to bring your clothes to reception and they will iron for you the following day) and the very slow bar service...

Reception was air conditioned on a warm day with professional and welcoming staff and room key within a minute. The room is ideal, quiet with good WiFi and a ten minute walk from the historic town.

No night portier, so had to pick up card outside in a box. Had to call for pin. No information on this in English outside, only German. Nice big room, clean towels, nice toilet. Room is clean, but had a hint of a funky smell, obviously coming from the toilet where odor was stronger. To regular beds, very nice. Sparebed, awful.. Nice resturant

Very sympathic and convenient hotel in the old town. Spacious modern and clean room, with lounge corner and comfortable beds in the newer annex. Parking was in the hotel's own "tief garage ", also very spacious. Friendly service, and dogs are welcome. Recommended !

Great place I would stay there again, my only criticism would be that the pillows were not very comfortable. Everything thing else including the service was great.

Good hotel, but very budget. Breakfast poor. Only 1 coffemachine. But personal is friendly.

Good Hotel Modern, rooms we had was ok Sometimes cleaning rooms where missed, but overall all ok. Breakfast is ok The location is not far from Center, the Hotel is located in front heavy traffic roads but the rooms are sound isolated. Some improvement A paper block and a pen would be appreciated There is no small fridge in the room.

This is a place I would like to visit again because of its clean facilities and friendly service. In particular, the friendly and detailed support of Robert, the staff member who helped me check in, left me with good memories of Fulda.

First off, this hotel allows dogs with you into the breakfast, which was amazing and one of a kind on our trip. Huge plus for this! Overall very friendly staff, was great with the baby and dog.

Beautiful building, spacious rooms and a great restaurant

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist zufriedenstellend. Die Zimmer sind angenehm ausgestattet. Störend ist der Strassenlärm welcher bei gekipptem Fenster doch laut ist. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Sauberkeit ist top. Zu empfehlen ist auch das zugehörige Restaurant wo sehr gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen angeboten wird.

Very traditional German hotel ....Will feel like living in castle..It's back side is forest and will give complete satisfaction during your vacation stay.

4 stars becsuse owner is a Great Man. Staff also nice and friendly. Rooms decent. Possible to reach citi center by walking. One star taken because sauna is paid. These days it is odd. In general I can recommend this place.

These are sparse accommodations. The bathroom looks like it was sourced from the same place that makes all in one units for cut rate cruise lines. However it is inexpensive, very clean, staff is super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good.

Simple and practical. for a 2 star hotel it is very good. The room was clean, was large and was new. I don't know if the other rooms are like this too. There is a very good thing! the floor is not carpet, it is imitation wood which makes it much nicer and cleaner.

No Wi-Fi in room. Bathroom including walls are completely made of plastic. Clean with good breakfast. Expensive for overall feel.

The location is great. The train station and central bus station can be reached in 2 minutes and the pedestrian zone with many shops is just around the corner. The room was modernly furnished and very clean. The staff was friendly. In summary: the price-performance ratio is right.

Don't believe everything you read. There are far more bad customers than bad hotel staff in the world. I found the staff to be welcoming and they even let us fill our coffee cans free of charge before we hit the road again. The rooms are fine and the view into the inner courtyard is not that great, but if you are just looking for a bed for the night and a lovely breakfast then the price is amazing...

Lovely little hotel in Fulda, traditional in style and decor with very polite and helpful staff. Visited for a 2 day work trip and was made to feel welcome upon arrival and during the whole stay. Located just minutes from town centre amongst beautiful cobbled streets and lovely buildings and history with stunning views. Would be happy to stay here again

I liked this hotel the rooms were nice and cozy. Hotel was very clean all the time, their breakfast was really good! The only thing I didn’t like was being next to the smokers balcony since there is no AC leaving the window open was the only option but the room would smell like cigarette. The room is very clean and big, and the staff are helpful and friendly. But in summer, i wouldn't recommend it because the room is very hot. Not warm, hot. They are currently doing renovations, so i hope they know about this issue. No AC. But they will give you a ventilator. Maybe this is a good point if you want to stay here in winter😊 Fyi: no refrigerators in the room, nor a kettle. Idk if you could...

Loved to come back to stay with this hotel again. Overall very clean, good location, facilities wise is nice and super convenient especially for those who need to travel via train. To my surprised is they even equipped with fan even though most of the hotels depend on the cold air from outside of the room. Superb like 👍🏽👍🏽

Good experience. Very clean rooms. Best part is, it is possible to check-in after 10:30 pm after the reception is closed using the automatic check in machine. One thing to note, if you call the emergency number mentioned on the entry it is not answered by anyone. So good to confirm about free parking before the receptionist beforehand.

The room is very big and 2 complete sides of the room are windows, but the sun shutters didn't work . It was hot , I tried to use the fan in the room also it's not working. Internet connection is also unreliable and very slow. Overall, it's ok.

a perfect hotel if you need a nice room at a good price. No breakfast but there is a refrigerator and a water boiler in the room. The only problem is that the cup for tea is too small.

This hotel was absolutely outstanding. The room was huge, everything was super clean, very organised (communication with hotel, where to get what, etc.) and some little items for free in the minibar. Also, the price was super attractive. You‘d never get this value for money at another hotel from my personal experience… If I‘m going back to Fulda, this is my one and only place to stay!

The owner of the hotel is very friendly. Even during Covid restrictions he’s helping out train conductors that have to stay overnight due to working shifts. They are kind enough to provide them with a brunch package, as it is impossible to get food when your shift ends at 3 AM. He also tries to only serve locally grown food.

Comfy hotel in Fulda city center. Family rooms available on request. Good breakfast buffet with fresh fruits and different types of coffees and teas. Getting back every year and I am quiet happy with the friendly service.

Reception on the 4th floor, and the rooms are quite spread out, up and down stairs around the building. Very strange key cards to access the rooms.

Really nice place. Specially if you're in Fulda for business, the staff pays a lot of attention to the guest. Really good breakfast with a lot of variety. The only cons is that they have few rooms equipped with kitchen this is if you're going to stay long periods of time.

The room I booked was missing a small refrigerator. I would have liked to have had a drink in the evening in the humid weather without having to leave the room. I generally find the carpeting in the bedroom unpleasant. I can't comment on the staff in general, as I didn't have much contact with them.

Guests are given a friendly welcome. The rooms are clean. Overall, everything about the hotel was good. It's also suitable for families; there's a playground nearby, and it's not far away. The breakfast buffet was plentiful.

Basics ok for the price Ok stay for 1 night, not much to see. Charger for Electric Car expensive (the main reason for booking this hotel) at 0,51 Euro for slow-charger. Uninspiring breakfast for 10,5 Euro.
