Great restaurant! Some portion size considerations (my starter was like a meal) can be smaller to not waste food. Super fresh, high quality, nice atmosphere, great service. We didn’t speak a word of German and our server didn’t speak English, but we felt super taken care of, and attentive to every detail.

For many years we have only been spending our holidays on Lake Constance in the Hotel freisicht in Hagnau. The hotel and the wellness area are nothing special. In fact, from the photos on the booking the expectation was that the room was in the modern part of the hotel, but unfortunately this was not the case. Amazing relaxing weekend getaway. The owners are laid-back and very friendly. The hotel is pet friendly. Located on the beach front of the town, right next to a bunch of great little restaurants, parks, and the ferry to take you to the other ports on the lake. I stayed here for one week in June 2020, single room. The location in Hagnau is perfect! Very close to the lake and an easy bike ride to Meeersburg, Friedrichshafen, Überlingen.... The hotel room was very comfortable and modern. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was served at the table instead of buffet (Corona), which was no problem. A wonderful stay, I´ll be back!

First, the hotel has very large (family) rooms which is a plus. service, breakfasts are also a plus. The location is not the best, because the hotel is surrounded by houses, and to get to the lake you have to tire a bit.
