We have often been to the Terrassenhotel, just to eat but also overnight. We really appreciate how courteous and friendly you are served here as a guest. The food is always a pleasure, we lack nothing here. Fresh produce and constantly changing menu. It is mostly pleasantly quiet and you have a beautiful view, especially from the terrace. Clean, somewhat outdated hotel. Rooms appropriately furnished. The windows in my room were very dirty, see photo, the wardrobe hasn't been dusted for a long time. Very nice place and amemities

A typical 1980 hotel except for the rooms. The rooms are nicely and well renovated but the rest is old fashioned. The service personal is trained very well and friendly as well as knowledgeable. Nevertheless, the food was not pleasant. The kitchen chef needs more training, therefore 3 stars.

The hotel is very clean and looks charming even if it's not new, there are small details that makenyour stay confortable, the way to come up to the hill is not easy for at winter time, I would highly recommend to use an all wheel drive car to come. Were very satisfied! The room was very clean, the staff from the boss to the room service were very friendly. Breakfast and restaurant food delicious. The only downer was the relatively poor TV reception and the limited selection of channels. Maybe there can be improvements. Will definitely be back.

Bellissimo! Wonderful! The location is amazing, in the middle of nature. I slept here for a business trip and the place was quite beautiful. This country inn is committed to cooking with fresh herbs. The service is quick and friendly. The dishes are of good quality and reasonably priced. The horseradish sauce from boiled beef could have tasted a little more intense. We would come again.

This is a traditional gasthof in a nice village surrounded by gentle and beautiful coyntrside. It is obvious that emphasis is placed on the michelin starred restaurant, disregarding the hotel part. Simple details like the fact that there was no soap in the bathroom other than a few free samples (sachets, not even small bottles), or that a socket was broken.

Family hotel in Oberstaufen. Large rooms and very quiet. You can sleep with the window open without any problems. Hearty breakfast with classic rolls, fresh fruit and delicious scrambled eggs. It was great that our four-legged friend was also welcome.

A basically nice hotel with a nice smaller wellness area. As a young couple, we consciously chose this hotel instead of the large wellness bunkers and were not disappointed. The food was very good and we were treated kindly. Gladly again.

Room excellent. Service for dinner on June 29, 24 was very good. Breakfast service not available. Reason: We were there for breakfast on Sunday June 30, 2024 at 8 a.m. Our dishes weren't cleared until we finished breakfast. We did this ourselves. The service didn't start until around 9 a.m.

This place has arguably the best Chef in this part of Germany. I stayed for 4 nights with all inclusive. Not a single dish was below par. I am coming here again just for the food and the Spa treatments.

The 11-day Schroth cure at the Kronenhof were just super nice again. I'm already looking forward to my next Schroth cure in 2022 in the Kronenhof. I think it's a shame that the "Oberstaufen Plus Card" is no longer available.

Great hotel that was able to combine tradition and modernity in a good balance. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The location of the hotel is very quiet, the meadow behind the house offers opportunities to relax. Nevertheless, you can walk to town in 10 minutes. The Hotel is very nice, the full service very nice and accommodating. It's all there, indoor swimming pool, a Spa tub, a Sauna, and infrared. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a balcony. The TV could be bigger. Breakfast was very good. I also had a cosmetic treatment, which I really liked. From the Hotel it is baptized a short walk to the centre of the top. I'll definitely be back !

It is a nice local place with really friendly and helpfull staff. make sure you arrive before 8pm because you need to get your keys and the reception close at 8pm.
