Wonderfully affordable hotel in the midst of Meersburg Harbor activity.

The easy proximity to the ferry, and the balcony to enjoy the view of the lake and promenade were such welcomed bonuses. Even when it rained we could sit and enjoy the view with the fresh air coming in, with plenty of space. We stayed in the family room, with lake view. Breakfast could not have been better. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

Our property was in a good location and was very nice. The only problem it was a fourth floor walk up.

Very cosy hotel close to the center of Meersburg. It is the owners who made our stay exceptional, they were very open and helpful, no matter the hour. Breakfast felt like a personal experience.

We spontaneously decided to take a short break at Lake Constance and are grateful to have found the Hotel Eden. Very spacious rooms with a sensational view of the lake. Everything very clean and well-kept. This idyll is family-run by the lovely couple Verna, who take care of all the needs of the guests themselves. They leave nothing to be desired. Cordiality through and through. Thanks for that.

Spontaneously drove there by motorbike and stayed one night there. Were received very friendly, although we had not booked. Bathroom is completely renovated. Everything very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast eggs including coffee are freshly prepared as you want them to be. Great service! The old town is a short walk from the hotel. Again gladly.

Meersburg, a fantastically beautiful place with ancient castles, stairs, trees and squares. Hotel Strand Cafe is a great hotel, beautiful rooms with a view of Lake Constance, a delicious breakfast in the morning under the plane trees where the first sailing boats are already meeting you.

We were eight days in this hotel, very central, had a junior suite with a "castle view" actually more of the inner courtyard, the breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient and nothing to be desired, this hotel has no real reception (also not important) unfortunately none Fridge in the room (minibar), and during the week there was no restaurant and no drinks on the terrace (a shame). Contrary to some negative reviews on Booking.com and Co., we can only say good things about this family-run hotel. We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner and the two hotel owners fulfilled our every wish. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and lovingly prepared and the beautiful rooms were cleaned properly every day. The location and the view of Lake Constance are unbeatable anyway...

The service was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and with a lot of choice including self made cakes, etc. The small garden is also perfect to chill out. The only negative point we could find was that it was hot in the room (with an outside temperature above 35°C). We will definitely come back!

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. Our room overlooked the lake so it was great to sit at the window looking out. First, the hotel has very large (family) rooms which is a plus. service, breakfasts are also a plus. The location is not the best, because the hotel is surrounded by houses, and to get to the lake you have to tire a bit.

The Hotel Alpina is a family-run hotel in which we felt very comfortable. The room is bright and friendly furnished. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, the service is very friendly and quick in the service. From the balcony you can see Lake Constance.

The location is great. The room (connecting door) was great. With seating area, balcony and sofa. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean, good quality accomodation that is on a major road. Closing the windows and turning on the quiet and efficient air coditioning, a good nights sleep could be achieved. The breakfast was good, with hot boiled or scrambled eggs. I stayed here for one week in June 2020, single room. The location in Hagnau is perfect! Very close to the lake and an easy bike ride to Meeersburg, Friedrichshafen, Überlingen.... The hotel room was very comfortable and modern. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was served at the table instead of buffet (Corona), which was no problem. A wonderful stay, I´ll be back!

Friendly traditional German hotel in a superb location. Had a one bedroom apartment with a balcony. It was dated but clean with minimum cooking facilities but enough for our stay. Good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Hotel Knaus is an older Hotel directly at the sports harbour. We had the suite under the roof which is a pretty spacious flat that easily accommodates 4 people and offers a terrace with a great view over Lake Constance.

Great hotel at a great location. Five minutes walking distance to the pier serving various ferries including one to Mainau. For many years we have only been spending our holidays on Lake Constance in the Hotel freisicht in Hagnau. This was a good place to stay as home base for a few days of diving. They kindly let us dry our gear in the nearby shed and the food was good enough to keep us coming back every night.

The angus burger was amazing!! It is smoky, juicy, one of the most satisfying burger I have ever had. It is shame that we already had dinner so we were able to eat only a burger as a dessert 🤪 I could have ordered and eaten a lot more food. I highly recommend this resto!!

But three things were standing out in today’s visit: 1.) although it was very busy and many guests queuing in front of the restaurant the service was friendly and efficient. Very convenient for ferry (right next door). Room was on back (west) side of building - very hot with no AC. Opening the window meant bringing in noise and lights from street. Had a hard time sleeping.

It's a shame that the staff doesn't speak German well. We poured the wine ourselves. Didn't have everything on the menu in stock. Personally, I was missing that certain something, the room was so empty and loveless.

And here are the reasons why I didn't give 5 stars: - this isn't a good location for vegetarians and even worse for vegans (fur pillows at the entrance 😐, only one vegetarian option, no vegan) - not a good location for kids (No toy corner or a playground). Great restaurant! Some portion size considerations (my starter was like a meal) can be smaller to not waste food. Super fresh, high quality, nice atmosphere, great service. We didn’t speak a word of German and our server didn’t speak English, but we felt super taken care of, and attentive to every detail.

I loved the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, my room was very comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. Anyone who stays there should definitely go to dinner at least once, as the food and service is very good.

Petershof is a very nice hotel, very friendly service, good location, not far to walk to the city or you could take a bus instead, bus station is right infront the door, clean an friendly rooms and a really nice breakfast buffet! I enjoyed my stay very much!

It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Otherwise you have to park further away and take a bus to the hotel....
