Great Hotel, great restaurant. The waiter really makes every evening special, an excellent host. Nice rooms, dog friendly, great for children. A lot of room to play around or to play in the pool..The staff goes beyond what you may expect to give you a great time. We will be back for a third time real soon:)

Very clean rooms. But unfortunately the climate in the hotel room was very poor. It was hot and humid. Also, in my opinion the pillows were too large and too small. Furthermore, the hotel itself and its facilities were outdated. Therefore, I would not recommend this hotel.

Everyone at the hotel was helpful and able to answer any questions we had. There was always someone available. Thank you for a delightful stay! Also, the food was delicious!

For our wedding anniversary we were in Landhaus Siebe today. The beer garden was very well attended, which is probably also due to the beautiful surrounding landscape. It feels like vacation sitting there. The food tasted very good and the staff was very friendly and tried hard. We had the farmer's schnitzel, the sauerbraten and the Gabyteller. 😋 DELICIOUS

Hotel is at a really nice and quite place, but the equipment of the rooms is really old. I had room in a first floor and when someone came to that floor through the glass door I heard a loud crack, that was made by the wooden door of my room. I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come

Very quiet at night and a delicious brötchen breakfast buffet in the morning. A nice, modern and a little bit luxurious place to stay in a perfectly quaint town. It was a good place to spend our last night in Germany.

Clean, modern and spatious room, free breakfast and free parking. TV set was unfortunately very small, no bath tub. All in all good place to stay for a business trip on limited budget. Reception is only present until noon, make sure to call in so you know where to pick up the keys.

After a long drive from Calais, I was pleasantly pleased to pull up the hotel. Very friendly lady on reception quickly booked me in. My room is spotlessly clean but not modern but I'd prefer clean over modern and dirty every day. The restaurant was busy but squeezed me in to a very tasty meal with a waitress helping to translate the menu into English. Come and stay and not be disappointed

Just as the first Time we came into the room, surprised us the most is the cleanliness. Especially in the bathroom it was really excellent. We were surprised about the competence at the front Desk was also positive that was us when Logging on to the Wi-Fi quick assist. Good hotel in centre of Bochum. We've been there for one night and all was good. Worker in reception can speak English. Rooms are clear but one thing that didn't satisfied us that was size of bathroom, it was too small and I think if closet was not so huge it has more space for bathroom. Parking is available for 9€ per day which is great for anyone traveling from out of town with a car and need a parking space while out and about on the public transport. Very basic - but expensive - stay. The room was clean but very small and a bit worn. The bathroom was VERY small eg. you could not sit on the toilet without your knees were hitting the wall. We were together for 1 night (23.07.16) in this Hotel and were very impressed! Very quiet and well maintained location of the hotel!! Spacious and modern rooms. Also, a nice and modern bathroom. The Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. The price for the double room, incl. To second Breakfast, was 93 euros, which is cheap, but adequate. Back for more ;-)

The hotel is very close to the railway station. It is is quite new (2 years old now), rooms are very modern and clean. The staff was helpful, but please remember that reception closes at 20. Of course there is a wifi connection all over the place

Conveniently located next to Bochum's train station, the hotel offers nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Breakfast is excellent. You can use the hotel parking for 23€ or use the near by underground city garage at a 1.6€ an hour or 14€ a day. There are a lot of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the area.

We spent the weekend in the Starlight Express, very friendly welcome, clean room, breakfast everything was available, vending machine in the hallway, shortcoming the vending machine only accepts small change Express is only a quarter of an hour, we can recommend it.

Room was oke. Clean. I had a 1 person room you don't see those a lot anymore. But the bed was 120-140 wide so okay. The breakfast was realy nice with salmon fresh baked eggs and to much to choose from. The staff was very nice.

I can talk a lot about the advantages of this hotel, but I want to highlight the most basic ones. The owners of the hotel have made this place so comfortable and cozy that you will feel like at home. Stayed here for some training recently and the hotel is great. It's modern and spotlessly clean and the owners and staff are incredibly helpful We had a dinner with a group of about 30 people on both nights we stayed and the food was excellent. Breakfast was great too. Lots of choice and they would make something for you if you asked I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Velbert
