An Unforgettable Stay at Hotel Thomahof Our stay at Hotel Thomahof was nothing short of fantastic. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. It was an unforgettable way to experience the beauty of the Black Forest. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special.

The kindest people are working in this hotel. The food in the restaurant is really good, thanks to chef. And the location is nice, it’s quiet area, but also a playground is close)

Front of house needs attention ! Not a friendly welcome …asked if we could get help with the bags due to bedroom was on the second floor …I ended up having to make 2 trips as they said they were very busy !!!! Overall we would say this hotel is in a perfect position in Hinterzarten but we would say the offer from the hotel is not of good value we are sorry to say !!

This was my 3rd visit to Hotel Thomahof so clearly I have been satisfied. I like the spa and wellness facilities and they were never too crowded. The new rocking beds in the relaxing room are HEAVEN. I think I‘d come back just for them. Food quality is also very good and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The gym is small but had everything I needed and I had it to myself.

We lacked nothing. The service was excellent, the staff always friendly. The food in the restaurant was above average, as was the breakfast. The wellness area is a dream with a wonderful view. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel 100%!

One of the best hotels we have ever visited, perfect service, perfect kitchen, perfect room .. The hotel is located a little outside the center of the village, on a hill. Very good starting point for hikes, Freiburg can also be reached quickly for a visit. All in all perfect!

Well done for the hygiene of the hotel ... professionalism down to the smallest detail. A concern for perfection, which makes this hotel a center of rest where calm is combined with fine and refined cuisine. Add to this a list of local and international wines at acceptable prices. nice hotel not far from Basel - food is nice, rooms are spacious and cosy, staff very friendly - some parts of the hotel are a bit outdated but not a deal breaker.

We stay here when we want to visit Hinterzarten. Excellent buffet frühstück with fresh made waffles and eggs to order. Room were clean and will be updated next year but price for what you get is best in town. Next to several bike & hiking paths as well as amenities in town. Their Ebikes were fun to ride. Amazing peaceful quit place in the middle of the black forest. The hosts are very nice and lovely, Wifi is limited and not working everywhere in the hotel. We will definitely come back here.

Excellent welcoming, simple but quite large and comfortable quiet room. Good infrastructure and average pricing. Nice classical breakfast, free parking and good wifi. Access by train is also very easy. A good dress in this very touristy place.

Haven’t been in hotel it self, BUT the restaurant is really good! Staff is super friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere, good for couples and family, good wine.

My wife and I spent a week at Waldhotel Fehrenbach last September and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean, modern and pleasant to stay in, but not luxurious. We have 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Josef is a great person. We felt immediately welcomed and so well taken care of. He is an amazing cook and loves his job! After visiting many Michelin Star Restaurants all over the world, it's not easy to impress me. Mr. Fehrenbach did so! His incredible knowledge about accompanying wines makes the delicious meals even better. The whole evening was truly inspiring. I cannot recommend this hotel any more highly, it was a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is interesting and you can see great care is taken of it. We booked a room with a separate sitting area and a large bedroom. Both were furnished beautifully, very clean and comfortable. The Hotel is luxurious in every sense. We return here yearly for our wedding anniversary (at least for ten or more years now) so have seen things evolve over time ... This stay was truly wonderful (helped by the weather as well). We staid 5 days at Adler Hotel and this was our fifth time with this superbe hotel. Wonderful client centric service, excellent food, great swimming pools and wellness offer. Superbe location in the Black Forrest with accommodations that are so typical for the region. We love it! We will be back soon!

Food was magnificent. The chef was first class with his dishes to eat.

The rooms are pretty small, and a bit noisy since the stairs are creaking. I happened to get sick shortly after arriving and the staff helped me a lot to see a doctor immidiately. However, there's no wifi in the rooms and the host is not so kind. The hotel posses a small dog and a cat which walk freely in the dining room. The dinner is fixed (there's no menu) but it's prepared on the spot.

2 night stay The hotel is a nice, small mountain hotel. Some rooms are quite spacious, but the ones with single bed are rather small. Keep this in mind while making your choice. Affordable quirky hotel. A bit dated but spotlessly clean. Best 5 Star breakfast! Best of all are Eugene and his wife who are very friendly and welcoming. Eugene came to the rescue when I got late into the village and couldn’t find accommodation. I would recommend this hotel!

Amazing Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful area

Our staywas wonderfuldue to the splendid hispitalityof Thomasand Rebecca. They took care of all our needs and much beyond. The place is warmly decorated. The rooms are very clean nice and comfortable. The breakfast is varied. And above all the hospitality was above expected.

My husband and I stayed here for one night to visit the popular Ravenna Gorge Christmas Market. The hotel was easy to find, had parking out front, conveniently located and quaint. Loved this place! This was a great place to stay. It had its own parking spots and was central to walking for food and groceries. Very beautiful area! We also loved that it was very close the trail we had planned to hike. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was good, and the staff at the place were friendly and helpful!
