Lovely hotel! Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, and you can have dinner if you like. They also have a nice selection of Mosel wines for dinner, and are located very closely to the Mosel river itself.

Friendly staff Very clean rooms, with good beds. Decent and nice sanitary facilities. The only downside on my side was the too soft pillow, but maybe if I had asked for another and they have it, they would certainly help you.

Clean and cozy rooms, altogether a bit old-fashioned for my taste. Very nice management, there are delicious wines. The breakfast is nothing special but reasonably solid.

I had a great time at the hotel, and especially liked the interior-- it was very warm and hospitable. the only thing i did not like, was the window peering into the toilet/bathroom. breakfast was simple yet lovely, and the staff was very kind and helpful.

We were the second time with a group there. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is adequate and you always get to. Unfortunately, the boss of the house several riders of our group was very unfriendly compared, so that one left right next morning. The statement that same morning was just as unfriendly and has us very upset. We will not book here anymore.

We got a table for dinner at short notice in this very nice restored hotel/gastronomy. You can taste the fresh ingredients, the kitchen cooks with love. Meat from the region from beef to game. The staff is very friendly and competent. If you want to EAT well on the Moselle, this is the place for you. We'll be back for sure.

We were served super friendly and the food was delicious. The restaurant was fully booked and yet we all had our food quickly and at the same time. Ambiance and atmosphere very nice. Our north German friends were thrilled...also by the fine wines. We'd love to come back.

Top accommodation, fantastic cleanliness, rooms, food and service. Very nice and present hosts. The wine list is also highly recommended 😍 The country inn is maybe 100 meters from the Moselle. We were in Cochem for 5 days and the hotel is absolutely great! The modernized rooms are well equipped and clean! A family atmosphere! Great service and delicious food! The way to the hotel is a bit exhausting but even that doesn't deter us we will be back!

Nice hotel, with neat and very clean rooms. Hotel is located quite far from the city center about 15 min. walk. The advantage of this is that you are not in the hustle and bustle. A great hotel. Room comfortable..if u go ask for room 20 with a view over the Mosel river. Water level was very high due to much rain. Food was very good wholesome fare with plenty of it. The staff was very friendly, they asked several times if everything was ok. The hotel was a short 5 minute drive from Cochem, beautiful vineyards right behind the hotel. For me personally it is very important that the rooms are super clean. I have never seen such a clean hotel room. We had a nice terrace overlooking the vineyard. We will definitely go back!

Hotel Villa Vinum was a great home base while we were in Cochem. The rooms were very clean and Sebastian and his staff were fantastic! Friendly service , good rooms and great breakfast. Limited parking in the back ,but hotel owner allowed us to park right in front at the single spot at the entrance ! Does not have an elevator so it takes some effort to go to the third floor. Near to the river Moselle and 5 minutes walk from the city center. Cochem is a very beautiful place . Being able to make a short, scenic walk across the bridge to go to the town center was perfect, because I didn’t have to deal with the limited parking. This location also made for the best view around. Overall comfortable stay— staff is friendly, rooms have the amenities that you’d want, bathroom’s cozy, everything’s clean, etc.

It may have been our bad luck, but the people next door and upstairs were loud enough to muffled talking, rubber soles on the stairs, foot steps and what sounded like furniture moving. I woke to this around midnight and 2am. One of the pull out sofas didn't "lock", so I had to use the small table...

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, it was roomy and very accomdating. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Parking is right outside of the hotel for 5 euro per day.

We had a great stay in this hotel. Rooms and ensuite badrooms are spacious. A small fridge would have been a plus. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices but I would have liked some more pastry. Free parking places in front of the hotel available.

So if you think you will find a luxury hotel here, you will be disappointed. But EVERY room has a view of the Moselle and Cochem. The ambience is actually getting a bit old, but if you don't need anything fancy, you'll be completely satisfied here, just like we are/were. We would book it again.

The nicest place to stay in Cochem. Stayed here for two nights. The family who owns the hotel could not have been nicer. The older woman patiently helped me find a taxi. Recommend to any Americans looking to stay in Cochem.

Excellent lovely friendly place. It's not 5 star, but I get the feeling the owners preferred friendly and attractive and a homey feeling to 5 star...which they achieved. We felt really comfortable in this hotel.

It wasn't a bad place to stay for the night. The bridge was very close and so was the castle. There are plenty of restaurants across the bridge. Parking was great as well. The only negative thing I have to say is that the WiFi there is horrible. If you have kids or you want to relax and watch something on your laptop or IPad, Good Luck!

We arrived late so the hotel owners communicated to us that keys would be self pickup. We loved that. We slept great and rose to adventure into this amazing city. The house is lovely from outside and inside, well equipped and our spacious apartment included a terrace. Staff was very friendly. Location was great for walking, near the river (no river view though) and wine yards. Close to Cochem and many small villages around.

We spent a wonderful holiday in the "Alten Kelterhaus". The apartment was very clean, nicely and modernly furnished. The landlords took very good care of us and always had an open ear. From the place of residence you can take many beautiful hikes. We would love to come back when we go on vacation to the Moselle again.

We have chosen the accommodation for the second time and feel confirmed again. Modern and lovingly furnished holiday apartment. The location of the house in Ernst is ideal as a starting point for hikes through the vineyards or along the banks of the Moselle. The 5 km to Cochem can also be easily walked on foot. Alternatively, with the guest card, everything can also be easily reached by public transport...

Excellent facilities for a wheelchair user. The best we have had in Germany! Ground floor apartment with large bedroom with large wet room ensuite, and second double bedroom with it's own ensuite shower. Good kitchen and living room. Parking just outside the front door.
