Where to stay in Heiligenhafen

Our second time at the hotel and always find it to be clean and the staff friendly. Wonderful view and close to the sea. Great location. From our precious experience at the Beachmotel we did not have a great dinner experience and so this time we booked our dinners at different restaurants in the area and had wonderful experiences at the other restaurants. Breakfast buffet looked alright. No earl gray. Very limited selection at dinner buffet. Mostly clean. I didn't sleep well and I am hungry because I couldn't bring myself to eat any of these main courses at the dinner buffet. They did not look appetising, so I just had a little bit desert.

Very interesting hotel concept at the Baltic ocean

Rather busy whilst our stay, nevertheless the staff are very friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. Enjoyed a stay in the Fitness Room. Just a stone's throw from the beach. Views of the Baltic, breath taking. There's also a Beach Bar with seating and music in the afternoon to late evening for those in the mood.

Great location. American style. We didn't eat there but their drinks and coffee selection is very good. Vegan coffees no problem. Staff is friendly and relaxed with personal touch. The comfy seating areas are amazing to sip a coffee or glass of wine with friends or family. Can be empty or very full. Check or book before you go. Bigger issue last time: the waiter gave us a table for 6 just for drinks...

This hotel is fun and quirky. The decor is great and the rooms are light and comfortable. Breakfast was great quality and loads of choice. We will return 😊

Nice place to stay in Heiligenhafen! Cool design concept allover the hotel. Checkin was done and good with a friendly touch and a warm welcome! The Loft room was great of style and comfort! It pretty much caters to summer period as there is not much to do once the cold season sets in.

Stayed here for 4 nights to attend a seminar and had a fantastic time. The service of the hotel is excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff! The rooms are compact and feature an awesome interior design. The "Strandschuppen" and "Spelunke" offer good and affordable bites and drinks. Top Hotel, Top Lage, Top Sevice Top Breakfast

Check-in was super quickly done. Our apartment was super spacious and clean. Because we were three friends we enjoyed the additional guest toilet. The area is beautiful. The breakfast was amazing!!! We'll come back. Only weird aspect: huge window between the bedroom and the bathroom. Other than that all of us were satisfied

Very nice little quaint 🏩 hotel

Top location, right on the harbor. Parking directly at the hotel, free of charge. Very quiet. Very clean, large room on the first floor (room 114). The bathroom is spacious, the shower is a dream. My expectations were exceeded and I will stay here again on my next trip to Sweden. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

this hotel is in the centre of Heiligenhafen and you have walking distance to all there is to enjoy. Rooms are very comfortable with good beds, we enjoyed a room with balcony overlooking the harbour. Breakfast is standard, nothing special but you find what you need, with some scramble eggs, bacon and salmon. The staff is very helpful and an extra pillow isn’t a problem. If you are planning a short trip to Heiligenhafen and want to be accommodated for one (like ours) or a couple of nights, then you have come to the right place. The Hotel Stadt Hamburg has the charm of the 80s and 90s, I would say, everything is tip top clean and tidy, my shower should be highlighted. Super!! Hotel is located on the harbor and is a space saver, very small but nice room, luckily with a balcony :) with a wonderful sunrise 👍 Breakfast is home cooking, not spectacular but enough. The own parking lot 👍tight at the hotel was great. Otherwise very nice staff, is always available as a contact person. We would definitely stop by there again.

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night, because we were traveling from the Netherlands to Denmark (via Puttgarden) We had a spacious apartment with two bedrooms. Perfect for family with 2 children. Downside: no (private) outdoor space (but beach and park are nearby)

First: the location is perfect and gorgeous. The prices are totally ok. Parking directly at the house. Elevator available. Unfortunately, the room wasn't that pretty anymore. The curtains had holes in them, as did the bedding, the carpet has a lot of stains. I think that should be done soon. The bathroom was pretty dated. I traveled there as a child and have now several times with my own child. We have always received a warm welcome, even during the pandemic. For us it is always the first port of call in Heiligenhafen, if only because of the location. The way to the center is a tick further but also easy to do. Parking for a parking lot is also available. Welcoming and very nice waiter. Although the the menu is full of fish (who would have thought this near a harbor) they have a vegetarian menu and are open for vegetarian requests. If you are in town, you should visit this place
