The hotel is lovely and has an excellent breakfast. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. It is 10 minutes to walk into the center square. The view of the lake was beautiful.

Location perfect in front of vineyards looking over town and lake. Was spotlessly clean, our room had a patio too. Breakfast good too. Can walk to lake downhill but uphill on way back. Flat shoes recommended! Highly recommended.

This is the hotel we have settled on using for the yearly trip to the Eurobike show (Aug-Sept). We have stayed at various hotels around the lake area and this is just perfect. Small, very private, extremely clean, nice rooms, close to the fair grounds...all with a touch of high-end Boutique B&B. We go for business every year as mentioned but would recommend it for anyone stopping by the Meersburg area

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. Our room overlooked the lake so it was great to sit at the window looking out. Mini bar fridge, plenty of hanging space, spacious shower room… Breakfast was good and you could eat in the breakfast room or restaurant - both nice rooms. We found it hard to leave this excellent place .

Beautiful place. Right beside the lake. Parking limited. Near all major attractions. Ideal location Lift available! Got a deal for room, but it was facing inwards and behind the kitchen exhaust so you have the chimney oil smell coming in all the time. So kept window closed. Location location location! This is the best possible location to stay in Meersburg. The lake view is fantastic. We stayed in a junior sweet the room was very spacious and had a lovely view of lake from balcony. Many restaurants are close by on the Seepromonade and very convenient to walk around to Meersburg Castle or Vineyard.  Breakfast has a good spread of cold cuts and cheese with some eggs and...

Great location on the water. We only stayed 1 night but wished we had more time to visit Meersburg.

The staff is friendly. Food is good and served quickly. The air conditioning is noisy If you ask to pay upon departure, you will be charged before if you provided your card reference on *******. Really not good ! :) The site is good and lake view very pleasant

Very cosy hotel close to the center of Meersburg. It is the owners who made our stay exceptional, they were very open and helpful, no matter the hour. Breakfast felt like a personal experience.

Personally I found it a bit expensive. The guy who received us was very helpful but on my note on the price based on the structure he resented it and changed his attitude Correct breakfast but glasses

Very nice, humorous and courteous host! Quiet location and rooms. 10 minutes to the old town and lake promenade. Very excellent morning meal. Everything your heart desires! We will be back!

Superb location and great service. We enjoyed being in the heart of the town for a few days. The hotel was convenient for the harbour and eateries as well as the old town up the hill. The room had a balcony overlooking the harbour which we enjoyed for afternoon relaxation. It feels busy at times with the hubbub of the harbour and passing people but it wasn’t noisy. Wonderfully affordable hotel in the midst of Meersburg Harbor activity.

The easy proximity to the ferry, and the balcony to enjoy the view of the lake and promenade were such welcomed bonuses. Even when it rained we could sit and enjoy the view with the fresh air coming in, with plenty of space. We stayed in the family room, with lake view. Breakfast could not have been better. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

Our property was in a good location and was very nice. The only problem it was a fourth floor walk up.

We came here for our anniversary and it was perfect. The rooms are very simple, but clean. The standouts…. Geogie (sorry, I don’t know the spelling) - the exceptional young lady on reception. Had a great stopover in Meersburg. We were winging it and arrived without a reservation. Very busy and were lucky to find a gem on the promenade. Very clean, staff were awesome and returned for dinner after looking at other spots. 1st class thanks to the team.

The chef is an artist. The way she presented the dishes were beautiful and delicious. I returned to the restaurant next day. Unfortunately, it is closed on Sunday afternoon. I will definitely come back next year.

We needed a hotel room at the very last minute. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The room was super spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and very suitable bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the town and was very quiet.

Meersburg, a fantastically beautiful place with ancient castles, stairs, trees and squares. Hotel Strand Cafe is a great hotel, beautiful rooms with a view of Lake Constance, a delicious breakfast in the morning under the plane trees where the first sailing boats are already meeting you.

We were eight days in this hotel, very central, had a junior suite with a "castle view" actually more of the inner courtyard, the breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient and nothing to be desired, this hotel has no real reception (also not important) unfortunately none Fridge in the room (minibar), and during the week there was no restaurant and no drinks on the terrace (a shame). Contrary to some negative reviews on Booking.com and Co., we can only say good things about this family-run hotel. We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner and the two hotel owners fulfilled our every wish. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and lovingly prepared and the beautiful rooms were cleaned properly every day. The location and the view of Lake Constance are unbeatable anyway...

We felt very much at home in the Hotel Schützen. The room was clean and functional. The entire staff including the boss was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and in top condition. Bathroom and toilet were separate and nothing was missing. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location led to a relaxed approach and parking situation. The way to the lake was acceptable.

Really good place to stay for a day or two in this spacious studio! Right on the promenade, with a view to Bodensee lake and Swiss over it :) A bit weird entrance through restaurant, but it just interesting :)

The service was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and with a lot of choice including self made cakes, etc. The small garden is also perfect to chill out. The only negative point we could find was that it was hot in the room (with an outside temperature above 35°C). We will definitely come back!

Wonderful, peaceful hotel run by a young couple. The rooms were comfortable, clean and relaxing. The breakfast is extraordinary, made with love, the Bircher Müsli is not to be missed. Very comfy bed. Amazing little hotel! The room itself was cute & had a lovely view of the town & Bodensee. Very comfortable pillows.
