This is a beautiful hotel in one of our favorite areas in the black forest, Hinterzarten. Parkhotel Adler oozes black forest charm, boasting a superb restaurant, great wellness area with a heated outdoor pool and super friendly staff. It is fantastic for a short magic weekend getaway or longer stay. We absolutely loved it here. Special mentions: the spa and breakfast and truly amazing staff.

My stay was delightful. The breakfast was good for European standards and quite satisfying. Dinner impressed with its quality. I particularly enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi area, appreciating the lack of crowds. The hotel's distinctive architecture, featuring an old historic building connected to more modern buildings via subterranean passages, added a unique charm to the experience.

Their webpage is very rudimentary, so you’re better off just phoning them. The location is beautiful, the grounds perfectly kept, as is the spa and pool. The rooms are spacious and have great views. great facilities and rooms. excellent service. highlights were the breakfast and the attention ate staff. They helped return a lost watch back to the UK once found and that was a great relief. great to know there are places like these still around were people can be so welcoming and trusted. definitely recommended !

My wife and I spent a week at Waldhotel Fehrenbach last September and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean, modern and pleasant to stay in, but not luxurious. We have 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Josef is a great person. We felt immediately welcomed and so well taken care of. He is an amazing cook and loves his job! Diners and breakfasts are delicious and abondant. Rooms are very comfortable and surroundings are beautiful, peaceful. Extremely well located for trekking, cycling. We really recommend. After visiting many Michelin Star Restaurants all over the world, it's not easy to impress me. Mr. Fehrenbach did so! His incredible knowledge about accompanying wines makes the delicious meals even better. The whole evening was truly inspiring. An adorable hotel in a modern style. The reception desk and the entire staff are attentive and very friendly. They also check stuff for you if you have questions about where to go in terms of hiking and bus connections. You get a small smart TV in the room that even has the ability to watch Netflix. Very modern feel, the place just opened. Some parts are still under construction and some services are still not working as expected, may need a few more months to get everything working perfectly.

Service for cleaning room atrocious almost non existent. Did not leave towles, bed made but looked like it had not been made. Front desk service not much better. Staff uninformed of Hotel poloceis and services.

Wonderful hotel in excellent condition and location

所謂的湖景房也衹是站在陽台上能看到左邊的一點點而已，老牌酒店還是會營銷的。需要開車從步行街過來，社恐大挑戰。

All good, nice portions, local and seasonal ingredients. Very nice selection of whiskey and other schnapps! We didn't drink them but surely it's not common. Dessert was great!

Just reviewing the restaurant. This is my favourite restaurant to visit in the Black Forest and it is the service that really makes it for me. The waitstaff is professional and attentive and always have a fitting recommendation from the wine menu. The atmosphere is charming and cozy and the food is always very tasty.

We went for a lovely diner at Restaurant Peterle. They provided a menu that is translated to English which is very nice. They offer daily menus as well. The food is very delicious and they offer a lot of explanation with the dishes. We are coming again!

What a beautiful hotel inside and out, stunning location amidst the Black Forest but only 5 mins walk from the local train station with regular free (with the guestcard they provide free at check in) trains all around the region. We picked this hotel and location for our first vacation with our puppy, and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff, location and offering of the hotel made it relaxing and fun for both us and the puppy. There are lots of things to do in the area and our highlight was the dog friendly lake a short distance away.

I visit this hotel last year and it's still the best hotel I have ever been to! The staff were so kind, the rooms were clean the food was amazing and the view was just like as if you're in a picture! 100% worth visiting

Hotel is located right on the road, therefore the rooms are extremely loud. Pool and sauna are lovely, but very small for the number of guests for the hotel of such size. We couldn’t even get beds in the resting area. Same issue with the breakfast buffet, which has a great variety of choices, but placed in a very narrow passage. It was ok. Food was great. Room temperature was pretty cold the first day and the water wasn't hot, but it got better the next day (after we mentioned it). No soap in the bathroom. Pillow and towels smelled smoky/not good. Easy reachable with public transportation.

Not expensive, so if you're looking for cheap place to set out from, it's about ideal. The only minor issues I've noticed were: 1, the attic rooms get rather hot on warm summer days; 2, the mattresses were far too soft for my liking; 3, they dont really speak English, the young man spoke some English, but the old lady didn't, as for the others I suspect it to be somewhere in between. Front of house needs attention ! Not a friendly welcome …asked if we could get help with the bags due to bedroom was on the second floor …I ended up having to make 2 trips as they said they were very busy !!!! Overall we would say this hotel is in a perfect position in Hinterzarten but we would say the offer from the hotel is not of good value we are sorry to say !!

This was my 3rd visit to Hotel Thomahof so clearly I have been satisfied. I like the spa and wellness facilities and they were never too crowded. The new rocking beds in the relaxing room are HEAVEN. I think I‘d come back just for them. Food quality is also very good and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The gym is small but had everything I needed and I had it to myself.

We lacked nothing. The service was excellent, the staff always friendly. The food in the restaurant was above average, as was the breakfast. The wellness area is a dream with a wonderful view. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel 100%!

One of the best hotels we have ever visited, perfect service, perfect kitchen, perfect room .. The hotel is located a little outside the center of the village, on a hill. Very good starting point for hikes, Freiburg can also be reached quickly for a visit. All in all perfect!

This hotel is situated in the middle of the village, right by the train station, with gorgeous views all around of the mountains and the forest.
