Our second time at the hotel and always find it to be clean and the staff friendly. Wonderful view and close to the sea. Great location. Breakfast buffet looked alright. No earl gray. Very limited selection at dinner buffet. Mostly clean. I didn't sleep well and I am hungry because I couldn't bring myself to eat any of these main courses at the dinner buffet. They did not look appetising, so I just had a little bit desert.

Rather busy whilst our stay, nevertheless the staff are very friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. Enjoyed a stay in the Fitness Room. Just a stone's throw from the beach. Views of the Baltic, breath taking. There's also a Beach Bar with seating and music in the afternoon to late evening for those in the mood.

Great location. American style. We didn't eat there but their drinks and coffee selection is very good. Vegan coffees no problem. Staff is friendly and relaxed with personal touch. The comfy seating areas are amazing to sip a coffee or glass of wine with friends or family. Can be empty or very full. Check or book before you go. Bigger issue last time: the waiter gave us a table for 6 just for drinks...

First: the location is perfect and gorgeous. The prices are totally ok. Parking directly at the house. Elevator available. Unfortunately, the room wasn't that pretty anymore. The curtains had holes in them, as did the bedding, the carpet has a lot of stains. I think that should be done soon. The bathroom was pretty dated. Great location, room is okay. Quite old equipment and rooms in need of renovation. Furniture should be renewed. Cleanliness only okay. Service only available during office hours.

I traveled there as a child and have now several times with my own child. We have always received a warm welcome, even during the pandemic. For us it is always the first port of call in Heiligenhafen, if only because of the location. The way to the center is a tick further but also easy to do. Parking for a parking lot is also available. this hotel is in the centre of Heiligenhafen and you have walking distance to all there is to enjoy. Rooms are very comfortable with good beds, we enjoyed a room with balcony overlooking the harbour. Breakfast is standard, nothing special but you find what you need, with some scramble eggs, bacon and salmon. The staff is very helpful and an extra pillow isn’t a problem. If you are planning a short trip to Heiligenhafen and want to be accommodated for one (like ours) or a couple of nights, then you have come to the right place. The Hotel Stadt Hamburg has the charm of the 80s and 90s, I would say, everything is tip top clean and tidy, my shower should be highlighted. Super!! Hotel is located on the harbor and is a space saver, very small but nice room, luckily with a balcony :) with a wonderful sunrise 👍 Breakfast is home cooking, not spectacular but enough. The own parking lot 👍tight at the hotel was great. Otherwise very nice staff, is always available as a contact person. We would definitely stop by there again.

I cannot disagree with the other bad reviews it was really nice there. Busy place at this night. A chef was missing in the kitchen and a little understaffed. But nice hotel room with a great wiew. Breakfast was good.

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night, because we were traveling from the Netherlands to Denmark (via Puttgarden) We had a spacious apartment with two bedrooms. Perfect for family with 2 children. Downside: no (private) outdoor space (but beach and park are nearby)

Welcoming and very nice waiter. Although the the menu is full of fish (who would have thought this near a harbor) they have a vegetarian menu and are open for vegetarian requests. If you are in town, you should visit this place
