This hotel has a lovely location and beautiful views of the countryside. Our room was comfortable, but not very big. The staff was efficient. A typical 1980 hotel except for the rooms. The rooms are nicely and well renovated but the rest is old fashioned. The service personal is trained very well and friendly as well as knowledgeable. Nevertheless, the food was not pleasant. The kitchen chef needs more training, therefore 3 stars.

We have often been to the Terrassenhotel, just to eat but also overnight. We really appreciate how courteous and friendly you are served here as a guest. Bellissimo! Wonderful! The location is amazing, in the middle of nature. I slept here for a business trip and the place was quite beautiful. This country inn is committed to cooking with fresh herbs. The service is quick and friendly. The dishes are of good quality and reasonably priced. The horseradish sauce from boiled beef could have tasted a little more intense. We would come again.

This is a traditional gasthof in a nice village surrounded by gentle and beautiful coyntrside. It is obvious that emphasis is placed on the michelin starred restaurant, disregarding the hotel part. Simple details like the fact that there was no soap in the bathroom other than a few free samples (sachets, not even small bottles), or that a socket was broken.

The Hotel is very nice, the full service very nice and accommodating. It's all there, indoor swimming pool, a Spa tub, a Sauna, and infrared. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a balcony. The TV could be bigger. Breakfast was very good. I also had a cosmetic treatment, which I really liked. From the Hotel it is baptized a short walk to the centre of the top. I'll definitely be back !

Rooms are dated. No AC makes this a complete oven at night - next to impossible to get a good night sleep. When you leave all windows and balcony open, there’s people having loud chats until ~11pm. When you call the reception, they tell you it’s past 10pm and there should be no noise, but there’s nothing they can do about it. We recently spent a few days in the Allgäu in the Kur und Aktivhotel. We really liked it. Nice staff, we had nothing to complain about. Thanks to the cleaning staff who put a smile on our faces for one day with their little hearts. Lovingly furnished and clean hotel with nice hosts and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated. It was very nice at the Kräuter Alm; the various salt and herb blends are also a delight to enjoy at home. The iced tea served, freshly brewed by the chef, was a delicacy.

My room was great. The breakfast was delicious and the owner was a fantastic guy, always had a joke and was very friendly. I felt very comfortable.

As always, our stay at the Kräuteralm in Oberstaufen was wonderful. The owner, Hans-Jürgen, and his team are simply fantastic and dedicated to the well-being of their guests. A chef who looks after his guests with love. We'd be happy to return again and hopefully soon.
