Extremely warm welcome at reception with full information given about breakfast times, wifi, etc. The staff just couldn't do enough for the guests, from reception to service to housekeeping. Our waiter had a very wry sense of humour, which fit right in with us :) The room was impeccably clean and the bed so comfortable! Thank you to the entire Hotel Brunner team for making my stay so enjoyable.

Hotel Brunner is perfectly located in the old city center of Amberg, just 5-10 walking minutes away from many shops, restaurants and cafes. Nevertheless, it is a quiet location. The hotel staff is very friendly, and the check-in and-out fast. The rooms are new and very clean and tastefully decorated. The train station and taxis (if needed) are a 5 min walk. Parking is available. Breakfast is amazing...

This was a lovely facility with a mix of 'old' charm and modern facilities. Breakfast was superb, dinner was lovely, and the staff were very polite and helpful! The duvets were magnificent. I absolutely recommend staying at Drahthammer Schlossl!

Located right by a lake with a terrace and plenty of outdoor seating. The room is large and tastefully furnished, as is the entire hotel. Everywhere there are green plants, sofas and beautiful tableaus. Friendly and welcoming staff everywhere. We will definitely come back.

A review of an overnight stay at Hotel Krone A wonderful stay at this olde worlde charm hotel. Frau Brendel makes one feel most welcome. The hotel is ideally situated diagonally across the road from the impressive basilica, 30metres from bus station and also 30metres from the (helpful) Tourist Office. The breakfast (included in the hotel tariff) was hearty.

Everything about the property was nice but the older staff member was nice but wasn’t very friendly about me not wanting to take the rest of my food with me because it would go bad before I could finish it. The young staff member girl with black hair was very helpful and understanding about my difficulties figuring out how the keys and parking worked.

Commenting on the Hotel restaurant, they serve authentic German and Bavarian food even outside of the usual tourist season. I really loved their Schäufle and their Bavarian sausages. You can order local Frankonian beer here as well if you're searching for that. Definitely a nice place to fill your stomach after hiking in the area.

My room was supposed to have a double bed, instead it was 2 single bed joined together which was very incovenient for us as it was moving.

Good stay… except the crevice! We enjoyed staying at the ApartHotel. It actually did feel like staying in an apartment. The room was spacious and clean. Our only complaint is that “queen bed” meant sleeping on two twin beds pushed together. Every time I wanted to spoon my spouse I ended up sinking into the crevice between the beds; no good. Room and bathroom clean but rather dated. Woodchip wallpaper painted yellow. Crack in one wall. Furniture a bit dated. A bit like staying in student accommodation from 30 years ago. Bar and reception staff very helpful and efficient. Didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel because it was fairly pricey and alternatives within walking distance. Hotel was in a good location.

It's a very ordinary hotel. Because it's Sunday, you have to operate the machine yourself, but the location is very good. As soon as you go out, you will find the old town of Bayreuth. It is very convenient to various attractions.

I couldn't find a campsite in Bayreuth, so I stayed at Poseidon. It was great because it accommodated four people. The location was right next to the central square, so it was perfect for a walk and a beer. I highly recommend coming with friends... But please be patient if you're coming with a partner.

It was an old hotel. Every equipment in the room was very old. TV in my room had no signal and didn't work. It was cleaned up in the room. When I checked in, a reception lady said only two times, "your name?" and "room number 17".

Old-fashioned villa and bungalow, very close to the city center, about half an hour's walk to the Festival Theater of the Bayreuth Festival. The breakfast is okay. There is usually no one at the front desk. The staff can only be seen during breakfast. It is a loose management.

Fantastic new facility, huge rooms, super clean and comfortable, wifi perfectly working, free underground parking. The hotel doesn’t offer the breakfast but you purchase it at the coffee/bakery place (seated) at the ground floor for good price, great choice and freshly baked pastry.

Well placed hotel on the outskirts of Nuremberg. Clean rooms and staff are extremely helpful. No restaurant for an evening meal but there are some restaurants close by that cater for most palates. Reasonably priced and a good breakfast buffet.

I stayed at this hotel and found it to be quite nice. It’s a standard hotel that provides everything you need. The location is perfect, with the U-Bahn station just 1 minute away and the bus station equally close. It’s an awesome choice for short-term accommodation.

Very nice hotel close to subway station, and Autobahn, convenient to trade fair. Food is worth it's price and excellent. Update April 2023: food and service still excellent. Prices still not excessive. Update May 2024: above still holds. Update February 2024: prices raised according to new tax laws, not excessive. Still excellent.
