Outstanding hotel. Beautiful facilities with much attention to detail and a fantastic comfortable ambiance. Excellent gourmet restaurant. Outstanding staff that tries to anticipate your every wish. Very comfortable rooms. Beautiful garden, fantastic spa. I found this hotel by chance using booking.com because I needed a place to stay for one night during a long road trip. What a pleasant surprise and a place to remember and perhaps revisit in the future.

Nice place, but low custumor service. A few weeks before our 3 nights stay they cancelled our booking at the gourmet restaurant - apperently because of health issues in the team. Unfortunate, but this was our main reason for choosing this place. Yet, they offered us no compensation exept a too small price reduction, the possibility to buy an overpriced meal in the brasserie and a welcome fruit bowl. When eating at the brasserie, we couldn't even choose our own eating time. They told us, it was becouse the restaurant was full, but both nights they used that excuse, the restaurant was half empty. The Spa area is nice, but we missed an oppertunity to do some winter dipping in the ocean. The Aufguus is riduculous - since their sauna, dont have an open oven, they just wave hot air around (no steam or oils). They also suddenly introduced extra costs for "energy surcharge" and parking, that was not part of the price we already was quoted. Rooms and common areas are fine, but as you can find them in most 4 star places. Would not reccomend or go again - not worth the premium price thay charge. There are much better places around.

I did not visit the rooms, as i had just a light lunch, on the terrace (quite nice) the club sandwich, for 17euro was a bit disappointing! Small toast bread, cocktail sauce weak and skinny fries, (the same you have in McDonald's) definitely not a nice club to go back for! Service was very nice tough! The ladies are very genuine! The hotel looks nice.
We wanted to go back for a daily spa, but at the third call and nobody could give us an answer in regards of any details, they told us they would have call us back, which they did but 3hrs after when we already optioned for something else! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
