We 2 adults a dog stayed 3 nights now in room 34 with the sun rising. There is nothing to complain about, everything was clean, the family was super nice, there were even towels for the dog. We liked the facility, Klais is a lovely place. It was 4 great days

Very nice and friendly hosts and every morning there was a delicious breakfast freshly prepared. In addition, a nice chat and tips for excursions in the region. You just feel good here! We were in "high flight". You really have everything you need and a nice balcony. Everything is very clean. The hosts are super nice and welcoming. You have great conversations and get good tips. Needless to say, the breakfast is world class. If we go back to the area we will definitely come back here!

This was the second time we stayed with the Clauss family in Klais. We felt very comfortable and welcome again this time. Magnificent Zugspitz panorama, a super Playground (with many vehicles and Pendelwipppe) and horse paddock next to it. The food was also good. For us it was the trip from Italy, the perfect grid.

Definitely worth the price. We loved the food, room and the stunning view. Awesome spa offer. But we were not impressed by the reception work. At our arrival we didn’t get proper information about our stay and we got wrong purchases on our bill in the end. We didn’t get the offer to bring the luggage to the room. My wife and I had one of our best vacations at the Bäckeralm. We were lovingly received, lovingly hosted. At breakfast every wish was fulfilled. The room was very comfortable, the bed excellent and the view upon waking was priceless. We'll definitely be back.

You beautiful surroundings is well known. But Ms. Holzer, the owner of the Bavaria guest house and holiday apartment, is the best thing that can happen to you. Totally nice, friendly and open. We are regular guests at the hotel and always feel very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, the food is of high quality and the choice of food is creative. The rooms are nice and clean. The indoor pool is a real highlight for us. Gladly again 😊

An excellent location as a good starting point for hikes, bike rides or to walk through the small village. The apartment was clean and the hostess was very friendly. Chickens live on the farm, so you could get fresh eggs. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

The view of the Karwendel mountains is breathtaking. You can relax well, since the house is slightly above the village. Hiking trails are very possible from the accommodation and you are welcome to leave the car at home. Ms. Gerlach is characterized by her composure and willingness to help.

have stayed a few times at this B&B in both a double room and the two bedroomed apartment upstairs and on all stays the accommodation was spot on. The breakfast is by far the best continental i have had and the location is ideal for exploring Mittenwald. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. I actually stayed in one of the apartments David and Alie manage. It was a great location, easy to get to the center of town and the grocery store. The flat is nestled into the hillside and has great security, good privacy, a nice patio, a workable kitchen and enough space to explode luggage and then repack. Excellent stay at Gastehaus Sonneheim!!! Staying here was absolutely perfect, from the cozy rooms, to the lovely views, and the delicious breakfast served every morning. The staff were very friendly too! We just wished we had stayed here longer because it was just so nice. Next time we are in Mittenwald, we will definitely be staying at Gastehaus Sonneheim again!!

Initially we chose this guest house due to the location close to the train station. We were very pleased with our stay. We got a top floor room with twin beds. It was more like an apartment having a bedroom area, living area with table, bathroom, and private balcony. The typical German breakfast was very good. It was an easy walk to everything in town. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was lovely, the staff friendly. Excellent location right in the middle of town . Great views of the mountain from our balcony. The only downside was that we roasted over night with their winter blankets on.

Rooms are large, very clean and well maintained. We had a room with a big terrace facing south. The hotel is very quiet and has a cozy atmosphere.

This Gasthaus is extremely well run; the breakfasts are excellent, and the views from half of the rooms are among the best I've seen in Europe. Hiking from here is fantastic, as numerous lakes and a minor river gorge are within easy walks, although they do require some reasonable uphill hiking. You will enjoy the stay unless you are exceptionally picky.

Very nice hotel just on the edge of Mittenwald. It is 5 minutes walk to reach the center for restaurants and shops. Nice and tidy rooms with a fully equipped kitchen and balcony with a view on the Karwendel mountain.

I spent a week in this house and me from the first day felt very comfortable. Attention received to my room and through the house. Very I enjoyed Sauna and swimming pool,all in perfect condition. In the morning with a decent Breakfast the day will start,no Problem in the house, larch slope. Was very satisfied and would like to thank the attentive staff and the host family.
