We had another wonderful stay at Hotel Bayerischer Hof — just as on our previous visits. The service was warm and attentive, the breakfast was EXZELLENT, and the atmosphere of the hotel is so charming and inviting. It really feels like a home away from home, and we always appreciate the care the staff puts into making guests feel welcome.
The only downside this time was that our room faced the church, and the bells were very loud, ringing every hour. Even every 15min.— Also late night and early in the morning. Unfortunately, this did disturb our sleep quite a bit.
That said, we still truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend the hotel. For light sleepers, it might be worth requesting a room that does not face the church.

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of the city! Welcome team and personal was very caring to us. Breakfast is just amazing and various.
The hotel is set in the village of Oberstaufen, which is situated in an extremely picturesque valley. The small town of oberstaufen is a pretty place with a good selection of restaurants and a direct train to Munich/Zurich.
The Bayerish Hof hotel itself is great - we really enjoyed the cosy Alpine type rooms, the fantastic breakfast buffet (extremely high quality fresh local produce) and a great spa area (pool/steam/sauna). Also the hotel feels much less touristy than many hotels across region, a really nice authentic feel to it.
In the summer we enjoyed the wonderful hiking in the area (and toboggan run), while in the winter there are a number of smaller ski resorts all within 30 minutes of the hotel.
This hotel is hugely recommend as a base to explore the region, we’ll be back!
The staff was friendly. The room very clean. I would definitely stay there again.
Surprised to find there wasn't a charging station - it was on the list of amenities when we selected it.
The room was extremely warm - no air conditioning or fans available.
Slightly chaotic breakfast - staff struggling to keep food and juices in stock. Sorry to say we are not coming back 🙁
