This country inn is committed to cooking with fresh herbs. The service is quick and friendly. The dishes are of good quality and reasonably priced. The horseradish sauce from boiled beef could have tasted a little more intense. We would come again.

This is a traditional gasthof in a nice village surrounded by gentle and beautiful coyntrside. It is obvious that emphasis is placed on the michelin starred restaurant, disregarding the hotel part. Simple details like the fact that there was no soap in the bathroom other than a few free samples (sachets, not even small bottles), or that a socket was broken.

What a wonderful hotel with very personal and lovely service! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every second. It was my boyfriend's birthday and he received a few lovely surprises. The 11-day Schroth cure at the Kronenhof were just super nice again. I'm already looking forward to my next Schroth cure in 2022 in the Kronenhof. I think it's a shame that the "Oberstaufen Plus Card" is no longer available.

Great hotel that was able to combine tradition and modernity in a good balance. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The location of the hotel is very quiet, the meadow behind the house offers opportunities to relax. Nevertheless, you can walk to town in 10 minutes. The Hotel is very nice, the full service very nice and accommodating. It's all there, indoor swimming pool, a Spa tub, a Sauna, and infrared. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a balcony. The TV could be bigger. Breakfast was very good. I also had a cosmetic treatment, which I really liked. From the Hotel it is baptized a short walk to the centre of the top. I'll definitely be back !

Rooms are dated. No AC makes this a complete oven at night - next to impossible to get a good night sleep. When you leave all windows and balcony open, there’s people having loud chats until ~11pm. When you call the reception, they tell you it’s past 10pm and there should be no noise, but there’s nothing they can do about it. If so I wonder if I should shout at those guests myself or call police ...

The hotel is in a quiet part of town adjacent to a beautiful park. We had a balcony room and the balcony was one of the biggest we have ever had with a view to the park and hills beyond. We recently spent a few days in the Allgäu in the Kur und Aktivhotel. We really liked it. Nice staff, we had nothing to complain about. Thanks to the cleaning staff who put a smile on our faces for one day with their little hearts. Lovingly furnished and clean hotel with nice hosts and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated. It was very nice at the Kräuter Alm; the various salt and herb blends are also a delight to enjoy at home. The iced tea served, freshly brewed by the chef, was a delicacy.

As always, our stay at the Kräuteralm in Oberstaufen was wonderful. The owner, Hans-Jürgen, and his team are simply fantastic and dedicated to the well-being of their guests. A chef who looks after his guests with love. We'd be happy to return again and hopefully soon.

The apartments are simply beautiful! Spacious, luxurious, and furnished to a very high standard. The breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious, and the reception staff is simply lovely. The wellness area on the ground floor is very inviting with its two saunas; we also enjoyed two massages with a wonderful therapist. Our stay at the Hochgrat from May 16 to 23, 2025, was fantastic. We stayed in the "Bärengrube" with five people and the Classic Chalet "Hohenegg" with two people. The friendly, attentive staff, the delicious breakfast, the cleanliness, and the location are what made this hotel stand out for us. It was an all-around fantastic, pleasant, and eventful vacation. We will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful stay in the Hochgrat and in the chalet. The breakfast was prepared with so much love every morning and you could taste it. The chalet in the mountain was clean, modern and was very well equipped. I didn't miss anything. I'd love to come back.

We felt very comfortable and in good hands. Always friendly and always striving for hospitality. We have stayed in four and five star hotels. A team that can stand up to any four and five star hotel. Then, of course, the fantastic surroundings come into play. Pure relaxation makes you want more. There is no downside. A small fridge in the room would be beneficial.

The rooms and their facilities are showing their age. But everything was very clean and there were fresh towels every day. For breakfast you had to go 300 m to the Hotel Adler, there was also the reception. Parking spaces were a little tight on some evenings. The prices can only be justified with the current strong demand for overnight stays.

Excellent family run hotel. We had the "feel-well" package with breakfast, dinner and afternoon cake&coffee. Dinner is excellent, you can tell that the chef (dad of the family) is putting his heart into it. The mom, running everything else, takes excellent care of the guests. We had a very good room with a pleasant balcony and a great view. We also had a very good dinner and breakfast - the beet gnocchi in particular was exceptional! The reason for a 4 rather than a 5 rating is that there is no air conditioning or fan. The room was very hot and at this price point at least a fan should be made available.

This hotel blew me away. The view from my hotel room was something else ( Room 44 ) When the guy opened the door, I thought I'd been put in the King's suite.
