Where to stay in Gunzburg

Everything were perfect. The only point that was missing, at least on my room 103, was the wifi signal that was not there... otherwise my room classification will be 5... ;)

Clean, quiet, easy access, downtown, very good breakfast, many choices of restaurants, a very nice ice cream shop downstairs, friendly stuffs, 10mins drive to legoland

Very nice hotel! I recommend, easily reachable from legoland, which is about 10 minutes by car. We were greeted very nicely and professionally by the staff. The price is right for what I experienced. Breakfast is supreme, everyone can find things to eat. Parking is not included , the fee is 7€ per night Overall great experience, recommended. ✌🏻

Clean, bright hotel with a good breakfast. Only issue was the bike parking which was located in a small room also used for the trash. It smelled horrible.

My family (spouse and 2 teenagers) stayed here for 3 nights. We arrive by train: No car, no bikes. At the Günzburg train station you can get a cab to the hotel... about 15 euros. You can coordinate the pickup when you checkout The location was selected because it is at walking distance to Legoland (about 25 minutes).. or 14 euros and 4 minutes in taxi. It worked great for us. The path is very safe...

Pretty good hotel honestly. The rooms were pretty clean, and rooms were large enough to be comfortable for my Wife and I and two of our kids. Breakfast was included and was a rather good, normal German breakfast, but with lots of choices. Not far from Legoland, and there is a gas station, and a restraunt pretty much in the parking lot. Worked well, and I would go back.

It’s a nice hotel near LEGOLAND clean and had big beds also extra sofa that opens in case you needed , outside of each floor there is a crib for the baby if you need one . Overall it was a good experience and very quiet area !

The hotel is nice and the rooms are very clean and good furnished. The wifi system is confusing (or rather "unique"), I had to go back to the check-in desk to get additional instructions. I made the reservations through the Legoland webpage, not directly through the hotel website, and the check-in process was quite convoluted. It seems that the Legoland-Hotel communication system is not the best.

Very nice hotel located close to the Legoland amusement park. Large clean rooms, beautiful view on the Bavarian countryside. Gluten-free breakfast options available upon request. Will come again!

Came for dinner, all the food was amazing, great break from the Legoland good for sure. Kids fish and chips were wonderful, the beef medallions great too. My ice tea was not really so much an a traditional ice tea, but more of a berry tea. And the service was super friendly and their English was no problem. Definitely going back again.

New construction *** hotel. Single small, single large and double rooms available on three levels in a quiet neighborhood in Gürzburg. Clean rooms, carpet on the floor, water heater, fridge, flat TV. Nice bathroom with shower. Typical swedish buffet for breakfast. Reception open till 10PM. Free parking for guests.

Really nice hotel and friendly service

Very pleasant hotel where the waiters are dressed in old style Bavarian clothes. Nice clean room and close to Legoland, just a bit to far for walking but only few minutes drive.

Nice value hotel very friendly service

The rooms are fantastic- very modern and clean. There is a safe in the room and some space for luggage. My only complaint is the sink: it is difficult to wash your face. The food is also very good.

If you are over 180cm or more than 90 kg you will have problem to take shower here. I never saw a so small place to shower yourself. Im lucky that im a small guy and even for me it was not confortable.

Nice hotel close to Legoland. Little bit expensive compared to Regensburg we slept night before.

Very comfy hotel with great rooms and service. The breakfast buffet is amazing and there's also a family games room where one can spend relaxing hours with kids and family. We lov2d our experience there! Highly recommended! 👍🙂

Ten stars out of five 😁 Staff amazing and in the morning we were treated to a variety of amazing breakfasts 😉 Our room was large, with a cool fan in the middle of summer perfect. The hotel also thinks of a fridge for guests to store their food and various board games for the kids. There is free parking nearby the hotel. The historic centre of Günzburg is a few metres away, there are plenty of restaurants...

Location is off city center. There's a few parking spots right next to the hotel - free between 7PM-9AM. Additionaly there's a free parking lot with plenty of space about 300 meters away. Breakfast is OK, nothing fancy.

Great for travelling with children. Indoor playground (great for having a relaxed breakfast while they play). Big outdoor garden with plenty of things for the children. Children loved it. Staff is very friendly and attentive, rooms are clean. 5 min drive from Legloand, also bus at the doorstep. Free parking on-site. Will be back.

A good place where to stay to go to Legoland just 5 km far, good balance between confort and price. The rooms need some improvemts but they are clean and quiet. The breakfast is good and they take care about little guests.

Very nice hotel with nice (but old) rooms, very kind service personnel and specific spaces for children to play. The restaurant is also good with topic local dishes and healthy alternatives.

Great location, only 10 mins far to Legoland by car. There are big clean rooms and an indoor playground for kids. So good for Family. The reception is so friendly. And the breakfast is good. The price for 3 ppl family is not expensive.

Highly recommended specially for families. Thought is a 3 star; service, breakfast and stay was like a 5 star.

Overall great experience, I only gave it a 4 out of 5 because there is no air conditioning or fans to circulate the air in the room. Our room was pretty hot all night however, the web site states that air conditioning is not included. The amenities offered and customer service were amazing. Would definitle book this hotel again.

PRICE-PERFORMANCE TOP Parking directly at the Hotel! The double bed room was very clean just as the bathroom, only the tiles are a little out of fashion. Bed = great sleep! At Breakfast it was missing at nothing. It's such a great children's corner if the Breakfast is to Lunch. Personnel (man with glasses) was Super Nice!

