Where to stay in Lieser

We didn't stay. We were planning to stop in the next city but couldn't stop us after seeing this building. Its beautiful. The walk around the river is highly recommended. With beautiful winter sun it seemed like a paradise. Ample parking. 1st hour is free and that is sufficient. We tried to explore the town but it was all closed at it was 26 dec.

The property is beautiful, and staying in the castle was a unique experience. I did feel that this wasn’t quite at the same level as other Autograph Collection hotels. The castle has a lot of history, but there isn’t much information available about it. The small church inside to the right has a sign explaining its background, and I think adding more signs like that around the castle would be great...

Hotel was beautiful. All the rooms and decor throughout was wonderful. Many rooms were open for lounging. Food we had in the restaurants were great. There is really no shops nearby, some wine houses in Lieser. Nearby town Bernkastel had shops and more restaurants. We stayed during low season so very quiet around the towns. Had my wedding here and Jessica Cullman and her team was absolutely amazing to work with and set everything up and made the experience just wonderful. We stayed for two nights in July, primarily to relax and unwind. During our stay, we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, had massages, and spent time swimming in the pool. The best of Mosel. A very nice vacation with a sweet and helpsome family, who also makes a very good wine. :-) From the appartment is 5 minutes walk to the Mosel river and 5 minutes in the other direction to the steep slope of the wineyards.

Went for a tour and dinner. Excellent tour and superb homecooked dinner. John was generous with the wine and they accommodated my vegan partner perfectly. In her words: “the best meal I’ve had all trip.” Would highly recommend this very personal experience

Good but not great Overall good, but the breakfast buffé was not very fresh at 11 am and the gym was less then expected given the focus of the hotel.

The experience is all round one of the best wellness hotels we ever stayed in. All staff was freindly and helpfull. The wellness area has a lot to offer and the food in the restaurant was exelent and full off choices. Lots of vegan choises every day. We are already planning our next stay with them.

The Hotel is really niced. We stayed 2 mights and we had a very nice room with a Spa Bath. The room was clean but I was not really happy that they only clean the rokms every second day. They might do it for energy but why do we need to pay an energy tax? Breakfast was very good. The wellness is big and everyone is very friendly.

All processes extremely professional, the employees polite and helpful. The rooms and all facilities very well maintained, high standard! Breakfast very rich, quality of all dishes very good. Good idea: the midday snack between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

My favorite wellness hotel, great clean rooms, wonderful service, lovingly furnished, the restaurant very versatile. Just to relax and switch off and enjoy! The wellness area was very clean and varied. Massages very pleasant. You can take beautiful walks. The service at the front desk, in the restaurant plus room service is exemplary!

Unfortunately, the resort is not well-suited for infants. With no changing table on any toilet nearby, we once had to change a smelly diaper on a bench in the restaurant. Other than that, the stay was rather pleasant. There was excellent food, friendly service, and more wellness facilities that we could use during our short stay.

The cake was delicious, lots of choice, the terrace is nice and quiet. The waitresses were all very nice.

Payment only in cash. No bank cards. Prefer to go to Luxembourg or France, bank cards of course, cash rarely.

Very, very nice, exceptionaly clean rooms and a great cafe serving delicous food in a peacfull setting with woodland walks nearby. The owners (Jan Ernst) are extreemly friendly and accommadating and the breakfast delicious. 5 stars from me for sure.

The mattresses were very good and it was clean, the chairs weren't suitable for sitting and we didn't want to use the parking lot

We were lucky and asked if there was anything else available. There was exactly one room left, it was very small, but we were told that from the start. And was great for staying overnight. The breakfast was very rich and plentiful. All in all a very great overnight stay. We'd love to come back.

Rooms functional but perfectly adequate. Great garden for the evening nightcap. Food very tasty and cheap. Motorbikes can be parked in the yard.

Beautiful property... about a 25min walk to historical down town. You can take a cab but it’s a awesome walk thought wine country! The hotel staff was very nice this is a large property with lots todo.

It's good, not excellent. It's dated, the "rooms" are pretty small but the apartments are of a good size. Plumbing, kitchen, shower/bathtub is ok. German granny style :). Colors are basically Brown and dark brown and tad's of gold. (Don't get your hopes up, it's all fake). In this (extreme) hot period it's also very hot and humid in the rooms even at night. (No airco) Food is reasonable, nothing to...

Needs work Wlan is bad, food wasn't very good. The little shop wasn't opened long enough. To much meds given. For me it was a waste of time.

Ms. Müller is a warm woman who made you feel like she was having fun at her work. We had a clean room with a TV and a double bed. Nice place, not fancy and yes the decor was stuck in the 80s (70s?), but the hostess was very friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the price was right. We stayed here for the Bernkastel-Kues weinfest 2018, and it was a bit of a hike to BK, almost 3 miles. But it was a nice footpath along the river, so no regrets. And taxis were available...

I stayed 4 nights Here for a Business Trip. Reception was Very friendly and welcoming, WiFi free and Clean room. The Bistro was Excellenz for breakfast and at night for pizza and Drinks with a bar. Recommended 10 Out of 10 for this price range

The family hotel is great. The siblings are very nice and helpful. The view of the vineyards from the terrace is beautiful. Breakfast is delicious and served in the beautiful old restaurant. The rooms are simple but bright, clean and cosy. The water pressure in the shower is really cool. We'd love to come back :)

Probably quite good for cyclists, as the bikes can be parked in a garage. Gastronomy for years. Rooms are spacious but not modern and very noisy. TV much too small. Church 50 meters away provides half-hourly time information. Access via steep outside stairs. Staff very friendly.

Cozy and nostalgic hotel, rather a B&B. Close to the Moselle and bridge over it. Clean stay and nice breakfast.

I stayed here on 30/8/22 everything was very good. The room spacious and very clean, the hostess was lovely and the breakfast really nice. I could not fault it. I would return in the future as I visit Bernkastel Keus frequently on my motorcycle

Lovely walk along the riverside. Good breakfast, comfy bed, quiet room, good shower, liquid soap, shower gel and tissues all provided. Usually use the Moselblumchen but it was full. Will use the Alt Cues again instead.

This property was a little further out but it was very easy to navigate your way into the center of town-we walked to everything from this hotel! The staff were excellent and the hotel breakfast was the best we had in our travels. We traveled by bike and they had hotel storage and early check in. Would definitely stay again!

We found the accommodations AOK. The rooms are modern and complete but nothing to write home about. We had a view of the parking lot and our bikes were in safe storage. it was very quiet hotel, We walked to and from town no problem. The apartment was spacious and cooler despite for the very warm days, the breakfast was amazing and the ladies were very attend of all details and needs. The location it is perfect very close to the centrum in a very nice area. I would definitely recommended and come again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small. The bed was sufficient. It is a pleasant (10 min.) walk to Bernkastel which is the main attraction. They have a nice restaurant onsite. The price of the room was fair, but not inexpensive.

The food here is easily some of the best in Bernkastel-Kues. Moreover, the staff are friendly, and the ambiance is amazing. Would recommend 100% - do yourself a favor and go!

We only went to the restaurant, i can't really speak on the hotel portion as I have never been inside. Excellent food, the service was great and they were very polite with our poor attempts at speaking german. Possibly the best asparagus I have ever had.

We stayed here last summer and it was splendid. The rooms are clean, spacious and offer beautiful views. The receptionists are too kind. We stayed here in late August on our first day in Germany after a long trip from the UK. This hotel vineyard was truly amazing, what a gorgeous place it is. A nice concept: The more people who love good food order a table together, the more colorful the selection can be! Everyone orders what appeals to them the most.
