this hotel does not have AC so summer nights are hot and sensitive people can't sleep. our room faced the inside area where many birds are constantly active - so it's loud. and because we had to open the window due to heat, we could not sleep due to the noise. breakfast was ok, but not special. very large hotel and very busy

Great hotel but major disappointment with the room. No A/C and windows locked from opening. It was very warm, not good for a hotel in this calibre. Otherwise all ok!

We were lucky the weather was so good we used the rooms only to shower and sleep

Unfortunately, the selection at the evening buffet is not satisfactory. Few German-speaking staff at reception. Few garage parking spaces, no charging option directly at the hotel.

We really enjoyed the hotel. I was in Grömitz with two friends for a few relaxing days. The service in the hotel was very pleasant, the breakfast buffet and the coffee and cake in the afternoon were very plentiful.

A beautiful hotel, right on the Baltic Sea. Highly recommended for a short break. A small table in front of the couch would be nice.

We stayed for a weekend in a room for 3 people and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, the Spa area is beautiful, the rooms are well equipped with a kitchenette and it is completely calm at night. Clean rooms, good shower, hotel right on the beach. No aircondition but we were lucky that it was cool in the night so we could open the windows. Breakfast is to die for! A chef making your omelet the way you like it in front of you.

A super nice place, since 2019 after our first vacation here we feel very comfortable again and again. Swim in the pool in the morning, take a sauna in the house and even jump into the Baltic Sea in autumn. Super good kitchen and very friendly staff. Eating with a view of the Baltic Sea, what more could you want (Meer🏊). We are always looking forward to our vacation here in Grömitz at the Hotel Strandidyll

Really lovely rooms, newly renovated with a beautiful view over the beach. Rooms are big, and you also get a fully equipped kitchen

Best experience I've had in Germany so far. A must do if you want to get your feet wet and whistle as well :). Food was absolutely .........Amazing! I recommend eggs and cheese in the morning. Whoever is cooking behind the scenes deserves a big thumbs up!!!!!!! well done!

You won't find a better hotel at the eastsea. Fantastic place

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy. The sink in the bathroom is perhaps a bit small, but otherwise everything is fine. The food is really good and the breakfast is varied. There is a 3-course menu every evening (costs around €32). The hotel has a truly fantastic view over the Baltic Sea. The roof terrace is a dream! We will definitely come back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and plentiful, and the location and view were excellent. But, as has often been mentioned here, the hotel is simply outdated, and it shows everywhere. A lot of work needs to be done.

The Hotel is in a desperate need of renovation. The rooms and building are really old and in some parts dirty. However, the staff are very friendly and do their best to keep you happy. The breakfast was also good. The location is Perfect with sea view from the room and a 2 min walk to the beach.

The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes and the long bridge on the promenade in 10 minutes. We were there for 1 week, in the apartment room. The room is a good size. The hotel is getting a bit old but it was enough. The cleanliness should be significantly better. It's a bit impractical with a stroller. The food was good, we were told that it was even better before the corona time! On the whole, you can spend a couple of days here. It's just a spa hotel.

The sea breeze is always worth a visit! We were there again after a long time, wonderful! You are welcomed in a friendly manner and every day asked how you are and whether everything is good! We stayed for a long weekend in November. Late check-in with the code sent by email was fantastic. Having the key left in the room was a great idea. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was perfectly fine and very quiet, especially near the parking lot. We had room 11. The breakfast buffet with fresh rolls from the bakery was absolutely brilliant, and everything else on the buffet...

We were here from July 19th to July 29th, 2025. The breakfast buffet was very good, the rooms very nice, and the staff were great. The beach and promenade were just a stone's throw away, and the town was also no problem on foot. If we ever find ourselves in Grömitz again, the Seemöwe would be our first choice.

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Windspiel over the New Year 24/25 including half board. We were able to experience a pleasant, family atmosphere during this time. The Evers family's breakfast and dinner are excellent, and the service is quick and very friendly. The furnishings in the rooms may no longer be quite up to date, but the mattresses are great and the room and bathroom are kept spotlessly clean...

A very familiar hotel with lovely, friendly service in all areas. The Evers family is very helpful and extremely friendly. The breakfast is perfect and the evening menu, prepared by the son of the house, is very creative, high quality and very tasty. We enjoyed our time at the hotel and will be happy to come back.

Nice reception on arrival! 70s charm, but clean and partly renovated room. Quite loud, since the toilet flushing could be heard in the neighboring room and various noises.... So we didn't think the price/room was appropriate!

Definitely my recommendation for the next visit to Grömitz. The rooms are really well equipped, the staff incomparably friendly and the breakfast very tasty. Even the owners personally ask the guests about their well-being in the morning - service is still very important at the Hotel Cammann!

Booked spontaneously, arrived and quite simply: WORLD CLASS. Small family run hotel. I felt very comfortable and relaxed very well. Nice rooms, great service, great location, and for the first time in 2021 you could have breakfast on the wonderful terrace. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.

Cool place. Yummy burgers and a large buffet! Nice staff. Just a bit too crouded around the self service area. My tip would be to extend or move the buffet away from the rute to the bathrooms.

Stunning interior, friendly and competent personnel and an authentic American menu. A lot of attention put into all the details of the venue as well as the food.
