A cute and nice place to take a rest and drink or eat.

They did not clean our room. Reception came up with excuses but not solutions. Extremely poor service. One of the excuses was "House keeping came and knocked the door but you weren't in the room". Doh! Was I supposed to be in the room for the cleaning? Nowhere else but in this hotel you need to be in the room so they can clean it.

We liked the hotel very much. Very beautiful place, good food, nice personal. The only thing, which we didn’t notice by booking, that there is no any Bar/refrigerator in the rooms. cleaning was very good as well, but we run out for napkins, which were in the bathroom, and the cleaning forgot probably to put a new one. And parking could be for free... it’s not a citycenter and not a garage

Cool place. Yummy burgers and a large buffet! Nice staff. Just a bit too crouded around the self service area. My tip would be to extend or move the buffet away from the rute to the bathrooms.

Stunning interior, friendly and competent personnel and an authentic American menu. A lot of attention put into all the details of the venue as well as the food. A super nice place, since 2019 after our first vacation here we feel very comfortable again and again. Swim in the pool in the morning, take a sauna in the house and even jump into the Baltic Sea in autumn. Super good kitchen and very friendly staff. Eating with a view of the Baltic Sea, what more could you want (Meer🏊). We are always looking forward to our vacation here in Grömitz at the Hotel Strandidyll

Really lovely rooms, newly renovated with a beautiful view over the beach. Rooms are big, and you also get a fully equipped kitchen

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy. The sink in the bathroom is perhaps a bit small, but otherwise everything is fine. The food is really good and the breakfast is varied. There is a 3-course menu every evening (costs around €32). The hotel has a truly fantastic view over the Baltic Sea. The roof terrace is a dream! We will definitely come back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and plentiful, and the location and view were excellent. But, as has often been mentioned here, the hotel is simply outdated, and it shows everywhere. A lot of work needs to be done.

The Hotel is in a desperate need of renovation. The rooms and building are really old and in some parts dirty. However, the staff are very friendly and do their best to keep you happy. The breakfast was also good. The location is Perfect with sea view from the room and a 2 min walk to the beach.

The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes and the long bridge on the promenade in 10 minutes. We were there for 1 week, in the apartment room. The room is a good size. The hotel is getting a bit old but it was enough. The cleanliness should be significantly better. It's a bit impractical with a stroller. The food was good, we were told that it was even better before the corona time! On the whole, you can spend a couple of days here. It's just a spa hotel.

Probably ok-ish summerhotel but super-expensive off-season compared to quality/comfort. Charge like a fourstar, oddly rates three, should be two. Stayed at Wyndham in Osnabrück and Clarion Grand in Malmö before/after, both hotels half the price, tripple comfort. Cant recommend to any traveller.

Definitely book a relaxing massage - pure relaxation. Rich breakfast, warm welcome by the landlady. A short walk and you are on the promenade. Good value for money. Between the two houses there is a beautiful terrace and a beautifully landscaped garden, on which the loungers invite you to relax. Very well suited for a short weekend trip to the Baltic Sea.

Family excursion Hansapark with 2 nights in this great hotel. The boss welcomes each guest personally + warmly. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the great wellness area. Booked spontaneously, arrived and quite simply: WORLD CLASS. Small family run hotel. I felt very comfortable and relaxed very well. Absolutely loved the place. The access to the Grömitzer Welle was a nice extra and the food was amazing as well. They even had a nice selection of vegan food. Nice hotel with a huuuge spa. The rooms are small and got no air condition so it can be quite warm to sleep. If you open the window it can be quite nosy depending on time of course. Sea gulls can make a ruckus if you didn't know. Beds are firm and the extra bed for children are super firm, so guess hwo gets to sleep in that one. Perfect service, good breakfast!

The hotel was fine, but the photos are kind of misleading. The swimming pool isn’t part of the hotel itself but is part of a indoor swimming complex. However it is free to go so that’s a plus. When i visited the outdoor swimming pool was closed and we hadn’t been given notice about that.

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Windspiel over the New Year 24/25 including half board. We were able to experience a pleasant, family atmosphere during this time. I have just returned from a week at the Hotel Windspiel. My mother and I felt very comfortable. Central location (5 minutes to the pier), sufficiently large single rooms and bathrooms! Lovingly prepared breakfast with rolls, bread, croissants, egg dishes, cheese, cold cuts, jam, etc. Always fresh fruit. And, and, and! The three-course menu in the evening was certainly worth 5 or more stars. High quality...

Nice staff, good location, great breakfast. Rooms a bit thin, that's stupid if other guests are loud in the hallway at night, but that's not the hotel's fault. There were still love messages from the previous guests on the shower wall, but we're not that great... Absolute plus point: you can arrive very early compared to other hotels.

Had a nice breakfast in the morning. This place provides a nice view to the Baltic Sea. Prices are very reasonable considering the area. Only negative point is the staff as it wasn't noticing us as guests.
