Arthotel ANA Munich Airport

I have stayed in this hotel and I have to say that the management has been very poor and unhelpful. The two managers do not know how to treat customers with respect. One of the manager came in my room without knocking on the door which I found disrespectful. The two managers require a lot more training and need to learn what customer service means. My colleague had mentioned that a couple broke into his room and tried to rob him. There are no CCTV cameras inside the building. This hotel is not safe and you cannot trust the staff. The bedrooms were also not properly cleaned.

The experience was so bad, the receptionist was actually trying to make my stay as hard as possible for no reason, it was the tall black guy with dreads and a lot of jewelry, I don’t why but he thinks he can do whatever he likes and mess with people for no reason. The hotel is alright but that guy is ruining the whole place down. :(

At this point in time I’m totally short of words! We book the hotel because we were transiting very early in the morning.! We actually did the booking a month before our arrival through Expedia . Upon arrival round about midnight the man whom I presumed is the manager told us that they don’t have us in the system which we found very strange, he out kindness he said because of our little kids he offered us a room with lesser bed and we clamped ourselves just for few hours. Unfortunately when we got to the airport we realized that our daughter’s backpack and Samsung tablet that was gifted to her for her Birthday two weeks ago was forgotten in the hotel. We made efforts to call but no response and a day later a lady contacted me with my email address from the tablet that she had found it and had given to the manager.! I called him and he said the hotel was closing down from 1.1.2024 and if I don’t come get it there would be no way after 1st I made it clear to him that everywhere in Germany is closed and I can’t live NRW for a 200 euros tablet😩😩😩. He gave me his private number and when I wrote he said I should find a way to come get it . I told him that we will bare all cost but the hotel should please send it there’s no other way as we have been to Dhl and Hermes and they don’t pick up and delivery. As I am writing. He doesn’t pick his calls anymore or my calls through the hotel line anymore. Does that means that he is going to keep a guest property now .

The hotel email address apparently he is the one managing it and nothing was down about my complaint. We have had previous experience and the hotel in Bremen sent us my daughter’s doll the next day. I cannot understand why this is an airport hotel of which things like this is bound to happen and he has bluntly refused to send us our forgotten items. He denied that there was any backpack which contained the charges and their toys but please send the tablet he has refused . We will be reporting this to Expedia and hopefully that Expedia can make them do the necessary needful and right thing as a hotel because I think they lack understanding and experience on how to run a hotel especially an airport one from the whole communication he kept dribbling and posting me up like I was encroaching on his privacy rather.

I paid for my room and they didnt document it.. thank god i took the receipt and had it. The reception is inconsistent with their info, arrogant, irresponsible...
If my company wasn't paying the stay, i'd never be here. There are many other coworkers here(50+) that have a likeminded opinion. My advice is to stay away...
The cleaning staff is very nice.
