Lovely villa with a gorgeous view!

The hotel is lovely and has an excellent breakfast. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. It is 10 minutes to walk into the center square. The view of the lake was beautiful.

Location perfect in front of vineyards looking over town and lake. Was spotlessly clean, our room had a patio too. Breakfast good too. Can walk to lake downhill but uphill on way back. Flat shoes recommended! Highly recommended.

This is the hotel we have settled on using for the yearly trip to the Eurobike show (Aug-Sept). We have stayed at various hotels around the lake area and this is just perfect. Small, very private, extremely clean, nice rooms, close to the fair grounds...all with a touch of high-end Boutique B&B. We go for business every year as mentioned but would recommend it for anyone stopping by the Meersburg area

Great room in the top floor overlooking the lake, superb breakfast (at another location but still great). Hotel is located right at promenade and it is worth its price.

The bike rental is excellent. Very good bike at reasonable price. In fact the bike was so good, it doubled the pleasure of riding along the lake. A big plus: the staff is incredibly friendly. I can't praise the guy enough

We stayed two nights in de guesthouse, which is across the street of the hotel. The room was perfectly suited for a stay during a nice weather holiday. The breakfast is in a restaurant about 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend a morning swim in the lake before the breakfast.

My husband and I, and our two kids, stayed there for four nights this July and it was fantastic. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the small port. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. The breakfast was down the street and the food was fresh and delicious. The staff was also helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

We had a Double Superior room with a lake view. The view from the room was beautiful! The room itself was decently large (by German standards, in my opinion). We were able to fit our stroller comfortably inside the room and we rented a crib (a pack n'play that came with a little baby pillow and comforter) and still had enough room to get around without crashing into everything. Meersburg, a fantastically beautiful place with ancient castles, stairs, trees and squares. Hotel Strand Cafe is a great hotel, beautiful rooms with a view of Lake Constance, a delicious breakfast in the morning under the plane trees where the first sailing boats are already meeting you.

We were eight days in this hotel, very central, had a junior suite with a "castle view" actually more of the inner courtyard, the breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient and nothing to be desired, this hotel has no real reception (also not important) unfortunately none Fridge in the room (minibar), and during the week there was no restaurant and no drinks on the terrace (a shame). Contrary to some negative reviews on Booking.com and Co., we can only say good things about this family-run hotel. We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner and the two hotel owners fulfilled our every wish. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and lovingly prepared and the beautiful rooms were cleaned properly every day. The location and the view of Lake Constance are unbeatable anyway...

Very cosy hotel close to the center of Meersburg. It is the owners who made our stay exceptional, they were very open and helpful, no matter the hour. Breakfast felt like a personal experience.

We spontaneously decided to take a short break at Lake Constance and are grateful to have found the Hotel Eden. Very spacious rooms with a sensational view of the lake. Everything very clean and well-kept. This idyll is family-run by the lovely couple Verna, who take care of all the needs of the guests themselves. They leave nothing to be desired. Cordiality through and through. Thanks for that.

Spontaneously drove there by motorbike and stayed one night there. Were received very friendly, although we had not booked. Bathroom is completely renovated. Everything very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast eggs including coffee are freshly prepared as you want them to be. Great service! The old town is a short walk from the hotel. Again gladly.

The service was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and with a lot of choice including self made cakes, etc. The small garden is also perfect to chill out. The only negative point we could find was that it was hot in the room (with an outside temperature above 35°C). We will definitely come back!

Wonderful, peaceful hotel run by a young couple. The rooms were comfortable, clean and relaxing. The breakfast is extraordinary, made with love, the Bircher Müsli is not to be missed. Very comfy bed. Amazing little hotel! The room itself was cute & had a lovely view of the town & Bodensee. Very comfortable pillows. But the outstanding factors were the attentive & helpful staff who accommodated my husband & I with thoughtful touches. The breakfast was amazing! It doesn't get any better than that. The rooms are big and very clean. The breakfast is very varied and rich. The location is quiet, central and romantic in the middle of the vineyard. The hosts are more than friendly, helpful and attentive. We were allowed to feel at home there, which made our stay very pleasant. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Service was slow. Staff did not look at us for a long, long time. When we finally got a waitress, she said she only took drinks and refused to take our food order. My partner ordered a wine and she served the most expensive wine without Confirming it with us. She also brought me a drink that I didn't order. We had fish. It was good. I wanted saibing fish (or something like that) but the male waiter...

Service was fast and good! We had Schnitzel with fruit curry and Saiblingfilet with herb butter. The herb bitter is a real game changer!! so good Schnitzel with curry was also good. Fruit curry might sound weird at first, but it's actually sweet and flavorful. The prices are just ok.

Had a great stopover in Meersburg. We were winging it and arrived without a reservation. Very busy and were lucky to find a gem on the promenade. Very clean, staff were awesome and returned for dinner after looking at other spots. 1st class thanks to the team.

The chef is an artist. The way she presented the dishes were beautiful and delicious. I returned to the restaurant next day. Unfortunately, it is closed on Sunday afternoon. I will definitely come back next year.

We needed a hotel room at the very last minute. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The room was super spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and very suitable bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the town and was very quiet.

I'll start by saying this hotel was very clean, all the staff were friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was also optimal. It was close enough to the touristy downtown Meersburg area to be convenient but far enough away that it was quiet and tranquil. However, we did not enjoy our stay there overall. I specifically picked this hotel because AC/Klimanlage was advertised on the website...

We felt very much at home in the Hotel Schützen. The room was clean and functional. The entire staff including the boss was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and the way to the shores of Lake Constance can be walked in 5 - 10 minutes. BAD: -Paid for PARKING but wasn't able to used. Apparently the hotel is very aware that locals use those spaces but does nothing to avoid that. If you don't want to be left at late night looking for parking which is extremely scarce, don't use that. Note: the hotel still charged us for the only one night we used the parking space. IMHO they should have offered that for free as an apology -Our room...

While I can't really tell you about the hotel I can say the location is 5 star. It is in the heart of the city 2 blocks from the Bodensee. If you are as lucky as us you may get to see a concert in the court yard. Also a great place to walk up to the old town.

So very surprised with this venue. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms (ours was a family room) was one of the highlights. So hard to get accommodation with 3 ACTUAL beds. Breakfast was a wonderful variety. Location was brilliant. Only drawback was parking being nearly 2km away but I enjoyed the walk through town.
