We had a fabulous two night stay at the hotel. The reception was a great start. We were treated to complimentary sparkling wine while completing the form in the lounge room. This we call a nice and relaxing start! The room is rather small but sufficient as we barely spent any time in it. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Es waren wunderschöne, erholsame Tage. Ein tolles, großes Zimmer, perfektes Frühstück als Start in den Tag sowie freundliches und gut gelauntes Personal haben uns den Aufenthalt verschönt. Auch der Spa- Bereich hat uns mit dem Schwimmbad und den Saunen gut gut gefallen. Sauberkeit insgesamt im Hotel sehr gut! Das Essen im Restaurant Wolkenlos ist zu empfehlen!

die sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand, mit Ausblick zum Meer, Zimmer geräumig, Bad mit großer Dusche, Punkt Abzug-kaum Abstellmöglichkeiten im Bad, Küchenzeile mit Geschirrspüler,Küchengeräte und Geschirr, alles fast wie neu und sauber, zwei Fernseher, sehr freundlicher Empfang und lecker Frühstück,alles was das Herz begehrt

Die Hotelzimmer sind toll ausgestattet, sehr groß und haben mit Seeblick eine tolle Aussicht. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich, von der Rezeption, über Frühstücksdienst bis zum SPA. Das Frühstück war exzellent! Liebevoll angerichtet und bester Service!

Breakfast was amazing, the buffet had everything one could possibly want. English breakfast favourites like eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, but also croissants, rolls (the plain ones weren't the best, but the others were great), a variety of breads. Several jams, Nutella, honey, etc... Plenty of fresh fruit and fruit salads, yoghurts, quark, salads (herring, egg, couscous), plus all the usual...

Stopped here on a day trip for a cup of coffee and a very tasty an good local version of an apple strudel. Both went down a treat, I recommend this cafe if you are visiting the town or the beach.

the Hotel is only 100m from the beach, we had a big room looking onto the Baltic sea, everthing was organized and clean, fantastic breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, Swimmingpool, Sauna and Fitnessroom, Garage and Outsideparking,great was the Irish Pub where you could eat also. The interior is really beautiful (lobby and also the room I had). Staff was very kind - except at the reception: they seemed annoyed some times. The team at breakfast got hectic at peak times and the soya latte I have been served (for 4,80€(!)) was just terrible. (I believe they made it too hot because it had some weird “soya flakes” in it? We didn't stay there but we have experienced the best services ever in their bar. We all fell in love with our drinks made by a vietnamese bartender. She really made our day, thank you.

Das Frühstück war super. Das Zimmer war schön geräumig. Nur die Kopfkissen waren etwas klein und hart,wahrscheinlich weil die Flocken nicht mehr so locker und luftig waren,wie bei einem neuen Kissen.

The hotel is very well maintained, with a sauna and swimming pool, restaurant and courteous staff, very recommendable. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms clean and well equipped. There was enough parking space and the location on the beach promenade was great. So I would like to come back.

A real insider tip, food star suspicious. Delicious and resourceful. The service first class !!! I can only recommend it. We felt very comfortable! No exaggeration.

We visited the restaurant and wondered why we haven't visited for the past 9 years ?! The menu offers something for everyone, the staff very polite and attentive and the food a poem! We'll definitely be back and let us pamper us!

Es war ein traumhaftes Wochenende. Zimmer sehr gemütlich, sauber und großzügig, vorallem auch das Bad. Minibar vorhanden. Eine Kaffeemaschine (Kapsel) auch. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Was there about two weeks ago food and absolutely recommended. Sauce was a dream: fried potatoes with green onions and chanterelles. Prices will soon become too low for the food. Service is nice and polite, you are not sitting right on the street. Nice atmosphere outside

We have been to Kühlungsborn many times with our friends but this was the first time to Polar Stern. First of all, it was by far the best hotel. We were warmly welcomed. It's really rare to be so kind. The rooms are very nice. The breakfast is absolutely great. Likewise the entire staff. Friendly and competent. The entire outdoor area is also very well maintained. Sweet little hotel, right across from the beach. Super friendly staff, small but nice breakfast. Very tasty steaks and wines. There is a slight deduction in the room because there is no air conditioning and the room is relatively small (at least ours). But we would still love to come back. Dogs are welcome

we like the location. very close to the sea. open the door and walk one minute. then you can reach to the sea. we also like the breakfast, although they are serving by stuff, but stuff their are really patience and warm hearted. we also like the bed. sleeping very calm. we like the bathroom, small but fully function and clean. the shower is nice. surrounding are decent

Very great place. Extremely nice staff, nice ambience, very varied breakfast with a large selection of dishes. Had one of the apartments, very comfortable furnishings, everything you need was there, cleanliness was very important. The proximity to the beach is just great, otherwise everything fits, according to the motto: Arrive, feel good! Will definitely book there again. Highly Recommended.

We are developing into regular guests of the hotel. 10-day stay in September 2021. The hotel is very stylishly decorated with maritime charm and fits in well with the holiday resort of Kühlungsborn. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The reviews speak for themselves. Clean, reliable, modern. A young, friendly team where the guest is and is allowed to be a guest. The breakfast is great and tempts to enjoy and linger. The rooms are not 4 star standard and unfortunately dingy. There is a lack of attention to detail and controlling. Unfortunately, criticism is not responded to. Everything in the main house is great. The breakfast area is absolutely great. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Both the hotel itself and the restaurant can only be recommended! I felt completely at ease, the food was fantastic and the service very attentive. Despite the high standard, a pleasant looseness and good mood was conveyed, which immediately put me in a relaxed holiday mood. Anytime again, I had a great (unfortunately far too short) time!

Zum Fahrrad fahren ist dieses Hotel perfekt. Fahrradabstellraum vorhanden. Ausreichend Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und fahren nächstes Jahr wieder hin.

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel, wer Ruhe braucht und will, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und picobello sauber. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Ansonsten haben wir die Zeit rund um Kühlungsborn sehr genossen, begeistert haben uns die tollen Rad- und Wanderwege, super saubere und kostenfreie öffentliche WC- Anlagen...

Unser Kurzurlaub hat uns gut gefallen. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück einwandfrei. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Alles unkompliziert. Nach Kühlungsborn etwa dreieinhalb Kilometer. Mit dem Fahrrad schnell zu schaffen.

Angenehmes Hotel, unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude war mit der kleinen Terrasse sehr angenehm, alles war sauber, Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend, es wurde gleich nachgelegt, sehr nette Damen im Service beim Frühstück.

Impertinence at dinner, endless waiting for the table to be assigned. Parking space has to be paid but is not reserved and if it is occupied you are unlucky. Only partially friendly staff. We were lucky with the room allocation.

Nice location of the hotel, a bit old, the kitchen there should maybe improve a bit. I think that one could still improve a lot there. Otherwise nice staff.