We were on a Legoland excursion and they have a partnership which is how we found this place. It was a nice hotel and the staff was very friendly. If it were about €75 cheaper we'd have stayed another night.

Arrived in the morning at 8:00 and they still let us check in, even though check in started at 16:00, so we could leave our packages there. Dinner was amazing, we had a tomato soup which was wonderful, try it if you are there and they are serving it! We stayed one night, and we were unlucky. It got suddenly really really really cold... Very nice experience if you or even better your kid is a Lego fan. I imagine the experience for kids is really amazing. On the other hand, the park does lack rides that would be suitable for older visitors. All in all would recommend, but don't get your hopes up too high as the park is also not really that big.

Mostly industrial food of low to average quality. It's tapas like, so that everyone finds something matching their taste. There's more than enough, especially if you bring kids since the portions are the same for all. The steak is reconstructed. The chicken was quite tasty (that was the best of the meal in my opinion). The servers were really nice. The room is extremely noisy.

Great place for kids. Some attractions may catch attention of parents as well. Of course every attraction is hindered by queue, sometimes 40 minutes long Large parking place nearby.

Amazing place for small and big kids. The wait time for the rides is quite long so the Express pass is worth looking into. Or spend two days, there is enough to experience!

All of the displays were amazing, but the lines for rides were just too long. I highly recommend visiting during a week day instead of the weekend. Our toddler didn't handle the hour plus long waits for rides, so we spent most of our time walking around and checking out the different displays.

Great stay. I recommend to visit Legoland out of German public holidays. We were there during Easter and it was overcrowded. Average waiting time for attractions was 1 hour with standard ticket. To see everything takes two days.

We spend the night here on our journey towards Haus Keti in Kleinwaltsertal. Three stated in the family room with five persons. It's was better than we thought it would be, therefore I reward them with five stars.

The hotel itself is located in the heart of the city of Gunzburg, which makes walking around and exploring very nice. The room was clean and fresh towels were provided daily. The parking situation is very bad though. The parking area around the hotel is limited. The breakfast is ok, but it is way overpriced for basically cold cuts and bread. The first day of our stay I paid 24 Euro but the next...

Hotel in Günzburg with a self-check-in machine which is really cool. With or without reservation, you can get your room cards and the WiFi password from there. The room was not very big, but it had a very big desk which we needed. The WiFi worked pretty OK. The breakfast buffet was really good, but they had the same 10 songs from the same singer on repeat for three mornings. I'd switch that up.

Nice hotel, with everything you need to sleep and shower. Clean room recently renovated. Good matras en pillow. You might pay attention to parking, there's almost none free parking in the neighbourhood... But other than that it's ok, located in the very centre of the city, 5 minutes from the Trainstation

Great pit stop for example to Legoland visit. About 15min drive to Legoland by car. Excellent quality price ratio for short one or two night stay.

WOW! you would not expect to find a luxurious hotel/Motel like this. location was weird. but make no mistake! this was absolutely worth the money. huge Room lovely shower TIP! if you like looking at the night sky (star gazing) this is perfect. no light polution here.

Small motel at reasonable price with no staff at the end of nowhere (basically next to the rabbits), meanwhile close to Legoland in case you would visit it... Wifi is available, large screen TV, design of interior is OK! Umfortunately 1. we had uninvited companion during our stay, namely 3 cockroaches and 2 spiders... (probably due to the adjacent field) 2. the led-lighting was hanging from the ceiling...

The rooms are nice, there is fridge what is rare thing in Germany as I have seen :) onlu thing I dont like... In 1 week that we are here no one asked if we need clean towels or something else. Also I dont like that there are way too much bugs for my liking I am staying on the first flor so beatles spiders moskitos you name it... Next time if I have to I would prefer room on the second floor.

Super hotel. Lovely breakfast and brilliant location. Service was excellent and the triple bunk bed in a separate room for the kids was a bonus!

Nice small family hotel. Convenient to visit LEGOLAND and well located in the centre of Gunzbourg, however our room had curtains that insulated little of the morning light so do not expect to sleep long in the summer. Breakfast little varied.

All was perfect.

The location in the center of the Altstadt is amazing. It is only a ten minute drive to Legoland from the Hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the price is very fair as well. I would recommend this Gasthof to anyone who is traveling to Gunzburg. Also, they are very family friendly which sealed the deal for my family and I.

WiFi in rooms didn't work. Smelled like toilet in my room and in general anywhere upstairs.

Large clean apartments a the centre of a very nice German town. Prices are very agreable. The family also owns two restaurants and in one of them you can enjoy a good big German breakfast included in the price. Small pets may be allowed if you call, but don't count on it.

Positives: very spacious (for a family of 4 people), clean, charming location (old town centre), free private parking. Disadvantages: breakfast served offsite (albeit around the corner), bill settled across the street, the interior is a bit old fashioned.

Very clean, warm, cozy place for short stay. For people used to camp, great place with all you can need.

Camping nothing special, especially aimed at campers and caravans and a small field for tents. Great for an overnight stay in transit. Lots of mosquitoes. Busy road with traffic in the morning in front of the campsite. Modest prices (small tent €4,50, person €4,50, car €2,50). You have to pay for internet, very old fashion. Neat toilets. Bread can be ordered for the morning. You can also eat there...

Good clean camping, very nice hosts allowed us just to take a shower without accommodation. Perfect clean shower like at home, 50 cents/6 minutes.
