Lovely hotel right at the dunes with beautiful, simple but clean facilities. Highlights are generous breakfast, spa facilities such as pool to swim laps while gazing at the sea, gym, suanas and steam room. The bar on the 4th floor makes watching sunsets nice. Beach access is close. Staff person Karl made our stay 5 stars vs 4. He took time to help make us feel welcome and arranged a private guided tour of the Wadden Sea mudflats, an ecological treasure. Karl went out of his way to help us get to know the island, culture, and hotel amenities, and the recommended local tour guide Jan was amazing. Between them we learned about activities, sights, and restaurants we never would have found. Other staff people were not nearly so interested in anything other than basics so I hope Karl is valued there for how he adds to the experience. We went in early June during the week, so zero children for pool/spa/lounge noise. Just fun doggies.

Perfect Hotel with amazing staff

Top Lage, Top Service, top Hotel.

A wonderful hotel with super-friendly staff, beautiful breakfast, amazingly delicious christmas dinners, a cozy atmosphere, and a spa area that is spectacular when you watch the ice cold waves of the north sea washing on to the beach beneath you from the 90 degree hot sauna.

Now in January a bit emptier, but the staff is very nice and attentive, rooms are a bit small, but everything is available and clean, the 5th floor is great, three saunas (you have to register so that you only use one sauna per room, no problem) , swimming pool and bar (you can just sit down) with a great view of the sea, food: appetizer and salad from the buffet, main course (3 to choose from) and dessert are brought, rather simple.
The atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant, again and again.

Highly recommended, we felt very comfortable. Very good breakfast menu and the 4-course evening menu was wonderful. We also find the visiting regulations in the sauna area to be well regulated in accordance with corona. What was not so nice or nice, that other hotel guests have registered in the visiting appointments for the sauna and then did not show up. That was the case every day. But the entire 5 floor has a brilliant view of the North Sea, just gorgeous. We thank you for the great and attentive service. Bye for now.

Very good service in general, nice rooms and very clean all over the hotel.
Dinner was not bad, but not anything to write home about either. Dinner was included in the price, but drinks was very expensive. A bottle of water costs 5.5 eur.
