great facilities and rooms. excellent service. highlights were the breakfast and the attention ate staff. They helped return a lost watch back to the UK once found and that was a great relief. great to know there are places like these still around were people can be so welcoming and trusted. definitely recommended !

We had a very nice one-night stay at this hotel which offers their style of "full board" as standard. This was my 3rd visit to Hotel Thomahof so clearly I have been satisfied. I like the spa and wellness facilities and they were never too crowded. The new rocking beds in the relaxing room are HEAVEN. I think I‘d come back just for them. Food quality is also very good and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The gym is small but had everything I needed and I had it to myself.

We lacked nothing. The service was excellent, the staff always friendly. The food in the restaurant was above average, as was the breakfast. The wellness area is a dream with a wonderful view. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel 100%!

One of the best hotels we have ever visited, perfect service, perfect kitchen, perfect room .. The hotel is located a little outside the center of the village, on a hill. Very good starting point for hikes, Freiburg can also be reached quickly for a visit. All in all perfect!

Pricey, cute and remote

My wife and I spent a week at Waldhotel Fehrenbach last September and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean, modern and pleasant to stay in, but not luxurious. This hotel is situated in the middle of the village, right by the train station, with gorgeous views all around of the mountains and the forest. Food was magnificent. The chef was first class with his dishes to eat.

The rooms are pretty small, and a bit noisy since the stairs are creaking. I happened to get sick shortly after arriving and the staff helped me a lot to see a doctor immidiately. However, there's no wifi in the rooms and the host is not so kind. The hotel posses a small dog and a cat which walk freely in the dining room. The dinner is fixed (there's no menu) but it's prepared on the spot.
