We 2 adults a dog stayed 3 nights now in room 34 with the sun rising. There is nothing to complain about, everything was clean, the family was super nice, there were even towels for the dog. We liked the facility, Klais is a lovely place. It was 4 great days

Very nice and friendly hosts and every morning there was a delicious breakfast freshly prepared. In addition, a nice chat and tips for excursions in the region. You just feel good here! We were in "high flight". You really have everything you need and a nice balcony. Everything is very clean. The hosts are super nice and welcoming. You have great conversations and get good tips. Needless to say, the breakfast is world class. If we go back to the area we will definitely come back here!

This was the second time we stayed with the Clauss family in Klais. We felt very comfortable and welcome again this time. Definitely worth the price. We loved the food, room and the stunning view. Awesome spa offer. But we were not impressed by the reception work. At our arrival we didn’t get proper information about our stay and we got wrong purchases on our bill in the end. We didn’t get the offer to bring the luggage to the room. We stayed here as a couple for several days. A fantastic, quiet location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The delicious, generous breakfast offered something for every taste. Very nice hiking trails directly from the accommodation, restaurants are nearby and you get a list of which ones are open on which days. Rooms were very nice and clean and had a very nice view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will go there again next time

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Gröblalm. We come to this area fairly frequently for skiing in and around Garmisch, although this was the first time we'd stayed in Mittenwald as a base. For skiers; The Gröblalm has a ski cellar - we didn't use it - we just leave skis in the car. Superb stay at this hotel. Room was extremely comfortable, clean and with a great view. Staff were friendly and food was absolutely superb. We usually eat out in the evening but stayed in most nights instead to eat. The hotel is in a location where it’s possible to start many walks. All are well signposted. Overall, excellent value for money.

The hotel was good with a balcony giving a beautiful view on the mountains. At arrival a booklet was received with many walking trails, several ware easy to reach walking from the hotel. Many others could be reached by car or by bus with short distances. A daily diner was available for 5 out of 7 days for guests of the hotel only, with very reasonable prices.

This is the second time we stayed there. A very nice base for visiting the region. The room was very clean, the breakfast wonderful, and the owner was very friendly and spoke good English. The dinner was also excellent.

I was in Mittenwald for on night, as a brake between hikes. I’ve loved my time in this hotel. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was good. They have provided me also with AlpinCard, that gave some discounts in the facilities including free public transport ticket. Just a small recommendation to explore local cable cars. You can also climb Kranzberg hill to watch sunset.

We were only in Mittenwald for one night, but the Hotel Rieger was outstanding. Friendly, helpful front desk staff, clean and spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast with tons of options. The free afternoon cake and coffee was great too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to return to spend more time in Mittenwald in the future.

The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly. The hotel can do with a renovation as the room decor and furnishings are somewhat dated, however you will still be comfortable and have a good stay. The pool was quite nice, but you can expect it to be noisy with kids. Not much of a view from the pool in the Keller. Remember to bring your own house shoes to go swimming. One of the best places I've ever stayed at.

I've stayed here 3 times and would definitely return. It is well located, the rooms are spacious(last time I stayed in a single room and even this one was good size), well appointed, clean, bright. Breakfast isn't very varied but that for me isn't an issue as it had what I would normally eat anyway and good quality, fresh.

Fantastic stay, staff is extremely nice and helpful. Hotel is a very short walk to Obermarkt and about 10 min from Karwendelbahn.

What a great little hotel! Beautiful views, well appointed room. Very spacious, especially for European hotels. Memory foam mattress. Parking lot large enough to park a large SUV. We had a family room with a king bed and 2 twins with plenty of space to move around and stow our luggage.
