Its a great place to stay, breakfast was okay, but the hotel itself is nice, the seevice is good. Everything is just outside the hotel. Best location.

We have been guest at this hotel for 7 times and even this year despite COVID-19, we are planning to return to this wonderful location. Rooms are large, very clean and well maintained. We had a room with a big terrace facing south. The hotel is very quiet and has a cozy atmosphere.

Good, Great view. The rooms are nice but in real need of renovation. Rotting door frames for example. Worn carpet. Corroding faucets. To name a few.

Great location of hotel on pedestrian area in center of town. Room in front of hotel was too loud for us. Would book one in back next time. Rooms need some new fabrics and carpet, things a bit worn. When you visit Mittenwald, you just have to try a Riesenwindbeuttel here. And yes they are HUGE and very filling.

If you only came here for the views, you certainly wouldn’t be disappointed, but may need oxygen. Ask for the menu, and you’ll think it’s Christmas whatever time of year you did: memorable dishes; signature desserts; every cake a ‘birthday’ treat and perfect service. Have only eaten here, but the rooms and package deals look luxurious. Restaurant is amazing. Servers are friendly and fast. Food is great. Outside terrace seating has spectacular views of the valley below. Plenty of free parking available and hikes nearby if you need to walk off a few of your tasty morsels.

I've stayed here 3 times and would definitely return. It is well located, the rooms are spacious(last time I stayed in a single room and even this one was good size), well appointed, clean, bright. Breakfast isn't very varied but that for me isn't an issue as it had what I would normally eat anyway and good quality, fresh.

I ate here after an all-day hike up on the mountain. Dinner was tasty-jagerschnitzel with wild mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle. It hit me in the happy place. Granted, I was starved and exhausted, but it worked.

The rooms are very week appointed for the price, the location is very central and the breakfast included a large selection of fresh ingredients (even fresh pawpaw in the frit salad! ) But what really impressed me was the staff's willingness to go the extra mile. Excellent stay at Gastehaus Sonneheim!!! Staying here was absolutely perfect, from the cozy rooms, to the lovely views, and the delicious breakfast served every morning. The staff were very friendly too! We just wished we had stayed here longer because it was just so nice. Next time we are in Mittenwald, we will definitely be staying at Gastehaus Sonneheim again!!

Initially we chose this guest house due to the location close to the train station. We were very pleased with our stay. We got a top floor room with twin beds. It was more like an apartment having a bedroom area, living area with table, bathroom, and private balcony. The typical German breakfast was very good. It was an easy walk to everything in town. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was lovely, the staff friendly. Excellent location right in the middle of town . Great views of the mountain from our balcony. The only downside was that we roasted over night with their winter blankets on.

I was in Mittenwald for on night, as a brake between hikes. I’ve loved my time in this hotel. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was good. They have provided me also with AlpinCard, that gave some discounts in the facilities including free public transport ticket. Just a small recommendation to explore local cable cars. You can also climb Kranzberg hill to watch sunset.

We were only in Mittenwald for one night, but the Hotel Rieger was outstanding. Friendly, helpful front desk staff, clean and spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast with tons of options. The free afternoon cake and coffee was great too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to return to spend more time in Mittenwald in the future.

The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly. The hotel can do with a renovation as the room decor and furnishings are somewhat dated, however you will still be comfortable and have a good stay. We absolutely loved our stay at Gästehaus Edlhuber. We walked there from the train station without a problem, and our host was very friendly and flexible the whole time. And the room! An excellent location as a good starting point for hikes, bike rides or to walk through the small village. The apartment was clean and the hostess was very friendly. Chickens live on the farm, so you could get fresh eggs. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

The view of the Karwendel mountains is breathtaking. You can relax well, since the house is slightly above the village. Hiking trails are very possible from the accommodation and you are welcome to leave the car at home. Ms. Gerlach is characterized by her composure and willingness to help.

Very nice, small, family-run Hotel. You are making very effort that, for the holiday of luck, nothing is missing. You will receive a warm welcome with a welcome drink. The Spa area is very stylish. The Hotel is centrally located in the middle of the forest. We have us felt very comfortable and our next holiday will be spend in the middle of the forest again in the Bichlerhof.

This Gasthaus is extremely well run; the breakfasts are excellent, and the views from half of the rooms are among the best I've seen in Europe. Hiking from here is fantastic, as numerous lakes and a minor river gorge are within easy walks, although they do require some reasonable uphill hiking. You will enjoy the stay unless you are exceptionally picky.

I spent a week in this house and me from the first day felt very comfortable. Attention received to my room and through the house. Very I enjoyed Sauna and swimming pool,all in perfect condition. I actually stayed in one of the apartments David and Alie manage. It was a great location, easy to get to the center of town and the grocery store. The flat is nestled into the hillside and has great security, good privacy, a nice patio, a workable kitchen and enough space to explode luggage and then repack.
