The entire hotel exudes improvisation. The reception desk seems constantly overwhelmed. We had to significantly amend the bill because it didn't show the agreed price—which, in my opinion, was already very high.

Oberstaufen is worth a visit. Everything at the Kräuteralm is excellent, from the owner to the staff. We've never felt as comfortable as we did here and have already booked again for next year. Rosi and Wolfgang

It was very nice at the Kräuter Alm; the various salt and herb blends are also a delight to enjoy at home.
The iced tea served, freshly brewed by the chef, was a delicacy.

My room was great. The breakfast was delicious and the owner was a fantastic guy, always had a joke and was very friendly. I felt very comfortable.

As always, our stay at the Kräuteralm in Oberstaufen was wonderful. The owner, Hans-Jürgen, and his team are simply fantastic and dedicated to the well-being of their guests. A chef who looks after his guests with love. We'd be happy to return again and hopefully soon.

Well-kept hotel in a quiet location. Value for money was very good. Had an apartment. Very friendly staff/owner. Would highly recommend. I'd love to come back.

Very cozy and nice atmosphere. Breakfast buffet was good, very friendly owner. Several "dining rooms", so not overcrowded.
